Ice cream is so good . As well as their vegan burger
Staff was so kind and helpful! They were very clear that the ice cream is NOT vegan, though, so if you’re vegan they have fruit smoothies and savory fried food. :)
I drove by recently and thought this place had closed, which made me sad another small business gone, or so I thought. My nephew asked about the ice cream spot we usually park and walk to, so I drove by to show him it was closed. To our surprise, it was actually open!

Covina Tasty is a popular spot for affordable vegan burgers, sandwiches, and fries. They also serve vegan desserts, ice cream, and milkshakes. Customers often recommend trying the double vegan burger with vegan cheese, fries, and the vegan strawberry shake. Many have enjoyed the vegan burger and regular fries, describing them as very good and wanting to order more. The friendly staff, like Anais, are known for providing excellent service and helpful suggestions for first-time visitors. However, the restaurant has experienced some issues, such as inconsistent hours, the food section not always being available, and the milkshake machine sometimes not working. Additionally, the outside appearance can be a bit dirty, and there have been concerns about whether the restaurant is still open. Despite these challenges, many still find the vegan food delicious and worth revisiting when open.
