She hooked us up with fresh bagels and cream cheese. She even gave us napkins n knives. These bagels were so fresh and delicious. I can’t wait to comeback. They were a hit with the kids. “Plenty of parking and convenience since it’s right on the corner of 2 streets and right next to 405 freeway entrance. Got couple tables & chairs outside for seating, clean, spacious and well set up inside with minimal clean cut decor and high chair seatings. Got a small coffee station. Clear and plenty varies bagel choices. Nice & friendly service. Easy & quick order. Hot pizza with double toasted w/ cream cheese. Bagel is nice and good with pizza flavor. Generous cream cheese filling. Overall nice & tasty bagel with good service.“

“Delicious, fresh, soft bagels! This place is a must try if you’re looking for fresh bagels. I come here all the time to get a half dozen. They have many flavors, Asiago, jalapeño, everything, garlic, sun dried tomato, sourdough, blueberry, wheat, poppy, coconut; and so many more. They also have tubs of cream cheese you can buy, I tried the chive & onion cream cheese and the Lox (smoked salmon) cream cheese, both SO good!
Once you try these, you can’t go back to store-bought bagels.“

“It’s definitely a local place since the staff know the majority of folks walking in the door, asking how are they doing? Their family, works, etc. it makes you warm and homey feeling. Easy parking and the place is clean and bright and spacious with both inside and outside seating. Plenty choices of bagels and morning cake (coffee cake). Plus variety of coffee and smoothies plus fresh squeezed juices. The bagel is soft and delish with great texture outside and toppings. The homemade cream spread is delicious and comes with varies choice of favor. Fantastic service overall. Will definitely comeback for more. Prices wise, decent & affordable.“

“Stopped by late morning after running a few errands and what a fabulous surprise. I had seen listings for The Bagelry for a while now and thankfully stopped by. Greeted warmly by the staff - if not the owner. We chatted a bit and he told me about the selection and their catering. The quality is top notch. Highly recommend the lox a cream cheese also the local high school favorite Turkey Bacon on a cheese bagel. My daughter loved it. Definitely will be back. Support a local business.“

I appreciate the variety of freshly baked bagels, along with a selection of cream cheese flavors. A few favorite items include toasted bagels with lox-flavored cream cheese, breakfast/omelette bagel sandwiches, and the Lox City bagel, which is perfect for hungrier mornings. The hot coffee options are good with your standard creams, sugars, and spices.

The traditional and specialty sandwiches served on a Dutch Crunch roll are also delicious. Additional food items include classic muffins, fresh rolls, croissants, and flavored cream cheeses to take home. The drinks available feature a variety of coffees, juices, smoothies, boba, teas, and more.

“What a great hidden gem in Los Alamitos! I ordered an Americana bagel on jalapeño bread, a hot tea and an iced vanilla chai, everything was delicious. Plus they have ice nugget machine which I prefer instead of the big ice chunks for iced drinks!
The iced vanilla chai was SO good, much much better than its big corporation competitors. I will definitely come again. Both girls behind the counter were very kind and patient and gave me the WiFi password and gave me recommendations. They really made you feel at ease. What a delight to visit, I would certainly recommend this cafe to anyone looking for good prices, good food and yummy drinks!“

“The apple fritter had a Mexican flavor to it, it was surprising but good. My son had a donut twist, my other son had donut holes and they both enjoyed it. We shared a maple old fashioned and it was yummy. We are Spanish speakers and didn’t have a problem ordering. For all that it was $5.40, seems affordable !“

The iced latte was warm, the bagel was doughy & had just a little piece of soggy bacon. It has always been expensive for a bagel shop, but it use to be small & family operated. I was glad to see it expand, but now miss what it used to be. The drive through is convenient for me. Others complain about the cashless aspect which for me is not an issue… It will not be my go to for coffee & I hope they fix the bagel because the lunch sandwich looked good & I would like to try it sometime. 3.5 stars 🌟 for this location.“

“I absolutely love this place! I found Toast & Dough on DoorDash and it’s become my special morning treat. My go to is the Large Vietnamese Coffee & Egg & Cheese Croissant. Occasionally, I’ll switch to the Avocado Egg & Cheese for a $1 more. I have yet to visit in person ( would probably be better for my pocket$), but they do have sort of a “reward” deal with DoorDash, where if you spend $100 then you get a $10 back towards your next order. Keep up the great quality and pricing! Truly a neighborhood gem.“

Price: It’s $13 for a half dozen bagels and I believe $7 for cream cheese as of May 2025.

Vibe/Atmosphere: There is a bit of seating inside and outside, but nothing fancy. There is also a bathroom inside but sign said out of order during my visit.“

“Best ham and egg breakfast sandwich ever! And the ice coffee, forget it. I left there saying “DELICIOUS” When I’m the area I will come here breakfast lunch and dinner. Don’t know if dinner is an option. Lol SO GOOD“

“Oh man, this donut shop is an absolute gem! Stopped by this morning and was blown away by the fluffy, melt-in-your-mouth donuts--every bite was pure bliss. I've had every donut and let me tell you, nostalgic and brings you back to childhood memory lane that just hit all the right spots. The staff was super friendly, hooked me up with a fresh batch, and the vibe in there is so cozy and welcoming. The smoothies are on point too! Honestly, I'm already craving my next visit. Five stars, hands down!

“I have been coming to Grounds Bakery & Cafe since the day they opened. They have some of the best fresh breads and pastries. Such a massive selection. My favorite are the sandwiches. Honestly the best tuna sandwich in the world. And literally, I mean the world- I have tried them everywhere. And their is not single place other then grounds that gets them right and perfect.
