“I Couldn't find a solid review to help me order but its so close to home i took a chance. Saw a Bulgogi beef on the menu which is a familiar Dish to me so i quickly ordered That and decided to sit down. A couple of minutes later, and i have a Nice Healthy bowl of Rice Topped with a heap of BEEF! It was delicious! Thank YOU!“
“If you're looking for an affordable hot pot spot in the SGV, I definitely recommend trying Mebo in Temple City. Their AYCE build-your-own hot pot is only $15.99, which is an amazing deal considering you also get access to the buffet. There are plenty of veggies, meats, noodles, and other ingredients to customize your perfect bowl, and you can choose the broth you want before they cook everything for you.
If you're not in the mood for hot pot, they also offer the buffet by itself for around $11.99, making it one of the best values around. The food was fresh, flavorful, and well worth the price. It's hard to find an all-you-can-eat meal this affordable these days, so I'll definitely be coming back!“

“Nestled in the heart of Arcadia, Phoenix Restaurant offers a delightful culinary journey through Southern Chinese desserts and Cantonese comfort food. As a frequent patron, it has become my go-to destination whenever cravings for authentic Cantonese flavors arise. One of the highlights of Phoenix Restaurant is their traditional approach to crafting dishes, exemplified by their exquisite red bean paste soup. Cooked using the time-honored method with dried orange peel and lotus seeds, this dessert embodies nostalgia with every spoonful. The texture of the red bean paste is impeccably balanced, meeting my discerning taste preferences perfectly. For those seeking a savory indulgence, the Yandchow fried rice stands out as a quintessential comfort dish. Bursting with flavor and expertly prepared, each bite offers a comforting embrace reminiscent of home-cooked meals. Whether enjoyed as a standalone delight or paired with other Cantonese classics, the Yandchow fried rice never fails to impress.Beyond the culinary delights, Phoenix Restaurant prides itself on exceptional service that adds to the overall dining experience. Attentive staff members ensure that every visit is met with warmth and efficiency, enhancing the ambiance of the restaurant. Moreover, the reasonable prices at Phoenix Restaurant make it an accessible option for both casual dining and special occasions. “I recommend the quail eggs, which are delicious and tasty. The chicken feet are dried and cannot be chewed, and the sinewy part of the beef tendon cannot be chewed and has no flavor. I don’t recommend the cold rice noodle. It doesn’t have the chewy texture and the seasoning is not delicious.“
“This place is REAL good! Small space, but VERY wonderful staff, and extremely good food at a decent price, tucked away in a small corner that people easily pass by, if they don't bother stopping in. But hey, that's just their loss.“

“9537 Las Tunas Dr, Temple City, CA 91780 is located in Temple City, Los Angeles County. The name of the store is "Hometown Noodle House". As the name suggests, the restaurant specializes in all kinds of noodles and various hometown-style stir-fried dishes and snacks. “Food is delicious. There is plenty of variety to choose from. Though I did not get to see the full menu. I only ordered from what was available in front of me. There is plenty of parking. Place was full. There were other families dining in while I ordered to go. Portion size is also very good. Service was great. I definitely want to go back and see what else is offered.“

“Recommend by foodie to try out their infamous Scallion Sesames Pancake. It’s definitely a winner! Crispy crust w/fluffy soft fillings w/generous amount of diced green onion in 8-slice🥰
I also ordered Veggie version tofu soup. I’m impressed the chef took this in a higher skill shredded tofu other than just chop-chop in dice. Soup is silky n tasty.
The other dish added on my order is watercress stir fried beef in satay sauce, a typical Taiwanese dish. It’s just average.“

“I the got #4 minced meat dry noodle dish. Hubby got the #5 beef noodle soup (not pictured). Both were delicious but #4 was significantly smaller than #5.
This is the best beef noodle dish we've ever had and we've tried a lot in SGV.
Price wise I agree with others that it's more expensive than average but you can really taste the quality on the food. They only accept cash or Zelle so be aware of that before going!“

“This old shop is very delicious and cheap. 50 pieces of leek, fish, and dumplings are only $20. 50 pieces of cabbage, pork, and meat are only $16. The haggis soup is only $18.99. The fish casserole is only $21.99. Everyone is welcome to try it. Pass the password. It’s delicious😋 face to face.“

“Had a great experience at Alice Kitchen for a family-style dinner. We made a reservation in advance for their 8–10 person set menu ($438), and it was definitely worth it.
The biggest highlight is how convenient the set menu is—no need to think about what to order, and you get a wide variety of dishes. Every course we had was solid, and there really wasn’t a weak dish.
Standouts for me included the braised pigeon, crispy beef brisket (crispy on the outside and tender inside), ginger scallion lobster, and the black truffle fried rice. The portions were generous, and everything came out well-prepared and flavorful.
They also included a complimentary Ovaltine French toast for dessert, which was a nice sweet ending. We added the HK-style pork ribs as well, which were also very tasty.
This is a great spot for family gatherings or group dinners—especially if you want a full, satisfying meal without the hassle of ordering individually.
One thing to note: the restaurant is quite lively and can get a bit noisy, and there are no private rooms. Not a dealbreaker, but something to keep in mind if you’re looking for a quieter setting.
Overall, great food, good value for a large group, and a fun dining experience. Would definitely come back!“

“This sketchy-looking hole-in-the-wall serves the best 生煎 (fried bao) in all of greater LA. The sanitation situation is visibly terrifying. But honestly, I’d risk mild food poisoning once in a while for that crispy bottom and juicy bite. So many authentic Shanghainese restaurants serves pathetic prefab version生煎 nowadays.“

“I went with my mom to try out the dim sum and the service was spectacular. Everyone was attentive the minute we got to our seats. We got our food promptly. The dim sum is 3.99 (weekdays) and 4.99 (weekends). They also have a deal for Lobster noodles (21.99) and congee once you order 3 or more dim sum dishes. I would go back but make sure you go early because this place does get busy.“
