We live about 45 min away from El Pescador South Gate. The great food, excellent service, and very good value are well worth the 45 min drive.This time we ordered the Trio Presidente and the mojarra frita plate. Both plates were excellent and delicious. Food is always delicious. We are from San Diego, and when we are up in L.A., we always make time to eat at El Pescador. We have been to several El pescador restaurants. The only thing is that the service could have been better from our server, but overall, delicious food.

It was my first time at El Pescador, it was ok, it was busy, not stalls in the parking lot, street parking gotta do, once our name was called, not tables just booths, I ordered chicken tacos, which were served on a metal divider plate, instead of tortilla, the tacos are served on iceberg lettuce leaves not to impressed with presentation, chicken was grilled good taste not salty or greased, yet I think I'm not sure a taco with a tortilla ain't a taco.
