“Within the Shops at Santa Anita, so huge parking space and you could swing by while shopping or grabbing foods. The store was relatively quiet on Sunday noon, but the variety of items they carried was pretty complete and came at reasonable price.

We got Tolak Angin, herbal drink from Indonesia, which was pretty hard to get here in US at decent price. Checkout process went seamless and swift with friendly attentive attendant.“

“Rose Tree Cottage is a place I cannot compare anywhere else to, it is unique in every positive way.

Not only are the culinary delights delicious (we enjoyed the cream tea service), but what truly made the biggest impact was our host, Sir Edmund (owner). His kindness toward our party was so attentive, and he taught us tea etiquette along the way. He goes out of his way to ensure all guests feel welcome and cared for, and the other staff were also very friendly and attentive.

I especially appreciate the no cellphone rule indoors so we can enjoy a lovely time with friends in the moment without distractions. Supporting Rose Tree Cottage also supports a charity which helps children in Kenya receive education and financial resources.

“Ordered a pineapple oolong tea with 25% sweetness but it was still just as sweet as honey. I asked the employee to remake it and he suggested doing zero percent sweetness level. The new drink tasted perfect because the pineapple jams sweetness balanced the zero sugar tea. I also tried my friends traditional milk tea with no sweetness adjusted and it was delicious. The drink itself wasn't too sweet and milk tasted like soymilk. I would definitely come back if I'm in the area.“

“I was doing a happy return nearby, and Ulta ran out of boxes to do returns and it’s over 100 degrees out today. So gotcha tea is right next door, and it was empty but clean and well air conditioned. The staff was quick with making my drink. It’s been awhile since I’ve gotten tea here but honestly a great place if you just want a quick sweet treat. I got a mango green tea 75% sweet with reg ice and rainbow jelly, could have done 50% but loved the drink. Usually hate when I can’t taste the tea for flavored teas but it was perfect today.“

“Booked a tea tasting with Imen through her online website with a friend. We both did the Chao zhou style which is so unique! As an avid tea drinker, I don't come across the chao zhou brewing method often so it was such a unique experience. My friend flew in from Philadelphia for this! Imen is highly reputable as a tea master in the Los Angeles area and popular for her Phoenix Oolong Tea. I originally found her through the Reddit and was so excited to get an appointment with her. We bought so many teas after. Highly recommend for an authentic gong fu tea tasting and experience!! I will be back to try her other tea classes and workshops.“

Judy and Lilly went above and beyond helping me find some amazing teas. The selection is incredible, and I also found some beautiful teaware to bring home.

What really impressed me was the service. Judy carefully checked everything I purchased to make sure there were no flaws and helped pack everything securely for my six-hour drive back home. The entire staff was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely sweet.

They also convinced me to get a membership, and I ended up saving quite a bit of money! I even tried to tip Judy and Lilly for all their help, but they both politely refused and said, “It’s our job.” True professionals who really care about their customers.

“I had a Phoenix Oolong Milk Tea with no ice and level 1 (of 5) sweetness. I really enjoy freshly brewed milk tea (freshly brewed after order is placed) compared to milk tea prepared with tea that was brewed well in advance, had been sitting on the shelf for who knows how long, and used only after the order is placed. I definitely recommend to try their boba tea.“

The prices though, are also higher than most other places. I paid $24 for 3 drinks, one of which was $8.65 (the popcorn milk tea with brown sugar tapiochi).
The drinks are good and the flavors can’t be found most other places, but I don’t personally think they’re over $8 worth it

“I've been coming to the Pasadena Chado Tea Room every few months for the past two years. It is in a nice location in Old Town. The service is attentive and the ambiance is very nice. I think it's a good value for the money and one of the lesser expensive afternoon tea venues around. You get a full tea service including scones, finger sandwiches and little desserts. I do have to say that the food is “ok” - the chicken sandwich has been dry on my last two visits. I haven't been blown away by the taste of the food. But if you want to do tea on a budget, this is a good choice and a pleasant experience.“

