“Was a perfectly fine boba place. We had the coconut based drinks, osmanthus and jasmine, with cheese foam. The osmanthus is more fragrant, perfect at 75% sweet. The jasmine probably needed 100% sweetness because it was a bit lighter in taste.

It’s honestly better tasting and more balanced than coffee - which I'm not a regular drinker of.

I was so impressed that I started going directly to the store to fill my growler and ended up buying bottled yerba mate for myself and friends. Every time I go in, the staff is warm, friendly, and happy to chat. I usually ask whoever’s working to make me their favorite blend, and it’s always fantastic. Consistently cold, crisp, and refreshing. That's why I've enjoyed trying so many flavors!

A friend of mine said he ended up buying a growler from them at the Atwater farmers market on Sundays. He's also hooked!

Parking is easy, which is rare in LA, and I love that it’s right around the corner from the ReStore—perfect excuse to hunt for good deals after grabbing a drink. The owners, Tiffany and Juan, are genuinely kind, welcoming people, and it shows in how the place is run.

I've brought bottles to parties and events for people who don't want an adult beverage and people were SO APPRECIATIVE!

I really hope they expand their food options soon—I love the empanadas and the sauces and would happily eat more there. This place is a gem and a regular stop for me now.

The sweetest owner patiently walked us through all the flavors and even brewed fresh samples 🥰 it felt like a mini tea adventure. Took home a bag of hojicha , and absolutely delicious! “lovely tea shop! their drinks are cheap and are very tasty. they have lots of seating space, so it is perfect for studying or just hanging out. staff are friendly. do be warned that on weekdays around 3-5 pm a bunch of students come from the nearby high school, so it gets really busy and crowded around that time.“

“After dinner nearby, we knew we wanted boba afterwards and purposely saved room for it! R&B Tea was on the opposite end of the plaza, which worked out as we worked off a little bit of dinner by walking here.

I ordered a jasmine green milk tea ($5.75) at 50% sweet with easy ice and boba ($0.75). Just the right amount of sugar with the right consistency for the boba. Would definitely order again (and also possibly try their matcha milk tea or roasted oolong milk tea). Post-dinner boba craving met! Thanks Tiffany for taking care of our large group order!

They have two small tables in the front and more table space in the back for hanging out and playing board games. We picked The Logo Game and learned new facts about products and logos and what not from the game. Did you know that Baskin Robbins had 31 flavors particular to cover each day of the month? I didn't, until the game. Fun times.

“Checked out this Taiwanese tea spot in San Gabriel and it’s got a really old-school, traditional vibe (in a good way). They’ve got classic snacks like egg waffles (雞蛋糕) and wheel cakes (車輪餅), plus a solid lineup of traditional Taiwanese teas.

You can still add toppings to your drinks, but the flavors lean more classic—not super trendy or overly sweet. If you’re into that OG Taiwan taste, you’ll probably like it. Prices are pretty reasonable too.

The shop is tiny though, so it’s basically a grab-and-go spot. Also, parking can be kind of a pain around there, so just be prepared.

“Very good quality! I really liked the Bubble Volcano. The barista named Odelia, was very respectful, friendly, and super cute. She’s such a hard worker and really puts effort into making sure everything is done right and that customers have a great experience. She was very welcoming, patient, and attentive while taking my order, and you can tell she genuinely cares about providing good service. Her positive attitude made the experience even better. First dont get boba. Dont know why they never do boba good. Theres other amazing toppings like the mochi that I would personally choose.

Second always ALWAYS order online. Waits up to an hour sometimes and its important to order online so you can just go in and pick up. Everyone else also orders online too.
