“Cute lounge spot. Would be nice to come with a friend and play some games while we catch up over boba. Didnt try the food so not sure how it is but the cookies are huge! They have smoothie bowls and treats to grab on the go. Tried the caramel toffee milk tea, I haven't tried it yet, and I must say I do like it. I love a caramel, and there's just enough in here without it being too sweet. It's mixed well.“

Here’s what I tried:

Osmantheous Oolong Milk Tea with Boba (less sugar, less ice): This was fantastic! The tea-forward flavor was exactly how I like my milk tea, and the boba had just the right texture—not too chewy and not overly sweet. I’d definitely order this again.

Strawberry Oolong Tea (less sugar, less ice): A little on the sweeter side for my taste, but still a great deal at just $2.99.

To my surprise, they were running a buy-two-get-one-free special during Christmas week! The third drink that was part of the promotion was an Iced Strawberry Matcha, which was quite sweet but still a nice addition to the experience.

“Randomly found this gem while looking for after school snacks. What a find!!! They have a tropical smoothie thats actually a halo halo smoothie! The owner and cashier were also super friendly. I know where to get my halo halo fix in the area.“

“Surprisingly spacious inside! They do have a rear lot, but street parking is probably your best bet. It’s definitely more of a social hangout than a quiet study spot, but the layout works well. “Best Honey Green tea in all Southern CA. Actually, better than the ones in Taiwan. They spare no cost in using only the best quality tea and ingredients. Once you tried theirs, you can’t go to other places anymore. Many of their bread like the red bean bun is a must try and the birthday cakes are always freshly made daily and not too sweet. They also have full sheet part tray fruit cake that are cut into 96 slices, best for large parties or events. Highly underrated and a hidden gem!“

“Great boba chain with consistent drink quality. I visited the store near Lunar new year time and was given red envelopes with mu purchase. I went to pick up my fav drinks with them, which are mango pomelo sago and winter melon milk tea with grass jelly!“

The tea itself is just okay — not super strong — and the drinks can lean on the sweeter side. I usually order mine with 1/4 sugar since I don’t like them too sweet.

This fairly new boba spot is located in West Covina, right on the corner of Glendora Ave and E Service Ave. I believe it opened around two years ago, so it still feels pretty fresh and new to the area.

Parking was pretty convenient. There is street parking available, and there is also a small parking lot in the back for the building’s tenants.

🏠 Interior / Atmosphere
The shop itself looks bright, clean, and inviting. It has big shop signs, sofas, and a few cute spots where you can take pictures. From what I heard, they also host K-pop gatherings from time to time, which gives the place a fun and unique vibe.

The staff were friendly, interactive, and easy to talk to. They answered my questions with helpful information and made the experience feel welcoming.

I ordered the Guanyin milk tea, which was recommended to me after I mentioned that I prefer a stronger tea flavor. It was a good recommendation, and I enjoyed that the tea taste came through well. Even though I ordered 100% sugar, the drink did not taste overly sweet, which I appreciated.

The young lady that took my order was helpful by explaining to me a couple of the features on my new bottle. While I do love my new bottle I do wish I didn't have to remove the straw to close the lid and unfortunately it doesn't fit in my cup holder. The tofu is delicious and the rice with kimchi (slightly fishy), seaweed (a little sweet) and pickle is also good. “This is an unassuming shop from the outside, but it really surprised me. There's a good ammount of seating, having both an inside and outside that are both pleasant. We ordered the strawberry slush with boba, large shaved ice, and churros. The churros were filled with a delicious custard. All dishes had super cute presentation and attention to detail. My wife could not have the wedding without having milk tea served to the guests. My wife and I tried the champ milk tea here and decided that this place was the one. Their portions are much larger than other shops, and the tea flavor is pronounced and not covered by sugar/milk. The manager, Ryan, was super helpful in preparing our bulk order for the wedding, and it was a major hit during our wedding. “There's no denying that boba flows through my veins and a place like Sunright only adds to the obsession. This location is tiny - very little parking is available on the streets and this being situated next to a high school means they get BUSY after school gets out. You have enough space to order either at the counter or on the kiosk, with the latter being preferred. On my recent visit, they ran out of boba on a Friday afternoon and I was gutted. I still went with another topping with my Oolong Milk Tea with Soy Milk, which was a solid substitute but not quite the same without my black pearls. Tea quality was fantastic and I enjoyed my drink. However, my friend ordered their Grapefruit Tea with Boba and omg... one of the best fruit teas that I've ever had from a boba shop. I immediately regretted relying on my milk tea to quench my thirst and should have gone the fruity route. I'm taking note for the next time I am in the area.“
