“Stopped by for the first time and had a great overal! experience. The plaza has plenty of spacious parking, which made visiting super convenient. We ordered the Teriyaki Chicken & Beef Fries, Takoyaki, and the Tiger Roll.
The tries were crispy and well-seasoned, and the Tiger Roll had great flavor with tempura crunch inside. The restaurant was clean with plenty of seating, and one of the staff members was especially kind and helpful when checking on our order. Looking forward to coming back and trying more items from the menu!“

“Came in for a conference and had lunch at Momi Sushi after checking into our hotel. We tried the sashimi sampler, miso soup, fish of the day nigiri and the tamago nigiri. Everything was incredibly fresh, accented with light complimentary flavors. I loved the dine-in ice bowls for the sashimi. Well worth it. If we have time before we have to go home, we will definitely be back.“

“We had the chance to celebrate Sushi Zanmai’s 1-year anniversary, and it was such a fun experience from start to finish. The restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, and you can tell they truly care about quality and hospitality.

One of the highlights is that Sushi Zanmai has its own exclusive house sake, which made the experience even more unique. We enjoyed a sake tasting, and each bottle had its own smooth, well-balanced flavor that paired beautifully with the food. If you enjoy Japanese sake, this is something you definitely shouldn’t skip.

We ordered the Zanmai Gozen, and it was the perfect way to experience a variety of the restaurant’s specialties. The beautifully presented set included fresh sashimi, crispy shrimp and vegetable tempura, flavorful appetizers, a creative specialty roll, and perfectly cooked bites finished with rich sauces and just the right amount of spice. Every item was fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and showcased authentic Japanese flavors.

The presentation was stunning, the ingredients tasted incredibly fresh, and every bite reflected the attention to detail that Sushi Zanmai is known for. The chefs were welcoming, and watching them prepare the dishes added to the overall dining experience.

Fish seemed fresh, and they have special wrappers on the rolls to keep the nori crisp until you eat it. Nice, quick amd casual. This was my second visit to Sushi Kaneyoshi, and it remains incredible. The staff is so attentive they anticipate your needs before you even realize them. While the price point is high for a single meal, the quality is on a different level. As an average salaryman, I can say it's worth every cent. Kaneyoshi is a master, and I never tasted food the same since coming here.

“Not that I've eaten at a ton of high-end omakase sushi restaurants, but Sushi Sonagi is one of the best omakase restaurants I've had in the world.

Chef Son seems to do a seasonal menu, but sources and prepares fish uniquely that not only tastes absolutely amazing, but also in a way that I didn't taste at several other, Michelin-starred omakase sushi restaurants. For example, I personally do not enjoy the taste of salmon, but the one Chef Son prepared (he described it as a 1 in 1000 salmon) did not have a strong salmon flavor at all, and it ended up being one of my favorite courses out of the whole meal. It should speak volumes of his skill that he could turn one of my least favorite ingredients into a dish I hope I'll be able to eat more of.

While I'm not a big sake person, the waitress (I assume his wife but I don't know for sure) was happy to recommend a sake based on my taste preference and she really nailed it, it was one of the best tasting sakes I've ever had as well.

Chef Son was also very conversational, and as a local South Bay resident he was able to chat with all the customers about a ton of stuff. Mostly food and cooking of course, but also other things as well. It was a much more relaxed and casual setting than other places at the $200+ price point, which I appreciated.

These types of restaurants are usually one and done for me no matter how good they are, but Sushi Sonagi is the first one I'm seriously considering returning to, and sooner rather than later.“

Depending on the day, if you order a beer you sometimes get a free fried corn poppers appetizer, which is actually surprisingly good.

My usual go-to rolls are the Hungry Roll and Samurai Roll, but honestly everything I’ve tried here has been solid. Service is always good as well.“

“K Sushi is a hidden gem. Our server Luke, was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered the Special Roll Tray and the Tempura Ice Cream.

The Special Roll Tray was flavorful and a great portion size for 4 people with moderate appetites. The Tempura Ice Cream was amazing. I loved the contrast between the crispy crunchy exterior and the cold ice cream inside. The pricing was fair and standard. They have korean fushion rolls on the menu. I will be coming back to try those!

The restaurant is small family business tucked in a small plaza. The place was clean and comfortable. It wasn’t too busy during dinner time on a Thursday. The bathrooms were clean which is always appreciated.“

It was very delicious but I think I would have enjoyed it more if it was on crispy rice. The rolls were great, but what was fantastic was the Hato rice hot stone rice pot. Flavors were unlike anything I have tasted, umami and rich. Definitely a must try!“
