“Amazing food love it we've been eating here for over 22 years we LOVE LOVE their food everything is amazing highly recommended. Except every once in a while they forget to put my gyro sauce in the bag I ask for it on the side but we will always keep going back.“

“First time trying it this weekend and I ordered a pound of shrimp with some cajun fries and LET ME TELL you! They will forever have me as a customer. This was literally better than Boiling Crab and other places I have been too. Their seasoning is so garlicy which I love and plus their customer service is on point. Their shrimp are so big and easy to peel. You can def taste the freshness of the food. They were so nice and were asking us if we needed anything. I am so happy I gave this place a chance plus I live a few mins away so I will be here very often. Thank you so much!“

“All good ! Excellent food! But... it is not appropriate for you as a client to have an elderly person with half-naked pants. The poor man coughs and coughs (I don't blame him, due to his age) but it is not correct that he still hands out the menu cards without cleaning his hands. Much less that he stands in front of clients and his pants are too low ??“

I tried ordering a lunch special but the man said they didn't have any at the time so I just went with the 6.99 pepperoni pizza. The employe was nice and the pizza took about 5 minutes to come out. Asked for yams and greens and mac and cheese. I got 3 sides Mac and greens only. Still grateful to, because I told her I only had some of the cash and she said it's ok and kindly sent me home! Main issue I have is ....I didn't get ANY gravy at all I had a comfort food craving and that entails lots of smothered gravy. I had to come home and make some gravy. I believe they have new owners because the name changed to Sol of Los Angeles. There is a buffet in Gardena...it's written on the wall!****Owners ****please update the hours on line ,I drove really far and they were closing hours earlier. I included a screenshot of the information given. I just tried the smothered steak I used to love and this one today is dry, unflavored and hard with no gravy. Oxtails we're very small and minimal, no gravy and overpriced for the value. Both these items total close to $40....“

“Today is my 4th time coming here, close to my house near South Gate park. I've had breakfast 3 times & today I came for a Sopa de Gallina. I must say their food is delicious, the presentation is very appealing & their service has been consistent & pleasant. I would highly recommend you come in & try it for yourself. “I've lived nearby to this hidden gem and never ventured inside until around 2 years ago. Food, service and ambiance is wonderful. We decided after our first time there that it would become our Taco Tuesday spot. Be warned though, it gets kinda packed especially before closing time on Tuesdays for their special when the rush kicks in. Oh man, they have a salsa bar with this habanero sauce that's sooo good and spicy that my mouth waters when I think about it. One lil container is all I need for like 4 tacos. A lil goes a long way. I dare ya to have some. ;) Anyway, give it a shot. It may become your new spot too.“

“First time trying this spot, son wanted sushi and husband wanted burritos so this place popped up. Service was great very attentive, there only 2 other people eating there when we got there but we sat outside and service was still good. We got suggestions and we ended up getting avocado roll the hot Cheetos roll, wet burrito with lengua (green salsa was actually spicy not sweet like other spots) and the taco plate 3 tacos one asada one chicken and one lengua. Their michelaguas were delicious everything was so filling. We loved it and would come back to try other stuff. We got a sample of their birria and that would be my next plate.“

“The food was DELICIOUS. We tried the Rocky (a tower of mixed seafood), tacos tochos, and a shrimp cocktail. The owners are very polite and very accommodating. The owner gave us samples of future dishes. Is hard to get good service or basic service now a days, but this place really made an effort to make us feel welcomed. “I really like this place! They have delicious garlic noodles. I've tried all 3, chicken beef and shrimp. All are delicious depending on what you're in the mood for. Their Vietnamese coffee is delicious, garlic fries are yummy and they give a large portion. Beef bulgogi sliders were good a tiny bit too salty but still yummy. And they also sell Pur bowls which are like açaí bowls but also have other options for the base like matcha and other fruits and they have plenty of healthy toppings, I like to add the vanilla chia pudding to the Amazon bowl very yummy. I also appreciate the decore it's very pretty. The service has also been friendly and prompt. Excited to try other menu options.“

“Their chicken is so good, I'm a picky eater when it comes to chicken because I know sometimes it can have a taste but this one was really good, and every time I order the plate it was always warm and ready to eat. The sauce gives it that spicy taste. And the price is not bad at all.“

“I come here often and the food is very homey and always the same has consistency. There's a large dinning area and yet service is fast. I usually come in the evening and the ambiance is on the calmer side. The agua de cebada is reaalllyyy good... highly suggest coming here. The pollo a la plancha is also good. There are plenty of bottled salsas and you get unlimited sour cream and home made salsa.“

If you're a sushi lover you must also try their Mexican Roll wow! The reason why I give this place 4 stars and not 5 is because the rolls could have been tighter since it always falls off when you pick it up. “The food here is great. I love their fries and their little Chile's that they provide when asked for. This location has been in SouthGate for many years and still taste as great as when they opened. I would also like to appreciate how most of the time they ABSOULUTLY NAIL THEIR SODA! You can tell that they frequently wash the fountain soda because it doesn't have that NASTY taste of an old gym sock as in other places who do NOT clean it as frequently. I would also like to add on how great of prices they have! Back in the old days (about 7 years ago), a whole meal cost around $5. Now, obviously, it has gone up but at a reasonable price. A couple of things I would recommend would definitely be the bacon burger or the avocado bacon burger thingy ma-jingy. In conclusion, Zogos Burgers is a great place to buy your burgers.Parking: There's quite a lot of parking places in this location. They have a parking lot, street parking, and/or drive-through if you don't want to park or get off of your car.“

“Do yourself a favor and come here! When moving to South Gate I was so bummed I was leaving all my taco spots behind but luckily we ran into this taco truck one night. All their meats are superb!!! Al Pastor is my go to! Their burritos are a must!! Trust me, you won't be disappointed.“
