was looking for something different than american breakfast and this was amazing!!!
First visit over the week and stopped by. The banchan felt extra fresh here! Everything was so yummy. Went with my husband and we will definitely be back.
Huge portions and everything is so delicious. I eat At Gen Hwang’s whenever I’m having a difficult/busy week and it instantly lifts my spirit :)

Based on the reviews, General Hwang Korean restaurant 황장군 is a new local spot that is clean and spacious inside with a great mural. The service is great and the staff is kind and attentive. The host cuts noodles and suggests which sides best fit with the food. The food is authentic and cooked extremely well, with large portions. Specific meals highly recommended include the beef rib soup and the Jiri-tang, which is full of rich flavor. There are also rarer menu items like the soy bean paste rice. They have a 1+1 soju promotion and are incorporating new Togo lunch boxes. The owner cooks the food himself with his staff. The place is hard to find and the parking gets packed because the food is so good. Do not skip getting a cafe to top off the meal.
