“Paul is very nice and made me feel so welcomed! He remembered me even though I've only been there once. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations. If I recall correctly, he said that the strawberry cake ball, coffee cake, and a few others were popular picks. There is only outdoor sidewalk seating (a total of 3 small tables with 2 seats each). The interior is tiny, and it carries the feel of a quick in-and-out pickup store. It's also right across the street from Pasadena's Central Park if you're looking for a stroll while you eat. It's very transit-accessible. It's a 5 minute walk from the A line Del Mar station. death by chocolate cookie ($3.85) - It's just a typical double chocolate cookie! It's a little gritty and dry (maybe it's gluten free?) but still delicious nonetheless. coffee cake ($5.88) - sweet, with a flavor of cinnamon (not in an overpowering way). If you enjoy coffee cake, definitely get this, as vegan coffee cake is a rarity in Pasadena and LA. ice cream sandwich ($9.25) - honestly, i think this was a little too sweet for me. The ice cream itself was plain vanilla soft serve, but when sandwiched by two entire chocolate chip cookies, I think the sweetness can be overpowering. Keep in mind that it also melts very fast (since it has the consistency of soft serve) and this makes it hard to keep the whole sandwich in shape. If you do not plan to eat it right away, I would not recommend getting this as it'll melt in a mere minute.“

The earl grey morning bun also a top contender with a strong enough earl grey flavor that was delectably enveloped in the flaky pastry. Cinnamon roll croissant was not too sweet and the center was the best bite! The french onion soup danish was good and tasted even better when warmed up at home. They should offer that option in store because it makes all the difference! Personally, as an almond croissant lover, I found the filling to be a little too sweet and leaned heavily on an almond extract flavor/aroma. They have always had delicious Mexican bread, pastries, and cakes...now they have added tamales (if you're lucky enough to get them). It's light, not too sweet Percy texture and so delicious. They have the original , matcha , strawberry and Oreo flavors. You can either one flavor or a set of all 4.

The taro snowflakes is a must try, creamy taro sponge cake made with real taro.

This shop is clean, cutesy and is family owned and I was helped by the owner's mom, she's super nice lady, the owner makes all the cakes.

“I absolutely LOVED (!!!!!!!!) my keto and sugar-free cake from Valentine Sweets.

First, the cake was absolutely PERFECT when my friend picked it up. Any minor frosting imperfections in these photos happened a few days later after pickup when it was not eaten right away and are completely my fault.

The cake is sweetened with monk fruit and has no grains. It tasted genuinely delicious, like classic birthday cake from my childhood. As someone on a long gut-healing journey with a lot of dietary restrictions, this felt like a dream come true. Also, no artificial food dye! Swoon!!!!

My friends without dietary restrictions loved it too, so it is not just me saying this. Also truly the prettiest birthday cake I have ever had.

“Honestly, I’ve driven past this place so many times and never noticed it until we stopped to shop at Super A next door. It’s a super unassuming, small bakery, but it’s clearly a local favorite because it was pretty busy when we walked in!

They specialize in sponge cakes, and the shelves are fully stocked with all different kinds. We tried a few things, but the standout was definitely the Grenade Cake. It’s got this great crispy top that gives it a nice texture which is definitely unique.

We also picked up an ube sponge cake. It was incredibly fluffy and light, and the flavor was spot on. They have a bunch of different flavors to choose from if ube isn't your thing.

“Honestly, it's Baskin Robbins. You really can't go wrong. I've seen some of the 1 and 2 star reviews, and I just don't agree with them at all. I've been here plenty of times, and they've never disappointed me. The customer service has always been really good. The staff actually takes the time to help you with your order instead of rushing you. They also recently remodeled the place, so everything looks clean and updated. If you haven't been here in a while, or at all, I'd definitely recommend stopping by and checking it out for yourself.“

“Baskin-Robbins is premium ice cream and is more expensive, but it worth it. The serving size is a generous scoop every time. The service is very friendly and helpful. They even offered water to a customer that was coughing and we were impressed with the concern the server had.
