Chengdu Taste is highly praised as one of the best Sichuan restaurants in Los Angeles, with many reviewers calling it the top Sichuan food spot in North America. Guests often describe the food as flavorful and spicy, with some dishes offering a unique and exciting spice experience that leaves lips numb in a good way. The lamb plate served with toothpicks is frequently highlighted as a standout dish, enjoyed for its distinctive spice and delicious flavor. Other popular menu items include white fish soup, eggplant, cucumber salad, lettuce salad, shrimp with veggies, and crispy beef, all of which are appreciated for their taste and reasonable prices.

The restaurant provides a small, comfortable setting, and the staff is often described as friendly, attentive, and accommodating. Dishes come with tea and perfectly steamed rice, adding to the satisfying experience. While parking can be challenging due to the busy street, the overall quality and flavor of the food make it worth the visit, especially for those seeking authentic Sichuan cuisine.

Though some find the dishes spicy and may not enjoy every item, most reviewers agree that Chengdu Taste offers a flavorful and memorable dining experience. It’s a place where many feel they won't find better Sichuan food elsewhere, making it a must-visit for spice lovers and those eager to explore this cuisine. We have not been here for a long time. We used to come here a lot. Food was amazingly good. Price is reasonable. Definitely will come back soon.

Top tier food if you like spicy. Only downside is it's kinda greasy.

Quite good!