I ordered the strawberry slush but removed the ice cream. It comes with boba and u can choose which one using the substitution. Adding a topping is $0.85 per topping if its boba and more for other toppings. I had mango boba, which is only available on weekends and fridays. The boba is pretty good and freshly made, although the quality can sometimes vary. The mango boba tastes actually like mango and isn't simply just a coloring or very light, unlike some places with flavored boba.
In terms of the drink itself, it is one of the best strawberry slushes I've ever had, with the flavor tasting authentic. Since it's blended, there are some smaller ice bits that aren't fully slush-consistency, but apart from that, I'd definitely recommend this drink for those who like strawberry or fruit.
The one issue I have is that on the kiosk, the prices shown when selecting drinks don't include tax and only show them when u checkout, which can be annoying since many other stores do include tax when showing product prices. Because of that, the drinks can be somewhat pricey compared to other places, but on the plus side, the quality is amazing.“

“First time at Formosa Aroma. I was satisfied with the drinks we ordered and it’s a nice place with reasonable prices.

We ordered a fruit tea, and two milk teas with the tri-flavor taro balls and boba.

The teas were good quality. The sweetness seemed a bit off. The fruit tea at 30% seemed sweeter than expected and the milk tea at 50% seemed not as sweet. However, this is subjective.

The service was excellent and the was friendly and helpful.

The interior had lots of natural light, ample seating and was clean with a relaxing environment.

The menus were large and easy to read and the prices appeared in line with other places.

“A small tea shop hidden in a corner of a plaza and a busy SGV. A spot that's been around for a long time and pretty consistent today. Recently my partner and I visited for their Mango Pomelo Sago BOGO and the order was ready pretty quickly. Interior is clean and staff was friendly. Easy pickup and go.

Similar to most Yi Fang locations, there's essentially no seating inside besides one bench and that's basically it. This location as a self ordering kiosk which is always a nice sight to see.

Drinks wise, I've tried many but my favorite is for sure their milk tea series, even though they're known for their fruit tea series, I find their milk teas to be very consistent as well. Their menu is extensive which can be a bit offsetting for you to pick your drink but I think it's a good part of their shop as they practically have every type of drink you want to order, from fruit teas, milk teas, cheese foams, etc.“

“Out of all the 3CATEA spots, this is one of my favorites. What used to be Bambu is now 3CATEA. This shop has moderate size compared to the others with plenty of seating inside. The decorations inside are very cute and nice vibes overall. Plus points for self ordering kiosks to avoid long wait times as this shop gets busy very often. Ordering online via Snackpass is highly recommended as well.

Parking can be found in the rear lot, street parking, and curbside parking is available as well.
| love this spot specifically, very quick with orders, friendly staff, and drinks are pretty great here. I have plenty of go to drinks here but the stand out is definitely the Osmanthus Oolong Milk Tea. It's super refreshing, and a drink that I always prefer whenever I can't decide on other choices.

This spot is very cute overall, very modern and easy to order. Perfect grab and go type boba shop, no complaints overall and one of my top spots around SGV.“

“I love 3Catea and been to all their locations. This specific spot is not the best compared to the others. Although the biggest of all the locations, plenty of seating by the wall, available restrooms, and spacious area are the pros, the cons is mainly due to the wait times. The amount of times I had to wait over 30 minutes for 1-2 drinks is pretty insane.
When it's busy I understand, but when there's not much orders and yet the orders take a long time is a bit unacceptable. There's also no explanation from the staff even though there's a TV that shows the progress of the order.

Drinks here are good quality. Of all the drinks Ive tried here, the old Oreo Brulee was spectacular. The oreo sprinkles along with the creme brulee on top was one of the best drinks made ever. A shame that they discontinued it but occasionally, they'll bring back returning drinks with a discount promotion which is pretty nice.

Overall, a decent shop that's a hot place for people to hangout at, could use some improvements in their delivery of getting orders out but besides that, high quality overall.“
