“This place is an amazing brunch spot. I took my gf out to this restaurant and we both loved it. I had an amazing experience from beginning to end. We arrived at the place around 11:30 am and we quickly found parking. Upon arriving we were nicely greeted by the hostess in a polite manner and with a smile, then we were told that the wait time would be around 10 min, which ended up feeling less than that. We were seated and our waiter, Mike came to our table to take our drink orders. The drinks came fast and the food as well when we ended up ordering our food. Fast service, and very polite workers. The restrooms were very nice and clean. The ambiance was phenomenal, everything was aesthetically pleasing, homey, peaceful, and quiet. I felt like I could have a nice conversation with my gf and it would still be private. Ahhhh, and most importantly, the food did not disappoint. I got Brioche French toast w/ egg and country potatoes and I loved them, it was delicious, the portions were perfect. My gf got a pesto chicken sandwich which she loved. To drink I got a hot chocolate which was delicious and my gf got a hazelnut coffee. The total was 46.48 which I thought was reasonable, not too expensive. Just about the same cost of going to Denny’s. Overall a great experience, and a great spot to get brunch, I highly recommend it, and I give it a 10/10. “This past weekend, we threw a baby sprinkle to welcome the arrival of our son and it was a last minute plan. I reached out to Sugar from the Heart about two weeks before the event they were able to accommodate our order. The ordering process was via email correspondence, but it was super simple - I sent over inspiration pictures and let them know what flavors I wanted and they did their thing!The cake came out beautifully and it was delicious - they went above and beyond! We ordered a blue velvet cake with cream cheese and blueberry filling (I didn't get a photo of the actual cake, but it was immaculately stacked and filled). The cake was super moist, the cream cheese frosting was yummy, and the blueberries were sweet and plump! I couldn't have asked for a more perfect cake - it got rave reviews from our guests and family at the event!With all that said, I would completely recommend Sugar from the Heart to friends, family, and fellow Yelp users and I will definitely be ordering from them again in the near future! She was not available on our wedding date and I was really sad about it but she suggested I have the cake delivered the day before. It was so great of her to fit me in and work with me to make sure I got the best damn cake for my wedding. I wasn't sure I wanted a cake but when she sent me samples I literally wanted to have a 6 tier cake so we didn't have to choose. It was some of the best cake I have ever tried! All were amazing. “I have not actually been to their storefront, however I did have the opportunity to try their Bundt cake at our semi annual street fair in Carlsbad. It was the end of the fair, and most all of their Bundt cakes were packed up in clear totes. When we walked by, I commented to my daughter how good they all looked. My daughter got pretty excited and they were kind enough to help out with one last cinnamon sugar churro Bundt cake. It was just before dinner so we took it to go for after dinner. We actually warmed it up and it was amazing. I wish I had some ice cream to go with it! Only bummer is I guess we will have to wait another 6 months to try them again! Obviously the name is a little...uh...unusual but when you walk in its clearly a coffee shop with food. Big interior with plenty of space to sit. Eclectic, Korean influenced drink menu. My cappuccino was very good. Some exotic Korean pastries, a sausage embedded croissant(pictured) and like savory cheese buns? I would need to be in a mood for one of those. “Boysenberry Festival at Knotts' is delicious. This bakery has many choices of boysenberry treats such as pies, cookies, lemon bars, turnovers, bung cakes and more. Really hard to choose from cause they all look so good. I purchased a slice of boysenberry pie and it was delicious. I tried to get an iced coffee with it but they didn't have any. They do serve hot coffee drinks if you need a coffee break. The ambiance here is nice, lots of outdoor seating right by the Ghost Rider roller coaster.
