“I ordered a flat white like an hour ago.

In my opinion what makes this spot good is the type of coffee you get. Im no coffee expert but the taste you get is what I call "classic". That straight up coffee taste you know and love. Everywhere else I go tend to favor the more funky natural process coffees. I love a good funky espresso. But to find this flavor profile in a coffee shop around here, or in LA in general is pretty uncommon.

“This is a great bagel and coffee shop. I work in the complex and we all pick up food here often. The bagels and big, soft and fresh and they are almost always very generous with the cream cheese (which I really love).I also like their bagel sandwiches, the lattes - blended or hot - and the bagel bombs too. In all honesty, I haven’t had anything there I don’t like.Other bonus perks: a rewards program that lets you earn free items and a kid’s corner to keep the little ones entertained!

Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie options, and vegan cream cheese too

“very crowded on the weekends, but worth the wait to park and to get through the lines. The staff is great, they keep the lines moving fast and when it’s your turn at the counter they will take their time with you making your selections. Best of all everything we have had so far has been delicious and the best prices for fresh-baked goods anywhere around. The cheese rolls, refugiados, and breakfast empanadas are especially good! They warmed what we wanted to eat right away even though our whole order was to-go. They have a separate line to order espresso drinks that are also very good. Will always make a point to stop by when we are in the area!“

“If this is not the best banh mi in all of Sgv and Oc, I don’t know of any place that can beat them. All cash by the way so come prepared. Their dac biet is the perfect sandwich and their daikon and carrots are light and bouncy with fresh jalapeno with the right amount of pate and butter. They have it down to perfection, nothing less. Had an open house and served it for homebuyers and they were blown away! Highly recommend! Cafe sua da is gold too, loved the shaved ice in the coffee and not too sweet. The ladies in the back are super sweet and you can buy the baguettes and freeze them, then 350 f for 6 mins in toaster or airfryer. Get the egg rolls, and pa te so is good too. My clients loved their vegetarian banh mi too!

Vegetarian options: Just get he vegetarian banh mi! Only vegetarian thing to get or just plain baguettes! It will be worth it!“

“The cookies are always great. The employees sometimes stand around and ignore customers that need help using the touchscreen order pad. I have witnessed older people walk in, not know how to use the touch screen device, and employees just watch them struggle. Other than that everything is great.“

“So yummy. These cookies are rich and soft. With a change in the weekly line up, it feels like there is always something new to try. We love that they are big enough to cut up and share, so the whole family gets to try each flavor we pick. The staff was friendly. The cashier taking our order asked if we had an allergies (we don’t, but nice to know they care) The store was clean and the open floor plan allows you to see the staff making the cookies in back.“

“This is definitely in our top 3 go-to bakeries! You really can't go wrong with any of the goodies you select. My absolute favorite flavor is the salted caramel toffee - if you haven't tried it, you really need to!

Their cookies are really good too. My son's favorite cookie is the sprinkle cookie with the cake pop in the middle.

They also have boozy cupcakes - but we have never tried one before but I'm sure they are good.

And if you have a really special occasion coming up, it may cost a little more to get a cake from here, but it will be TOTALLY worth it! Each time we have gotten a Hapa cake for a special occasion/party - I can't tell you how many people will compliment you in how delicious the cake is and will be asking where it's from. We even had Hapa do my son's wedding cake, and people are still commenting on how delicious their cake was!!!! (*And the wedding was 2 years ago)

You can definitely schedule a cake tasting - I can't remember how much it was - but what I would suggest is that you just buy some cupcakes in the flavors you think you'd like, and do the tasting in the comfort of your own home. I believe that any of their cupcakes can be made into a cake.

“The mini conchas are my favourite, I don't like conchas unless they're from this bakery. The polvorones, cinnamon raisin rolls, pink jelly coconut roll, and the mini cookies with sprinkles are my favourites here. The prices have been raised for the filled breads but it's better compared to other places. The place looks like it's kept clean and well maintained. The only bad thing about coming here are the homeless people asking for money all the time. + There's very limited parking sometimes it'll be empty and the next second it'll be full. The staff are super friendly and fast.“

I got the ice Pumpkin Chai Latte and creme brulee. Dhamar made sure to ask if I preferred whole milk or a non-dairy option which I really appreciated. “I surprised my teenage daughter with a visit here during our recent vacation. She was diagnosed with celiac when she was 6 so doesn't remember what its like being able to eat normally. I was diagnosed in my 30's so I remember! When we walked in and I told her she could pick anything she wants, its all gluten free, she was speechless and on the verge of tears. One of us is also lactose intolerant so there were clearly labeled choices for him too. We left with eclairs, animal cookies, chocolate bundt cakes, and brioche buns, and will bring a cooler full of dry ice to stock up the next time we are back in California. Yes, its spendy, but welcome to gluten free life. It was worth it to not worry about getting sick! We will be back EVERY time we visit the state! We got 4 treats and a 2 pack of brioche buns, and that was $36 for reference.“
