“Me and my family love this place. We been coming here for a while n we love the Consistency. The food is always awesome and plan on coming here more often. And love how quiet and peaceful it is. Thank you BJ! That was our waitress. We will definitely become back soon.“
“I recently had a fantastic experience at The Crab Shack. Despite placing a last-minute to-go order, the staff was incredibly accommodating and efficient. The freshness of the seafood was unparalleled, and the flavors were a delightful symphony of taste. Kudos to the restaurant for their exceptional service and maintaining high-quality standards even during a rush. I'll definitely be a repeat customer!“
“It's a small restaurant with super good seafood!!! I ordered Seafood Deluxe 4lb and it come with additional 1 lb crawfish for free. Bubbas bomb flavor is amazing!!! The servers are so nice. They went over everything with us, explained their deal, the flavors, and package the left over food after we got full. Highly recommend!!!“
“Excellent and addictive. The last time there was good service, the only thing missing was some tablecloths that I ordered, and an order of corn that I paid for, but hey, it's understandable, a lot of customers. I hope next time they won't be missing ? Thank you all for your good attention.“
“I'm from Vegas no place better then the hook...every time I come to Cali it's one of my first stops....my whole family that lives near by comes once or twice weekly the 2 owners are GREAT! The Cajun salmon cooked medium is the bomb!!“
“Delicious food wow! we finished everything !!! The Seafood is great quality here! The Cajun sauce is nice and fresh you can tell it's made with love... The prices are very reasonable. The restaurant is very clean I recommend the half sampler it was nice and filling for 2! Great for couples This place is definitely a Family friendly restaurant! (: we took our 1 year old and Lanny our server even went as far as giving our baby fruit snacks and oranges so he can also have a meal! Lanny helped us out she was so nice and attentive she refilled our drinks without having to flag her down as well and kept checking on us if we needed anything We will definitely be coming back to this restaurant when we are in the area! Don't miss out ! Check them out“
“Just left the Salem Oregon location. It was so much better than what I was expecting. It’s not been open long so they’re still working out the kinks with servers and all that. But the bag o seafood was SPOT ON. It was all so good. I’m sure the longer it’s open the service kinks will be worked out. But it’s certainly very good food. Everything was delicious.“
“Great good, amazing service, and nice combo deals. My husband and friends ordered cajun fries, garlic noodles, and their combo deal. We ordered the Captain Combo at level 2 spice as the full house seasoning. It had crab legs, crawfish, shrimp, and mussels. Everything was well seasonsed. It was enough for the 4 of us. For drinks, they have a solid selection of soju, seltzer, and beer. I saw that they have beer deals. They have the option of head-on shrimp and peeled and deveined shrimps. There's plenty of free parking in the plaza. There's also plenty of seating for small or big groups.“
“The customer service right off was awesome the entire experience, the AC was on and it was a beautiful sunny day. Very pleasant atmosphere, but most importantly, the food was AMAZING, we got the #2 $130. We tried And we couldn’t finish it! everything tasted fresh, the sauce is made fresh every day and I could tell, hands down the best! I didn’t get the older gentleman’s name, he was super helpful, Rachel and Lauren super courteous, over all super sweet girls! I rarely leave reviews, but this place Definitely deserves it!“
“Hey Foodies ❤️ if you're looking for a place where Thai meets seafood in a bag, Nine Seafood Restaurant is where it's at. Best time to go before things really get jumping on a Saturday is about 4/4:30pm. After that you will blink and see half the place start to fill up. When I came in I was greeted, and ask to hang out for my table to be prepped. Just a few minutes and away we go. The customer service by far is a 10 double ++ for those of you who are not used to being tended too, asking if you need anything during your time at an eating establishment you are in for a treat. The host, server, etc were very sweet and sincere. To the food.....I'm sorry my tastebuds just had a flashback. Where do I start? The flavors were bold and complimented one another something fierce, I had a Brazilian Carnival going on in my mouth. We started with the Edamames with a cajun seasoning. I was stuck here a while, even when our food came i was still going through them. Next was the curry. The yellow curry was rich, smooth with chunky potato and big juicy shrimps. I poured this delectable treat over my seafood fried rice which sent me to another dimension of tastebud euphoria. The class, mussels, shrimp, crab was just mmmmm mmm. Finally we had the Pad See Ew Combo with flat noodles, Broccoli and egg yummy. I mixed this in with the yellow curry, can somebody give me a ride home because I feel a food coma coming. Absolutely loved every dish presented, this hidden gem is a golden nugget. I wish them much success, blessings and favor to the employees and management of this establishment in Jesus name for your work shall not be in vain. May your fruits continue to bear in and out of season.“
