I’m rating Cassidy’s of Whittier a 5 all around because that was truly my experience every time I’ve visited. I have been there at 7am, 10am, and 12pm either on a weekday or weekend and it has been busy which a great sign! I suggest going early especially if you’re going on a weekend because you’ll have your pick at all the bagel options (they have over 15 kinds).

What a big selection of great soft bagels. Very nice and inviting. I'd say this is an exceptional spot.

The environment is warm, welcoming, and inviting, with a cozy atmosphere, music, and plenty to look at while waiting or enjoying a meal. The owners and staff are outstanding, friendly, attentive, down-to-earth, and provide perfect service, greeting everyone with genuine kindness. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and impressive. The bagels are amazing, with over 15 kinds, and are perfectly prepared with a great texture and consistency—never dry or doughy. The Joe's Special on a jalapeño cheese bagel and the Desi on an everything bagel are both tasty and filling, with a lemon pepper addition and extra bacon. The lox on a garlic bagel and the California on a sesame bagel with sprouts are really good. The cinnamon glaze with sweet butter is a nice treat, and the cinnamon bagel with strawberry cream cheese is a hit. The coffee is consistently top-notch, rich, smooth, and top-tier, and the ice blends are delicious. Prices are reasonable, and sandwiches are filled up well. The line can get long during peak hours, but the wait is always worth it. Parking can vary, but a short walk is rewarded. As a brand new business open for just under 2 months, they are doing a great job keeping up with demand. If not satisfied with an order, give the staff an opportunity to make it right.
