The same people have owned this spot for years and if you don't get here early enough you'll miss out on the small concha's. You can't just have one they're so delicious!!! “These are the places I really get excited about on paper. Mom and pop type place in a strip mall. Folks here are friendly, but I will say there's a language barrier if you don't speak Spanish. I think I knew enough to get by.In terms of food, I thought it was OK to good. I actually would think this place is more 3 1/2 stars but I'm rounding up because Unless a place really deserves it I don't wanna ding the score of a mom / pop type place. Also, I ordered a plate here which might not be their specialty. They look to be more of a bakery, so maybe their breads are better or their sandwiches? I'm not sure. I got a taco and enchilada plate with rice and beans. It tasted good nothing crazy. I'm thinking I should probably come back and try their tamales or tortas, or some coffee and baked goods in the morning.“
“This place is awesome! Not sure about the few negative reviews here cause nothing negative said adds up. I’ve been in AZ for a lil over 20yrs but grew up on pan dulce in LA before moving out there. Walking into this place brought back all those memories and the pan didn’t disappoint! We went back for more the following day! Highly recommend. Sure there’s a few other options but if you are nearby don’t give it too much thought. Just go get some.“