“I’ve eaten here a few times on my Disney trips. I usually get the Monte Cristo sandwich because it’s so yummy! So I can’t say much about other items. Big enough to share. The fries are delicious and beignets are always a treat!Service is good. There’s a few gluten free options my sister likes, you can get the monte cristo sandwich gluten free but they need 24 hours in advance so if you get a reservation make sure to let them know if you’re wanting this dish.“
“We have gone to pretty much all Crab Shack locations in the local area, my daughter wanted crab shack and we stoped by since we were closest to this location. I have to say the food here was delicious!! We ordered a special they have 2 pounds of shrimp and 1 pound of muscles, mild crab shack style. The shrimp were cooked perfectly they were plump not over cooked and were easy to peel. The Waitress we had when we ordered was ok she took our order but whenever we needed anything she was no where to be found. It's not like it was busy there was only one other table occupied. Mid way through our meal she either went home or went on break cause we never saw her again which was fine cause the second waitress was readily available and checked on us a few times. The only thing about this place that we didn't like is the booths they're super uncomfortable, the cushion on them was very thin and you could feel the wood planks underneath. They also weren't bolted down so they were moving a bit, oh and the table height to the booth seats was alittle awkward too. Maybe next time we will sit at a table with chairs“
“I recently tried out this mom and pop crawfish place, and it was okay. The atmosphere felt cozy and authentic, but the crawfish lacked that wow factor I was hoping for. The service was friendly, though, and it's clear they put love into their cooking. Overall, it's a decent spot if you're in the mood for some casual crawfish dining.“
“What an amazing experience! I had my daughters 18th birthday here and she loved it! The customer service was excellent, something I've been missing for far too long. Their special touches from organizing, splitting the bill five ways, and playing happy birthday over the speaker were above and beyond. For this I give them 5 stars! We will return soon.“
“If anyone says this place is not good they’re lying this place is amazing this is me and my boyfriends go to spot the best flavor and quality always hit the spot we get the one pound shrimp peeled and the cave style and it never disappoints the waiters are super attentive will forever love this place !“
“Omygoodness some darn good fried chicken and the wedges are huge and meaty. My chicken was surprisingly fresh tasting and also looked like it. Temperature was exact. My second time in life having fried chicken from inside of a gas station. Service was satisfactory. Two pieces dark meat, wedges and drink for a little over $10 is not bad. I will have it again.“
“Very friendly and helpful servers. Came here for a mini reunion with some college mates. We got 2 of the many specials offered : half shrimp half crab with garlic butter and the combo #1 with kicking sauce - has choice of 3: shrimp, clams , mussels or crawfish. Both specials include potatoes, sausage and corn. We also got sides of Cajun fries and rice - one serving is about two cups packed steamed rice. I brought my own latex free gloves because you just need to use your hands to enjoy the food! They do offer bibs and their own food grade but very thin gloves. The tables are covered with waxed paper for quick clean ups. We enjoyed our meal , plus thanks to the waitress for snapping pictures of us together!Pretty quiet, many tables were ordering specials, our group of five had just a tiny bit leftover food.“
“Truly a wonderful experience eating here. I got their spicy crispy pork rice, and only wish I could’ve eaten a bit more. Then I got their dessert: the mango with sticky rice and bah god it was a heaven sent. I felt my soul had been cleansed, as if my diarrhea from the night before had become a purified memory. Also, my server was very cultured and friendly, even naming the dessert in my own language that I didn’t know the name of. Very grateful to have dined here, and would come here more often once I am no longer jobless and scraping pennies off of random openings in thrown-away couches!“
“Being a conscientious critic and providing my critique, I have to weigh and address the obvious elephant in the room first. Being one who has eating at this establishment many times previous to the remodel, I have to fairly compare when critiquing. The previous look of the location was hands down more appealing and aesthetically pleasing to the eyes, ears, mouth and soul. The designer they hired, obviously had a bland modern eye and lack of classic New Orleans flair that is needed to make a change but keep it amazing. The old look was timelessly southern niche and had that old world courtyard feel that anyone who has visited New Orleans loves. They sterilized it with hard lines and modern bland looks, trying to infuse Orleans with California, hard fail. The wall murals and some of the decor remained and that saved it a tad. The entry courtyard was stripped of it’s charm and gave a “back entry to a commercial building” feel. With a random orange patio chairs surrounding cheap tables, patio warmers and no eye catching decor, left one feeling hard pressed to justify the high price tag awaiting their wallets. To our dismay, the decor wasn’t the only thing to suffer the wrath of the modern stripping of one’s old Jazz Kitchen self, the menu suffered as well. It seemed to have taken a hit on selection and authentic southern style cuisine