“The chocolate banana bread is my ultimate favorite banana bread of all time. It is moist and full of flavor. You will enjoy it. Next, I’m not a fan of blueberry and prefer strawberry but the worker said it’s pretty good so I gave it a try and I’m so glad I did. I got a plain bagel with blueberry smear and it was delicious. It didn’t taste like blueberry too much. I really liked it.“

“One of the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever had! They have a variety of breakfast sandwiches, burritos, fish, and other breakfast foods!

The staff were kind and welcoming. They have a variety of chips, drinks, even Mexican Sprite, Fanta, and Coke!

I got a plain bagel that had turkey, cheddar cheese, scrambled eggs and a hash brown. I devoured the sandwich and it was ready within 5 minutes of ordering!

I would definitely come back here!“

“Great corner bagel shop with plenty of choices of bagel as well as cream cheese. They do have coffee too. Clean and bright with good vibe. Friendly staff. Bagels are tasty and but the cream cheese filling was so little. Wish it just abit more.“

“Came in this morning, First time, My bagel was amazing!! The bread itself was very soft and not hard and chewy like most bagels i’ve had. Very fresh! Also, Sweet young lady working the front was a big bonus! Loved this place! Wish i wasn’t visiting i’d come more often! :)“

“What a great hidden gem in Los Alamitos! I ordered an Americana bagel on jalapeño bread, a hot tea and an iced vanilla chai, everything was delicious. Plus they have ice nugget machine which I prefer instead of the big ice chunks for iced drinks!
The iced vanilla chai was SO good, much much better than its big corporation competitors. I will definitely come again. Both girls behind the counter were very kind and patient and gave me the WiFi password and gave me recommendations. They really made you feel at ease. What a delight to visit, I would certainly recommend this cafe to anyone looking for good prices, good food and yummy drinks!“

“...and ive been coming here for years now so i guess i keep coming back for a reason. the bagels are always fresh and have that perfect chewy inside with a nice crisp outside just how i like them. service is usually quick even when theres a line which is impressive for sucha small place. had the veggie cream cheese this morning and it was spot on with plenty of real veggies not just a spread. wish they had a little more seating cause sometimes its hard to find a spot to sit and enjoy. i think teh coffee could be a touch stronger but its still decent. defintely my go to spot when im in town“

“Last week my kid and I were in a pinch because we forgot that our weekly park meetup was “ Potluck”. We were so excited to find Einstein Bros and then Karen took amazing care of us. She hooked us up with fresh bagels and cream cheese. She even gave us napkins n knives. These bagels were so fresh and delicious. I can’t wait to comeback. They were a hit with the kids. “First time in 20 years visiting this place. Completely different setup but still delicious bagels. The staff are very friendly and patient. They now serve delicious bagel sandwiches. The bagels here are the OG. Come to this place and you'll keep coming back.“

“I can’t believe this place is still here. I moved from Long Beach over 16 years ago. Back in the late 80s to late 90s my family would go every Friday to the video 1 next door and then pick up some donuts and ham and cheese croissants. Glad it’s still around.“

“This place is a gem! I got a breakfast croissant and a coffee for only $14. The croissant was really good — not dry at all, very flavorful. And the Vietnamese coffee was only $4, served in a huge cup, and it tasted amazing. I really wish more people knew about this spot. Thank you!“

“Well, its not THE best anymore, but I still like it. It is a bit pricey for what you get, which is fine if its quality. The iced latte was warm, the bagel was doughy & had just a little piece of soggy bacon. It has always been expensive for a bagel shop, but it use to be small & family operated. I was glad to see it expand, but now miss what it used to be. The drive through is convenient for me. Others complain about the cashless aspect which for me is not an issue… It will not be my go to for coffee & I hope they fix the bagel because the lunch sandwich looked good & I would like to try it sometime. 3.5 stars 🌟 for this location.“

“I got the donuts and Vietnamese coffee first. Both were delicious and the donuts were soft when we got them and even a day later. Still soft as if it were fresh. I got the croissant sandwich the second time and it was also excellent. The prices aren’t too bad either and it’s supporting a family owned business too. They were really friendly.“

“I have been coming to Grounds Bakery & Cafe since the day they opened. They have some of the best fresh breads and pastries. Such a massive selection. My favorite are the sandwiches. Honestly the best tuna sandwich in the world. And literally, I mean the world- I have tried them everywhere. And their is not single place other then grounds that gets them right and perfect. “I don't know about the rest of the day, but at 8:30 in the morning the donuts here are delicate and delicious. Highly recommend the raspberry filled jelly donut. Haven't had one that good since I was a kid. The ladies serving me were very helpful and friendly.“
