Based on the reviews, Baekam Korean Restaurant is an amazing hidden gem near North Redondo Beach that serves authentic Korean comfort food. The food is absolutely amazing and delicious. The bibimbap is probably the best, with that perfect crispy bottom rice and spicy gochujang sauce. The blood sausage and the fish pancake are absolute highlights, packed with incredible flavor. The pajeon and naengmyeon are fantastic. The 순대 (soondae) is incredibly flavorful, and the soups are the real highlight—deep, hearty, and packed with that authentic homemade taste. The seafood pancake and beef rib soup are hands down the best, and the pork bossam and smoked duck are also amazing. The galbi California short rib is delicious with a perfect marinade and tender meat. The banchan is delicious. The only small downside is that the portion of the bossam and duck combo felt a bit on the smaller side for the price. The staff are friendly, lovely, warm, and efficient, and the service is great. The overall vibe feels casual and welcoming. Definitely one of the best places around for legit Korean food.
