For $20/person AYCE, this is a great value for the money. Unless you have super high service standards (which you shouldnt at a spot charging $20/person) there isn't too much to complain about. Hot pot items are fresh, tons of choices, broths are good, and a great variety of free drinks. The Dim sum and skewers aren't mind blowing but are included in the price as well. The service isn't amazing, but for the price paid its more than a fair trade off.
Send this place on TikTok many times and my friend came to visit from Virginia so we stopped here and gave it a shot. Not a five star for me, but a solid four stars. Plenty of food for $19.99. The hot pot comes out piping hot, but it’s not cooked at the table. It gets crowded for lunch given the special price.
Great hot pot spot in Temple City! Fresh ingredients, flavorful broth, good variety, and friendly service. Great value for the price.

Mebo · Hotpot is an affordable AYCE hot pot spot in Temple City. The AYCE build-your-own hot pot is an amazing deal, with prices starting at $15.99 and a weekday lunch option at $19.99. The buffet by itself is also available for around $11.99. The food is fresh, flavorful, and well worth the price. There are plenty of fresh ingredients to choose from, including meats, seafood, veggies, meatballs, and noodles, plus lots of ready-to-eat dishes and hot dishes. The broth options include a spicy broth with a good kick and a rich and comforting chicken broth. The facility is clean, and the raw meat is decent. Cooked food and side dishes are good. The environment is great, red and vibrant. Staff is friendly, welcoming, and attentive. There is no time limit and no minimum party size, making it perfect for dining solo or with friends. It is the best value Chinese food in LA, with everything fresh and made to order. A must-order is the Shredded Pork in Peking Sauce with Spring Pancakes for $9.99. The Yam and Fresh Shrimp Pot is also massive and flavorful.
