Best Yakitori Chef in the area 👌!!
Best Yakitori Chef in the area 👌!!
I used to go to this restaurant quite often a long time ago, and since I’ve been working more in the area lately, I decided to stop by for the first time in a while. To be honest, it’s a shame, but the food used to be prepared with more care and tasted better back then. Still, since the quality of yakitori in the U.S. is still pretty low, I think this place is better than most.
Best Yakitori in the U.S.!!!
Already 5th time back, amazing grill flavor at just right amount, best meatball no-place-else, the taste of skewers are always surprising me. Better than any in Hawaii or NYC(I’ve been to too many yakitori places).
Reasonable price, lower than average, which makes it even better!
Such nice staff, nice and friendly. Bless to the chef. So altogether the best Tori place☺.

Torimatsu is a small, intimate restaurant that offers a superb dining experience. The menu features a variety of delectable yakitori dishes, including the lotus root stuffed with chicken and the shiso leaves stuffed with chicken, which are highly recommended. The chicken meatballs and chicken liver are also praised as top-notch. The restaurant boasts a nice selection of sake at reasonable prices, with a 300ml of Kubota Manju Junmai Daijingo available for only $55. The service is friendly and professional, although the restaurant can be busy, so making a reservation is highly recommended. Walk-ins may find it difficult to get a table, especially on weekends. The restaurant is often filled with groups who linger, making reservations essential to secure a spot. The food is considered to be authentic and very good, and it’s a popular spot for friends gathering. The restaurant also offers a torimatsu course, which includes 10 skewers, chicken-broth soup, salad, and ice cream for $38. Whether guests choose their own skewers or let the chef decide, Torimatsu remains a must-visit destination for yakitori enthusiasts.
