Dim sum was okay. It took forever for one of the carts to make it to my table. The food doesn't taste as greasy as other places. I tried the drink they were selling on their cart, which tasted pretty good.
The place was packed and looks a bit run down.

Good dim sum, friendly service
I miss their old location with its great views of the San Gabriel Mtns...this new location on the first floor of the Hilton....kinda looks like a pop-up, temporary squat but it's not. So no view no ambiance (not elegant no Asian decor or any decor for that matter definitely no frills...just two huge TV screens, great for watching sports....in a huge ballroom. But...forget the non ambiance, the food is still bomb diggity.....and the reason for the happy diners...one of the best...read full review

Five Star Seafood Restaurant is a dim sum spot with good food. The dining hall is large, reminiscent of those found in Hong Kong, and is popular among Chinese locals. The menu offers a variety of dim sum options, including chicken feet, sticky rice with sausage and meat, tofu wrap, and har gaw, which are generally well-received. However, the siomai has been inconsistent and sometimes disappointing. The restaurant is dated, and the furniture, flooring, and more need to be updated, cleaned, or just replaced. The fried seafood rolls were a bit empty. The waiters are little careless and they don’t speak English mostly. Otherwise their food taste great.
