First ill start off with outside vibe was lit the area is very warm... but the guy that took my order was super dry I was trying to explain it was my first time and his energy to help me understand made me feel like hurry up and buy vibes.... the food was rush and I don't think I was really impressed im not going to mention the chick on the phone yelling her business across the restaurant that's not they fault but it was weird we ended up sitting in the car till my order was ready
I’ve been eating here for years, but today (10/16/2023) I was displeased with the food. It wasn't delightful. I’ve never had a bad experience here, until today. I only decided to write a review to encourage you to “fix whatever is broken” if it’s a new cook or under new ownership, but whatever it is, fix it ASAP! I have been a customer for the past 10 years and I'm delighted to say that Bayou meets my requirements for a great community eatery. The fish is always fresh, and the fried fish is lightly battered with just enough seasoning (never too heavy of on the salt). My personal preference of side dishes is the coleslaw (its always just enough mayo). And Michael and the staff are courteous and professional. Great lunch and dinner spot in the neighborhood.