choices and flavors. Missing was the classic gumbo pot boing over with amazing spicy flavors that permeate the souls before even your first bite. Plated well for aesthetics, the meal itself lacked that washboard and creole vibe that you expect from a southern inspired eatery. With so many restaurants struggling with identity and uniqueness that sets them apart, Jazz Kitchen fell victim here. $35 for some basic noodles with cheese and chicken claiming to be spicy, it was a disappointment for sure. When one pays $24 for a hamburger and a handful of fries, that burger should sing on your tongue and make you cry yum, again, sadly disappointed. The music ambiance was delightful and the remaining wall art and inside decor offered a pleasing experience, so I would recommend, eating inside if possible. The drinks were made well and had a good poor to them providing a great mix of flavors and kick. The beignets were hot, fluffy and delicious. A tad on the oily side, but nonetheless, delicious. Overall, the real disappointment here was the overhaul and name change, that they envisioned to be a great thing, only to fall a little flatter than I agree with. Don’t come expecting authentic New Orleans cuisine and flair, this isn’t Tianna’s down on the Bayou experience you would expect while visiting a Disney Parks location. That you’re going to need to go inside the park for!“
“Cool spot stopped here and I wasn't disappointed. I ordered the catfish and mango habanero fries with a side of garlic bread and washed it down with a cold lagunitas...food was great, on point and not over fried I would definitely come “
“The Kicken' Crab is really a great place to hang out with family and friends! No plates or utensils! Just your hands, a bib, and the best tastiest seafood around.... we will diffenently be going back ;)Kid-friendliness: All the kids in our family love going to the Kickin' Crab! Where eles can they wear bins and eat with there hands and not worry about making a mess!“
“Hidden next to the queue for Pirates this is a great spot to grab a nice mid day meal and sit back and people watch. I always go with the clam chowder, you can't go wrong, but for a small quick service location they have some great options. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the tight seating and because it's in a high traffic area it can be hard to get a table to eat from the people just sitting down to relax.“
“We ate at Blue Bayou while visiting Disneyland and it was pretty cool. I remember seeing the tables when I was a little kid riding Pirates of the Caribbean, so I really enjoyed getting to be on the other side of that experience. The food is good but nothing too fantastic. The hush puppies were just okay, but the ribs were good. They have a decent drink menu which is nice. My husband ordered some mixed drinks, and I had a beer. The theme of this restaurant is really nice, and it is awesome that it's a part of the Pirates ride. The only problem is there are a lot of tables and most of them are not near the water. We were lucky that we were only one table back from the water so we could still see people going by, but most everyone else is in the middle of the patio. It is also pretty cramped. The gentleman at the table behind me would bump into my seat occasionally just because we were so close together. You may also be eating at an odd time because the reservations are booked out. We ate at 3 PM. All in all, it is a neat experience but don't expect it to completely live up to your expectations.Kid-friendliness: It is a restaurant at Disneyland. Of course it is kid friendly!“
“Great Food Friendly Service Ambiance great for game days a lot of tvs And the complementary dessert delicious Today was my first time going and definitely will come back with family the gumbo was very tasty and will be great for a cold or rainy day“
“We got the Louisiana half chicken dinners and custard fills. Everything was so good! The chicken was juicy and flavorful, the pickles and slaw were crunchy and fresh and the macaroni and cheese was soo yummy! Everyone who helped us was so polite and knowledgeable. Definitely returning next “
“The host initially told us 45min - 1 hr. Then after an hour she changed her words and said its 1.5-2hrs. The worst part is she made it a point to state that she never said the first time frame and made me feel dumb for her lie. Service at tables was okay. Food was consistent and good.“
“I got the Cajun shrimp platter and it was delicious! I got it medium spicy. They have 3 levels: mild, medium, and hot. It's one pound of shrimp and it also came with 2 potatoes and a piece of corn and rice. The potatoes were a bit on the hard/crunchy side but were still good. Personally I like my potatoes to be a little more soft. I like that it came with rice too beacuse you can scoop some up with the cajun sauce from the shrimp and it's ohh so good! Overall it was soo tasty and just what I was in the mood for that day! P.s. my friend and I were sitting/eating at one of the tables across from this vendor and we were there for a bit eating and catching up and I'm not exaggerating but at least 8 or more people kept asking us where we had gotten our food from because it looked so delicious! And of course we pointed them to the right direction! Lol“
“What can I say this was a hole in a wall that we decided to try to satisfy our boiling crab craving and WOW it was delicious, even better than boiling crab in our opinion. Really laid back atmosphere and the service was welcoming and attentive. This is now our spot! We'll be back!“
