And the service was great! They arrived early. And the food was hot. The owner, Norwood, presented the food with a very appetizing description of each entree. Everyone loved it! Additionally, the portions were very generous. And everyone went back for seconds. At Triedstone, we do everything with excellence. And Darrow’s definitely met the challenge. “Always a lot of fun coming to my favourite crab boil spot. It is an iykyk location but so worth it. Nicole is always our go to very friendly, very accommodating and very funny. The only other crab boil I have been to is the boiling crab and I can easily say this is a much much better choice for not only being healthier and better tasting but for the service being superior too.“

“This is a nice little gem in our community. The staff was really nice, pleasant. I got the Cajun special, which came with the half pounds of shrimp head off, A crab leg, 3 potatoes in one coin, I added an extra corn. My cousin got mozzarella sticks, fried oysters, sweet potato fries, fried shrimp and regular fries and crab cakes the food was good and tasty. The place was clean a little dark and I'm not sure if they have a restroom. Other than
that, I would go back“

“I recently stumbled upon your establishment and must say, the name perfectly captures how I felt after trying your food. I ordered fried wings, rice, and vegetables, and each dish was exceptional.

The wings were piping hot, and the aroma that wafted from the box was simply incredible. The blend of spices and flavors was perfect, and I was truly blown away.

The rice was buttery and delicious, and the vegetables were a wonderful complement to the meal.

“Cajun outdoor shack with fried seafood options, gumbo, and even alligator. There’s a small parking lot behind the building. Credit cards are accepted. Outdoor dining only (no indoor options) and there’s delivery and takeout available. As other reviews and the sign on their window notes,you won’t get the food quickly since it’s slow food and that’s part of the whole experience. You scan a QR code to get the menu. I opted for a fried catfish and five shrimp plate which came with an option of two small sides. I got the red beans and rice as well as fries. The red beans and rice were hot and comforting; the fries are crinkle cut. The plate came with a side of tartar sauce and there are hot sauces and ketchup available at each table. They have a paper towel roll and hand sanitizer at each table as well. The fish isn’t as seasoned as I would’ve expected but the shrimp was super fresh and tasty. I had leftovers and they still kept relatively well the next day.“

They have option for mild, medium and spicy level, the flavor of the sauce and the shrimp is delicious! I also recommend their fried rice! “The food is good when they have the right chef other times is like they just want to cook something fast and mess up the food like one example the kung pao chicken should be spicy but it wasn't this 3rd time that I went there also the spicy fish wasn't either and no flavor ,and I've tried those before and it was “

“I GrubHub'ed my order and besides the fries being salty to me, as I've cut salt out most my eating time.
I made a mistake with ordering too much fries and they were awesome in getting my first time right, even almost ordered more mash potatoes and I already had that on my order. lol @ me
(I'm lactose intolerant and I'm glad the young lady on the phone saved me from ordering extra of that as she warned me it had milk and butter in it. lol @ me again)
The rest of the food was awesome, and I got the Po'boy sandwich with fries (I forgot to say no tomatoes, as I hate wasting food, but to the trash it went), a side of yams, mash potatoes, and peach cobbler (not the best I've had, but worth the fix. 😁)
I want to go there now, when I get my money and car right, I'll head that way. 😉“

“Unfortunate to say, this is a permanently closed location now. However, the service here was excellent and they really put in effort to ensure that the asked variety of chicken pieces are well cooked and served to us while keeping mind the health protocols. I will be missing this place, hopefully they open another location, soon :)“
