“I don't know about the rest of the day, but at 8:30 in the morning the donuts here are delicate and delicious. Highly recommend the raspberry filled jelly donut. Haven't had one that good since I was a kid. The ladies serving me were very helpful and friendly.“

“Delicious, fresh, soft bagels! This place is a must try if you’re looking for fresh bagels. I come here all the time to get a half dozen. They have many flavors, Asiago, jalapeño, everything, garlic, sun dried tomato, sourdough, blueberry, wheat, poppy, coconut; and so many more. They also have tubs of cream cheese you can buy, I tried the chive & onion cream cheese and the Lox (smoked salmon) cream cheese, both SO good!
Once you try these, you can’t go back to store-bought bagels.“

Greeted warmly by the staff - if not the owner. We chatted a bit and he told me about the selection and their catering. The quality is top notch. Highly recommend the lox a cream cheese also the local high school favorite Turkey Bacon on a cheese bagel. My daughter loved it. Definitely will be back. Support a local business.“

“I tried Einstein Bros for the first time and it’s become my absolute favorite 🤩
I love the avocado, egg and tomato or the bacon avocado. It’s delicious. The hash browns are good too. But alittle small. Coffee could be a bit warmer. But overall I love this place and I think it’s been a great addition to Monterey park. Wish they’d open in the evenings. 😇“

“What a great hidden gem in Los Alamitos! I ordered an Americana bagel on jalapeño bread, a hot tea and an iced vanilla chai, everything was delicious. Plus they have ice nugget machine which I prefer instead of the big ice chunks for iced drinks!
The iced vanilla chai was SO good, much much better than its big corporation competitors. I will definitely come again. Both girls behind the counter were very kind and patient and gave me the WiFi password and gave me recommendations. They really made you feel at ease. What a delight to visit, I would certainly recommend this cafe to anyone looking for good prices, good food and yummy drinks!“

“...and ive been coming here for years now so i guess i keep coming back for a reason. the bagels are always fresh and have that perfect chewy inside with a nice crisp outside just how i like them. service is usually quick even when theres a line which is impressive for sucha small place. had the veggie cream cheese this morning and it was spot on with plenty of real veggies not just a spread. wish they had a little more seating cause sometimes its hard to find a spot to sit and enjoy. i think teh coffee could be a touch stronger but its still decent. defintely my go to spot when im in town“

“I can’t believe this place is still here. I moved from Long Beach over 16 years ago. Back in the late 80s to late 90s my family would go every Friday to the video 1 next door and then pick up some donuts and ham and cheese croissants. Glad it’s still around.“

“Last week my kid and I were in a pinch because we forgot that our weekly park meetup was “ Potluck”. We were so excited to find Einstein Bros and then Karen took amazing care of us. She hooked us up with fresh bagels and cream cheese. She even gave us napkins n knives. These bagels were so fresh and delicious. I can’t wait to comeback. They were a hit with the kids. “I got the donuts and Vietnamese coffee first. Both were delicious and the donuts were soft when we got them and even a day later. Still soft as if it were fresh. I got the croissant sandwich the second time and it was also excellent. The prices aren’t too bad either and it’s supporting a family owned business too. They were really friendly.“

“Well, its not THE best anymore, but I still like it. It is a bit pricey for what you get, which is fine if its quality. The iced latte was warm, the bagel was doughy & had just a little piece of soggy bacon. It has always been expensive for a bagel shop, but it use to be small & family operated. I was glad to see it expand, but now miss what it used to be. The drive through is convenient for me. Others complain about the cashless aspect which for me is not an issue… It will not be my go to for coffee & I hope they fix the bagel because the lunch sandwich looked good & I would like to try it sometime. 3.5 stars 🌟 for this location.“

I enjoyed the self service coffee bar with a selection of some flavored coffee.

“I have been coming to Grounds Bakery & Cafe since the day they opened. They have some of the best fresh breads and pastries. Such a massive selection. My favorite are the sandwiches. Honestly the best tuna sandwich in the world. And literally, I mean the world- I have tried them everywhere. And their is not single place other then grounds that gets them right and perfect.
