“I've been to a lot of donut shops and I've got to say this place is one of my favorites so far. The customer service is fast and friendly. Not to mention they have a wide variety of donuts to choose from which include giant donuts too. My personal favorite is the spicy breakfast croissant so I highly recommend it.“

“If u haven't noticed this little Bakery before.., it is probably bc 1) .. of it's lack of a HUGE sign in the front of the store. 2) ..u are not a 'Local' resident, who knows about it & probably pass it by when driving thru Glendora Ave., from Old Valley Blvd., & the Historic District, to Hacienda Ave. Word up! I like it bc they have been there since who knows when?? ? And they make a variety of the 'typical' bread u will find in many Hispanic Markets.. But? They also make Breads & Pastries that are unique to this Bakery, as well as Tamales, Champurrado, & Deli type sandwiches & breakfast w/ self serve Coffee bar & tables to sit & enjoy ur morning ? Pan y cafecito. Mind u the place is relatively small so there is a line very early, that usually shortens as the day gets later. I highly recommend a visit here when u have the time to relax. Their dac biet is the perfect sandwich and their daikon and carrots are light and bouncy with fresh jalapeno with the right amount of pate and butter. They have it down to perfection, nothing less. Had an open house and served it for homebuyers and they were blown away! Highly recommend! Cafe sua da is gold too, loved the shaved ice in the coffee and not too sweet. The ladies in the back are super sweet and you can buy the baguettes and freeze them, then 350 f for 6 mins in toaster or airfryer. Get the egg rolls, and pa te so is good too. My clients loved their vegetarian banh mi too!

Individual bread pieces are fresh and generously large. Be prepared to buy and freeze some of it to eat. One last hint, right after turning at the handwritten sign, drive on thru all the way to the back. It is the last commercial building at the end. Don’t stop until you see the Melrose deliveries trunks 😉“

I arrived right at closing time on Saturday afternoon, but Denise was so kind and despite the time, she helped me out by decorating a cake for my girlfriend's birthday. “Stumbled on this Mexican bakery while in Norwalk but glad I did! I’ve had pan Dulce from soooo many different places but the BEST is here (tasty, soft, fresh) … not to mention the cleanliness of the shop. Definitely 5 stars!!! Parking can be a bit challenging but people go in and out so you will not be waiting too long and don’t forget to bring cash - cash only. Will definitely come back!!“

“This is my go-to spot for a fresh bowl — Los Compadres Pan is one of the best bakeries around Pico Rivera! Their bread is always excellent, and the sweet bread is amazing too. Their manjar (filling) is hands down the best in the area. The prices are so good you could count the amount you spend on two hands. Definitely worth checking out if you love quality and flavor!
