The staff were kind and welcoming. They have a variety of chips, drinks, even Mexican Sprite, Fanta, and Coke!

I got a plain bagel that had turkey, cheddar cheese, scrambled eggs and a hash brown. I devoured the sandwich and it was ready within 5 minutes of ordering!

Yes, the line can get long during peak hours, but just like anywhere that's popular, that's to be expected. I can honestly say the wait is always worth it...the bagels are amazing, and the coffee is consistently top-notch.

I've been coming here at least once a week since they opened, and they've never disappointed. Parking can vary depending on the time of day, but don't let that stop you. Take a short walk, and you'll be rewarded with a bomb coffee and, yes, THE BEST BAGELS IN TOWN!

“What a great hidden gem in Los Alamitos! I ordered an Americana bagel on jalapeño bread, a hot tea and an iced vanilla chai, everything was delicious. Plus they have ice nugget machine which I prefer instead of the big ice chunks for iced drinks!
The iced vanilla chai was SO good, much much better than its big corporation competitors. I will definitely come again. Both girls behind the counter were very kind and patient and gave me the WiFi password and gave me recommendations. They really made you feel at ease. What a delight to visit, I would certainly recommend this cafe to anyone looking for good prices, good food and yummy drinks!“

“A friend of mine and I love to get bagels together every so often, so we decided to visit this place. This place has one of the best bagels that I have ever had! Their bagels are light yet larger than your typical grocery bagel, but you don't feel so dense by the end of eating one of their sandwiches. I got their egg, sausage, and cheese sandwich on a wheat bagel, and it was DELICIOUS! I also got an iced blended spiced chai which I HIGHLY recommend. Really recommend this place if you want a filling and delicious breakfast!“

Also, recently, my car's air conditioner broke down.
I was so thirsty so I stopped at the
Alex Donut Shop.
It was a small Donut shop. The place was organized and they kept the shop very cleaned.
The owner was from
Cambodia. He was attentive, friendly and
very helpful.
I was vey thirsty so I wanted to drink something cold and refreshing.
I ordered the Mango
Juice Smoothie.
And I tried the Ham & Cheese Croissant and Strawberry Cream Cheese Croissant.
The Croissants were
big and delicious! 😋
The Mango Juice Smoothie was so tasty, creamy and refreshing.
I really liked it a lot!
And I would like to recommend this donut shop to everyone.“

“Well, its not THE best anymore, but I still like it. It is a bit pricey for what you get, which is fine if its quality. The iced latte was warm, the bagel was doughy & had just a little piece of soggy bacon. It has always been expensive for a bagel shop, but it use to be small & family operated. I was glad to see it expand, but now miss what it used to be. The drive through is convenient for me. Others complain about the cashless aspect which for me is not an issue… It will not be my go to for coffee & I hope they fix the bagel because the lunch sandwich looked good & I would like to try it sometime. 3.5 stars 🌟 for this location.“

“I have been coming to Grounds Bakery & Cafe since the day they opened. They have some of the best fresh breads and pastries. Such a massive selection. My favorite are the sandwiches. Honestly the best tuna sandwich in the world. And literally, I mean the world- I have tried them everywhere. And their is not single place other then grounds that gets them right and perfect.
