“I've only had their food at the Foodzilla fest event in the valley. The tacos are well packed, the carnitas, cueritos and buches mix is delicious. Just one taco for me was enough, the quesadilla for me the 2nd event I was at was also well packed, it was like 4 meals for me. The tortilla de harina was crispy just the way I make mine at home.“

“Came here for dinner and left feeling like I'd just eaten at home. The Aloo Tikki was crispy and perfectly spiced, the Chana Chalupa was a fun twist, and the Noormahal Lasagna was something I haven't seen anywhere else. The Veggie Fun came out at exactly the spice level I asked for, and they were happy to swap in garlic naan. Everything was well cooked and the flavors felt genuinely authentic, which is hard to find in LA.
The service really stood out too. The staff was warm, attentive and super sweet the whole night. You can tell they care about their guests. Highly recommend Roots Indian Bistro, and I'll definitely be back.“

The wax beans were a standout - snappy and bright with serrano chile, toasted hazelnuts, and a tangy Frenchie vinaigrette. The garden lettuces were crisp and well dressed with radish vinaigrette, fresh dill, walnuts, and shallots. Good vibe, happy staff, great mix of flavors. The orange wine pairing tied it all together. “After our Altadena house burned down, we relocated to Barker Block and absolutely love being so close to Manuela. We used to have a fire table like yours, so dining here always carries a sense of home. Last night we brought friends, and they said, ‘This makes it hard to go out to eat in Monrovia—our restaurants cut corners with cheap ingredients and fast turnover.’ What your chefs create is the opposite: dishes with not just incredible flavor but extraordinary texture and detail. Their expertise is off the charts, and I highly recommend.“

Oh my gosh, it was divine! The uni was so fresh and creamy and the pasta itself was cooked just right. Every bite was an explosion of flavor. We also tried the baked lasagna and it was delightful. The layers were perfectly balanced and each bite was full of rich, savory flavors. Let's not forget dessert! We shared a few different things and they were all great. The tiramisu was fluffy and decadent and the chocolate mousse was rich and smooth. Overall, Angelini Osteria is definitely a must-try for Italian food lovers in Los Angeles. It's a week later that I tried these tacos and I can't stop talking about them. My favorite was the beans with cactus. Soooo good. Also, the atmosphere was just so nice and lively. “The signature dish is the crab in sauce, which comes in medium and large sizes. medium is two crabs with two bowls of rice, and large is three crabs. Compared with other Korean restaurants, the sauce crab taste is mild, and it will not be salty enough to explode in the middle of the meal and cannot continue to eat. The crab is fresh, not fishy, and the meat is firm, not squishy. The crab meat is also very full, the crab legs are full, there is no empty shell crab. The sea urchin rice is a little smaller but the sea urchin is enough. regular sea urchins are not particularly sweet, but they are fresh and worth the price. The sea urchin Rice bowl combo will be served with steamed eggs, runny eggs and two prawns in sauce. Raw marinated salmon rice is amazing to me. The salmon is marinated just enough to be flavorful, but not overly salty. The portions are generous. You can eat two bites of each piece of salmon.“

The tall tattooed bartender working the bar was amazing. He was super welcoming, friendly, and genuinely made me feel comfortable right away.
