“A deliciously sweet addition to grace the blossom hall food hall! Ish's signature pies, breads, expresso buns, cookies, cakes, are always in small batches, and has something new and in season everytime I stop by! You can taste the love and passion of these modern Filipino inspired desserts that anyone can enjoy. I will say the pies are a must!
I've liked everything so far, and though the price may be a bit steep for some, know that you are supporting a small bakery with big taste! A friend introduced me to his decadent desserts, and I've been hooked since!
I strongly suggest following the Ish Instagram page (bakingwithish) to see the latest updates and any new flavors he's concocted. They close relatively early, or until they sell out, so come early, grab a sweet bite, and be delighted!!“

“I attended a kids' birthday party and they had the most delicious cake ever. It was chocolate with a fresh strawberry center. The chocolate cake was so moist. The icing was light and delicate. This cake was talked about with everyone. We kept saying, "it's not too sweet," which is the best compliment you can say for a cake. I wasn't the one that purchased the cake but I definitely will now after this.“

“We needed a birthday cake on short notice, and thankfully, Patisserie Too had a 5” mango cake available. They also had a wide variety of personal size cakes in adorable animal themes (rabbit, dog, pig, penguin, and Hello Kitty). Our party really enjoyed the mango cake - it was the perfect sweetness level and full of flavor. Sweet enough to taste like a dessert but not overwhelmingly sugary. I was pleasantly surprised to find a slice of mango inside the cake. The mango texture was a fun contrast to its soft cake-y surroundings. The entire cake sat on top of a cookie base (shortbread cookie?), and the crunchiness of the cookie also enhanced the range of textures in this dessert!
The cakes were also well packaged. They taped down the personal size cakes we bought so that they wouldn’t slide around inside the box. This attention to detail and their friendly and helpful service overall made this a really pleasant shopping experience!“

“They have a great assortment of baked goods but I love coming here for their mango cake! You can get cakes by the slice or order a whole cake. Customer service is also good and I would recommend anyone to stop by to try out some of their pastries.

“This place used to be a lot better when they first opened. They still have the same owner, so I am not sure what the reason for lower quality is. My dad is a huge bread fanatic and he swears by Saigon's. They also sell other Vietnamese food like spring and egg rolls.I've tried every sandwich on the menu. They also have croissants. Saigon's gio lua (Vietnamese sausage) is the best. We usually buy some bread, get a gio lua and just eat it with pate and mayo at home. (I recommend adding extra eggs and cucumber/carrot mix if extra hungry).“

“This is my new favorite place to stop by when I'm in town. Very clean and the variety can easily hit almost anyone's taste buds.
Love that they have a reward system and that they show prices on everything.
My favorites are the quiche and croissants!

“The original Happy Bakery was on Valley and 9th St. in Alhambra.I started going from 1990 - 2004. I moved away from Alhambra in 2004 to Los Angeles. I used to walk 1 minute to Happy Bakery to buy their custard tarts. I finally found them again in 2019 and have been going back for their custard tart. The custard tart is one of the best. Last year, I ordered a mango cake from them. It was delicious. The cream frosting was not too sweet and the cake was moist. The employees are all very nice. The price is not too expensive. Service is fast and accurate. Lots of parking on the street.“

“first time to try this family-own bakery and i was not disappointed. tried one of their specialties Taro cake. and oh my me, i cannot. IT WAS SO GOOD! there are chunks of real taro and the flavor is so subtle, it was perfect. and the sponge?! what sponge, it was cloud. need i say more? the entire profile is very nostalgic, reminds me of the traditional bakeries in Hong Kong. nothing too overly sweet. their other specialty is the crispy cake. which is on my list to will try next!“

“There are a lot of traditional Taiwanese breads inside, which really brings back memories of my childhood, but the two clerks felt awkward standing there... I don’t know how to describe it, but the price of the bread is very good, and I will come again.“
