“I am so confused by these reviews regarding the owner. I received nothing but the best from Leslie. She was not available on our wedding date and I was really sad about it but she suggested I have the cake delivered the day before. It was so great of her to fit me in and work with me to make sure I got the best damn cake for my wedding. I wasn't sure I wanted a cake but when she sent me samples I literally wanted to have a 6 tier cake so we didn't have to choose. It was some of the best cake I have ever tried! All were amazing. We went for banana creme and coconut passion fruit which were BEYOND. So sad she doesn't have a store front anymore! Will definitely be ordering cake for every anniversary if she will let us!“

The people took my order and I got the can't the next day with a $5 discount to boot! Tastes wonderful and my friends loved it too. If you're parking be careful though. “Google searched and found this Baskin Robbins. It was very easy to find and had plenty of parking. Our server Pauline was pleasant and helpful. She gave us her thoughts on a few flavors we were considering and offered us samples too! The wild n reckless sherbert was what my husband decided to go with, it has a sweet and sour kick! If that's what you're going for, give this flavor a try. The place was very clean and not crowded. I've now got a Pasadena Baskin Robbins location to visit when I'm in town. “We are very happy with our two-tier 8" + 10" Pink Pearls And Roses wedding cake. We had purchased a cake for $80 from Sweet Oak because the baker didn't offer samples. We tried to work with her to make modifications but that didn't work out, so we tried Lark Cake Shop because they offered free samples. John allowed us to sample as many flavors as we liked in the form of cupcakes which we picked up in their Silver Lake location. We learned that it truly pays to go with a baker that offers free samples. He said the bottom tier could be different from the top tier so we chose mocha as the bottom tier and berry shortcake as the top tier. The only frosting available was Italian buttercream, which luckily was our favorite. The cake was moist and the frosting was not too sweet; it was delicious and memorable.“

For 2 milk tea bobas it was $11.They specialize in custom cakes and had a few on display that were mind blowing. “Ordered the 12" Square famous Strawberry Whipped Crème cake for our monthly office birthday celebrations-- and it was a total hit for 40 sweet tooth employees (serves up to 50 I think). Very fresh and sweet fruits and the whipped crème was light and delicious. Cake also moist and just a touch of sweet. Easy to cut but it's a very tall cake so needed help to keep the slices in tact haha I was in awe watching the owner (?) freestyle write a birthday message on the cake with such ease. Very kind staff (even made sure we wanted the nuts on the outside out of concern for any food allergies). Would order again for sure and look forward to trying more of their confections!“
“I placed an order for my daughter's baby shower 4 days before the shower date. I was worried about being able to get a cake ordered in such a short time frame. I looked to Yelp as I always do to find a cake shop to rescue me. And I am glad that I came upon cake sisters. The whole experience from ordering to the final cake was amazing. I was able to explain over the phone what I wanted and followed up with an email. They executed my order flawlessly. The cake was stunning, and the flavor was delicious. I ordered vanilla cake with buttercream frosting and a Bavarian cream and pineapple filling. I described the cake that I wanted and it looked and tasted as if I had made it for myself. They were so spot on. It was soooo pretty. Especially the little edible shoes that they made. Although I did get a few pics, I didn't get any really good ones, but they took some before I'd picked it up. I hope they post it.“

Besides the texture being a bit on the hard side the small cakes were sweet goodness. Overall it's pretty good especially for El Monte. 4 small cakes totaled about $7, not too shabby.“
