“Delicious, fresh, soft bagels! This place is a must try if you’re looking for fresh bagels. I come here all the time to get a half dozen. They have many flavors, Asiago, jalapeño, everything, garlic, sun dried tomato, sourdough, blueberry, wheat, poppy, coconut; and so many more. They also have tubs of cream cheese you can buy, I tried the chive & onion cream cheese and the Lox (smoked salmon) cream cheese, both SO good!
Once you try these, you can’t go back to store-bought bagels.“

“Came in this morning, First time, My bagel was amazing!! The bread itself was very soft and not hard and chewy like most bagels i’ve had. Very fresh! Also, Sweet young lady working the front was a big bonus! Loved this place! Wish i wasn’t visiting i’d come more often! :)“

“Stopped by late morning after running a few errands and what a fabulous surprise. I had seen listings for The Bagelry for a while now and thankfully stopped by. Greeted warmly by the staff - if not the owner. We chatted a bit and he told me about the selection and their catering. The quality is top notch. Highly recommend the lox a cream cheese also the local high school favorite Turkey Bacon on a cheese bagel. My daughter loved it. Definitely will be back. Support a local business.“

“I tried Einstein Bros for the first time and it’s become my absolute favorite 🤩
I love the avocado, egg and tomato or the bacon avocado. It’s delicious. The hash browns are good too. But alittle small. Coffee could be a bit warmer. But overall I love this place and I think it’s been a great addition to Monterey park. Wish they’d open in the evenings. 😇“

“Everyone without 1 mile radius wants $20+ for assorted dozen. ?! What? ... called $17.99. Has them packed and ready when I arrived. Plus 3 beautiful smiles waiting with A1 customer service. This is the only place I'm going in Buena Park for donuts !!“

“Well, its not THE best anymore, but I still like it. It is a bit pricey for what you get, which is fine if its quality. The iced latte was warm, the bagel was doughy & had just a little piece of soggy bacon. It has always been expensive for a bagel shop, but it use to be small & family operated. I was glad to see it expand, but now miss what it used to be. The drive through is convenient for me. Others complain about the cashless aspect which for me is not an issue… It will not be my go to for coffee & I hope they fix the bagel because the lunch sandwich looked good & I would like to try it sometime. 3.5 stars 🌟 for this location.“

“Super friendly staff. Recent change in ownership, and they are much more attentive and friendly than before. Their breakfast sandwiches and fresh OJ is amazing! ? The donuts are really good, too. I will be back!

“Cleanest donut shop I've been to! Their breakfast sandwiches are good and you get the option of adding different bagel spreads and vegetables which most donut shops don't offer. Their coffee doesn't taste watered down and the donuts are fresh. You might want to call ahead for breakfast sandwiches because they get busy in the morning. They don't sell lottery tickets though. Family who owns the business are very nice and hardworking. Thank you“

“Just a great family-owned shop. They’ve got some of the best donuts I have ever had. I am from San Francisco, and I can tell you, these donuts are better than any I have had in the city. Their sandwiches are a great size, especially for the price. $12 for a hot cup of coffee, huge sandwich with all the fixings, side of hot chilis and a large, perfectly fried glazed donut. I wish this family could have a location everywhere. Best of luck to their business!“

“This is a great place to get fresh and tasty bagels. They always have a great selection of flavors and the staff is friendly.
I enjoyed the self service coffee bar with a selection of some flavored coffee.
The seating is limited so it is not a great place for a large group.“
“The Bottom Line Up Front:
In a world filled with corporations masquerading as sophisticated boutiques, Philz is a growing chain that still retains a cozy atmosphere while serving up great coffee. I've been to other Philz, but this review will focus on this Brea location.
The Drink:
I got the seasonal salted caramel cold brew and it was delicious. Picture Starbucks' caramel macchiato but less sweet and with less acidic espresso. This Philz drink was smooth and creamy, with enough caffeine kick to keep me powered throughout the day.
The Service:
Our barista was very knowledgeable and offered a few suggestions and a couple of samples so that I could make the right selection. Grade A service!
The Setting:
Located in the new section of Brea Mall, this Philz location is a freestanding building so you have to walk outside of the mall to access it from the southwest side. There's no street parking, so you'll need to park in the large parking structure across from Nordstrom (currently...but they are doing more construction so this could change in the future).
The Conclusion:
As part of a franchise that doesn't act like one, the Brea location of Philz offers great coffee with excellent customer service.“
“I ordered ahead...being it was a Sunday morning and will be busy...I arrive there..order was ready...bagel sandwich was good and coffee was good also..I didn't see any public restrooms at this location..so beware...but first time here and overall was a good experience...“
“I don't know about the rest of the day, but at 8:30 in the morning the donuts here are delicate and delicious. Highly recommend the raspberry filled jelly donut. Haven't had one that good since I was a kid. The ladies serving me were very helpful and friendly.“

“Hot crullers at midnight, definitely not mid tier either - I’m not a connoisseur, but I’d drive an hour to go back for more. Nothing wrong with the atmosphere or the service. You want donuts, they put what you ask for in a box, you give them money, they give you the box. The donuts were great and I was sober. It wasn’t a holistic dining experience, but I’m not looking for that when it’s midnight I want to feel bad about my food choices. Would give them 10 stars if I could.“

Had better and I’m salvadorean so I judge a little heavier. lol sorry
