“My daughter took me to this BBQ spot while I came to visit. Let me tell you that it was amazing . I've been to Kansas City where they got the best BBQ but in my opinion this one is better than the ones I went to in KC. We got the brisket, Sausage of the day, cole slaw, Grammy's potato salad and Mac and cheese. They were all amazing. We got there about half an hour before closing and they were out of pulled pork, baked beans and burnt ends They must be the most popular ones which most people love. The staff was very friendly. Hope to come back soon.“

“Been meaning to hit this place, but always pass them up. Glad I stopped by, they got some good eats here. Tried the Vamipro with bistec and potato. Nice and crispy hand made tortilla. Potatos were healthy cut pieces and soft. Also had the Guisado sampler and man they are not shy with the servings. I definitely recommend the sampler plate if you are wanting to try the different options of guisados. For this location early is better as they do sell out of items on the early side. They also have restaurant where you can get there goods as well.“

“So far I have tried the spicy Korean fried chicken bowl, pork belly bowl and japchae, all of delicious. Always fresh. My toddler only likes japchae from an AYCE kbbq in Garden Grove, but she has approved of yours. 10/10 every time. I am always greeted with a smile. I will keep coming back.“

“Just came by for a leisurely Labor Day early lunch and Manny did not disappoint. We ordered two #3 combos, so 6 meats and 8 sides for 4 people. We had the brisket, tri-tip, beef ribs, baby back ribs, pulled pork, and the chicken. For the sides, we had 3 smoked beans, potato salad, 2 cole slaw, and 2 mac salads. It was nothing short of a feast! The meats were well-smoked, flavorful, juicy, and Manny was as kind as he was generous and attentive. He threw in 4 free sodas, free bread, a free side (we went with an extra cole slaw), and threw on a free kielbasa as well! We couldn't finish everything and the food we took home would easily make for an extra meal for all of us. We drove all most an hour, in the rain, from Torrance; this was not our first dining experience here, and it was just this kind of generosity and service that we experienced the first time that brought us back and will continue bringing us back as long as he stays in business.

“Inside the Whittier Brewing Company, it's a small food hall with individual vendors. You order at a counter. Hours vary by day until they sell out. Go early as brisket & sausages sell out quickly, especially with World Cup watch parties held in hall.

“I've tried just about everything on the menu at Shady Grove Foods and nothing disappoints. I can close my eyes and put my finger on the menu and I would be happy wherever it landed. I had Sticky Bones again tonight and I'm as thrilled as the first time I tried them and all the other times I've had them and in fact I feel like tonight's were the best ever. I seriously enjoy their food and hospitality. The hardest part is driving back to Cal Heights without opening the box and start eating. We were a group of 10 and we came right at peak dinner time, which honestly sounds like a terrible idea but thankfully they were able to sit us within 40 minutes. We were sat at two tables and had a burner each. The service was great, especially with how busy they were that night. The KBBQ was super yummy and I especially loved the steamed egg, I ordered two total. The house salad was so so good- I wish someone would tell me the recipe (pls) because I ate the whole bowl. The meat came out at a decent time and I enjoyed sides. They also offered buldak ramen, which my younger cousins enjoyed- so I’m sure other parents or family members may wonder what else kids may enjoy here. I will definitely be back!“

“The place is small and a little old, but it’s pretty well known around OC for Korean BBQ ribs. The prices are a little high, but the food is really good. Both the beef short ribs and pork ribs have great flavor without being too heavy, and you can really taste the meat. The side dishes are simple but good, and I especially liked the seasoned minari. It goes really well with the meat. Not a fancy place, but I’d definitely come back for the ribs.“

“I got the tasajo which was already good but omg the moronga was DELICIOUS. I am usually not a fan of blood sausages or blood related food but this was so smooth, tender, savory and flavorful. If I didn’t already know it was a blood sausage I would have never guessed. The serving is huge if you eat standard servings you could easily split a portion but we got greedy.

Highly recommended just for the fact that they changed my mind about blood sausage.

It seems they rely heavily on rubs rather than a variety of seasonings, resulting in a lack of flavor. On the positive side, the charring on the meat is quite well done. The establishment is very clean, and the portion sizes are generous, ensuring you will leave feeling full. While the taste could benefit from additional flavor, I would recommend it to others primarily for its presentation. Personally, I would not revisit, but it is worth noting that this is a commendable black-owned business.“

“I think I've already posted about them? Anyhoot- The food, specifically the wings are absolutely the best I've ever had. They are NOT frozen and are cooked to order. They nail each of their flavors like a Gold medal. My wife and I have cravings... for these extremely fresh wings. A little pricey but worth it. I believe they sell wings in a 10 and 20 count.I always finish mine and have at least 3 of my wife's. If you worry about them being Korean BBQ....DON'T. You will have fireworks of flavors and textures blowing up total goodness on all of your tastebuds. If you do order don't expect 5 or 10 minutes as I said not frozen and cooked to order, make sure you know they'll take 15 to 20 minutes to make. I don't want to say anything bad at all, but they charge you for ranch dressing and it is a little priced high. But don't let that stop you. Go get your fingers covered in beautiful flavors, I've never been a finger licker, but I lick my fingers here. It's an exception. Go, you will fall in love...LOL“

“Amazing! The whole family eats here. Ribs are unique and usually aren't served anywhere, but really like how they are one of the only ones to serve it. Katsu and the chicken are always my favorite. I do however recommend that they have a different sauce instead of a house sauce. A regular teriyaki sauce would be really good, which is something I suggest.

“We tried this Thai restaurant for the first time, and our experience was amazing! The taste and quality of the food were excellent. Our favorite, the Tom Yum Soup, was absolutely delicious. We also tried the Spicy Basil Clams for the first time, and they were incredibly flavorful and mouthwatering. Overall, it’s a great restaurant if you enjoy authentic Thai food. We would definitely visit again!“
