My family have been getting sausage egg and cheese croissant sandwiches and don’t for over 20 years. The flour is what makes their donuts so yummy. Try another donut shop and you’ll see what I mean. They use more expensive ingredients which makes their donuts so good. A lot of customers don’t like the prices, but you get what you pay for and AK’s donuts is the best around and so is their coffee.
I've had a lot of apple fritters from around the country, and this place has maybe the best I've ever had. Even late in the day these things are huge, fresh, and a great value. Coffee is good too!
