“Delicious, fresh, soft bagels! This place is a must try if you’re looking for fresh bagels. I come here all the time to get a half dozen. They have many flavors, Asiago, jalapeño, everything, garlic, sun dried tomato, sourdough, blueberry, wheat, poppy, coconut; and so many more. They also have tubs of cream cheese you can buy, I tried the chive & onion cream cheese and the Lox (smoked salmon) cream cheese, both SO good!
Once you try these, you can’t go back to store-bought bagels.“

“Came in this morning, First time, My bagel was amazing!! The bread itself was very soft and not hard and chewy like most bagels i’ve had. Very fresh! Also, Sweet young lady working the front was a big bonus! Loved this place! Wish i wasn’t visiting i’d come more often! :)“

“Awesome bagels 🥯 and drinks, salmon is fresh and doesn’t taste fishy. The owner and staffs are all really kind as well. The owner gives you a warm welcome and gives nice suggestions. They are efficient, food comes out quick and tasty. This feels like a cute neighborhood shop filled with great food and kind people. Clean as well!“

“I tried Einstein Bros for the first time and it’s become my absolute favorite 🤩
I love the avocado, egg and tomato or the bacon avocado. It’s delicious. The hash browns are good too. But alittle small. Coffee could be a bit warmer. But overall I love this place and I think it’s been a great addition to Monterey park. Wish they’d open in the evenings. 😇“

“Everyone without 1 mile radius wants $20+ for assorted dozen. ?! What? ... called $17.99. Has them packed and ready when I arrived. Plus 3 beautiful smiles waiting with A1 customer service. This is the only place I'm going in Buena Park for donuts !!“

“Well, its not THE best anymore, but I still like it. It is a bit pricey for what you get, which is fine if its quality. The iced latte was warm, the bagel was doughy & had just a little piece of soggy bacon. It has always been expensive for a bagel shop, but it use to be small & family operated. I was glad to see it expand, but now miss what it used to be. The drive through is convenient for me. Others complain about the cashless aspect which for me is not an issue… It will not be my go to for coffee & I hope they fix the bagel because the lunch sandwich looked good & I would like to try it sometime. 3.5 stars 🌟 for this location.“

“Super friendly staff. Recent change in ownership, and they are much more attentive and friendly than before. Their breakfast sandwiches and fresh OJ is amazing! ? The donuts are really good, too. I will be back!

“Just a great family-owned shop. They’ve got some of the best donuts I have ever had. I am from San Francisco, and I can tell you, these donuts are better than any I have had in the city. Their sandwiches are a great size, especially for the price. $12 for a hot cup of coffee, huge sandwich with all the fixings, side of hot chilis and a large, perfectly fried glazed donut. I wish this family could have a location everywhere. Best of luck to their business!“

“This is a great place to get fresh and tasty bagels. They always have a great selection of flavors and the staff is friendly.
I enjoyed the self service coffee bar with a selection of some flavored coffee.
The seating is limited so it is not a great place for a large group.“

“I had a great day today and it got even better after coming to the establishment! I was greeted nicely by everyone and cashier Valeria took my order quickly and efficiently, yet was attention to detail with it. After my order was done, Jonathan generously served my to-go bag with the extra sauce I needed and went far to ask if I needed drinks to make sure my meal was complete, which yeah I kinda forgot so I did order one... Thanks Jonathan!“
“I don't know about the rest of the day, but at 8:30 in the morning the donuts here are delicate and delicious. Highly recommend the raspberry filled jelly donut. Haven't had one that good since I was a kid. The ladies serving me were very helpful and friendly.“

“I've been coming here after my classes every other day, and it’s always been a pleasant experience. The employees are always nice and willing to cooperate. I've never had one issue at this place.The donuts and sandwiches are really good and worth the price. Highly recommended.“

“Mexes Cafe is a cute, quaint and dainty spot that really eminates with the essence of la familia y tradicion. I appreciate the vibe because it really reminds me of home. The art and the ambience really call to me and I have to give it a high recommendation without even talking about the drinks and food yet. On that note, I had pupusas and two lattes, one of which was a mazapan latte and the other was the horchata latte. I loved the fact that you could choose your own design on the latte. The mazapan latte, literally had such a nostalgic feel because it tastes exactly like the de la rosa candy. As for the horchata latte, you can never go wrong with that. It was very sweet, with that coffee undertone to make a great balance. I genuinely recommend visiting this spot because if you are in the mood for good vibes and good times!“
