Old school nostalgia in a box. Take out and cash only, phone orders preferred. Lucky i went on a weekday on my last trip to Gardena and ordered up a 10 piece sushi box with the popular items walking up, the lady at the counter handpicked them for me ?No joke, this family owned business has been around since 1962. Easily the best sushi place I've ever been to. The epitome of an under the radar hole in the wall type of place. They only have (and need) a simple menu because they execute it so well. I appreciate that you can order ahead and pickup. Not only is the fish and other ingredients fresh, the rice is perfectly flavorful - a balance of vinegar and sugar but allows the other ingredients to shine ??
