“I was drawn to this boba shop because of its high ratings and very reasonable prices! Located inside Chubby Cattle, you don’t need to dine at the restaurant to order here.

Here’s what I tried:

Osmantheous Oolong Milk Tea with Boba (less sugar, less ice): This was fantastic! The tea-forward flavor was exactly how I like my milk tea, and the boba had just the right texture—not too chewy and not overly sweet. I’d definitely order this again.

Strawberry Oolong Tea (less sugar, less ice): A little on the sweeter side for my taste, but still a great deal at just $2.99.

To my surprise, they were running a buy-two-get-one-free special during Christmas week! The third drink that was part of the promotion was an Iced Strawberry Matcha, which was quite sweet but still a nice addition to the experience.

Overall, this spot offers great value and drinks—I’d happily return!“

This fairly new boba spot is located in West Covina, right on the corner of Glendora Ave and E Service Ave. I believe it opened around two years ago, so it still feels pretty fresh and new to the area.

Parking was pretty convenient. There is street parking available, and there is also a small parking lot in the back for the building’s tenants.

🏠 Interior / Atmosphere
The shop itself looks bright, clean, and inviting. It has big shop signs, sofas, and a few cute spots where you can take pictures. From what I heard, they also host K-pop gatherings from time to time, which gives the place a fun and unique vibe.

The staff were friendly, interactive, and easy to talk to. They answered my questions with helpful information and made the experience feel welcoming.

🧋 Drinks
I ordered the Guanyin milk tea, which was recommended to me after I mentioned that I prefer a stronger tea flavor. It was a good recommendation, and I enjoyed that the tea taste came through well. Even though I ordered 100% sugar, the drink did not taste overly sweet, which I appreciated.

Overall, I had a good experience here. I would personally rate this place around a 4.3 to 4.7, but because the staff were so interactive and welcoming with customers, I would give them a 5. Keep it up!!“

Was in the area and wanted some hot tea. Unfortunately, most in the area close early. They are one of the few that are open late.
There's plenty of free self parking.
The cafe is clean and has a few indoor tables and plenty of seating.

The young lady that took my order was helpful by explaining to me a couple of the features on my new bottle. My wife could not have the wedding without having milk tea served to the guests. My wife and I tried the champ milk tea here and decided that this place was the one. Their portions are much larger than other shops, and the tea flavor is pronounced and not covered by sugar/milk. The manager, Ryan, was super helpful in preparing our bulk order for the wedding, and it was a major hit during our wedding. “Ming Cha is such a cozy cute cafe with lots of cute decor. The cafe is small but has some seating area and some board games to play with as well. Parking is shared with other businesses but there were enough areas for parking. The staff were super friendly and on point. Had assistance with some recommendations since we were quite indecisive with our choices since there were too many good options to choose from.

Everything felt small enough to sample more, yet still filling and satisfying. Wanted to tried 9 yubu sushi. Owner said stop tried 4!! Too much food for beautiful ladies to handle LoL 😆 it is true. Honestly, we wanted to try even more items, but our stomachs were already full!

There are so many items on the menu we’re excited to come back for—especially the specialized sushi selections and the Chef’s Combo Rice Bowl. This is definitely a place worth returning to when you want thoughtful food, a calm atmosphere, and friendly service.

Such a lovely spot for a casual meet-up, a quiet lunch, or foodie exploring. Just a recommendation bigger tables for people who want to order more food and for bigger group size. The only suggestion I would appreciate so I can bring more friends over. Next time I’ll try different drinks. I thought mine was a little bit sweet. With mango and matcha tea.

“Saw that they were running a promotion for 4 regular sized drinks for $16.50, so I stopped by since I haven't gotten 7 leaves in a long time. This location has a drive through and a dine-in, but the dine-in area looks small.

We didn't want to park so we ordered through the drive through. We got the Mungbean Milk Tea, Sea Salt Jasmine Tea, and the House Coffee. The drinks didn't take long to be ready and the entire drive through process went smoothly. The employees were also friendly and provided good service.

The mung bean milk tea was a bit too sweet for my taste even though I already asked for easy sweet. It still tasted sweet after the ice melted. I don't think I like this drink much anymore. For the sea salt jasmine tea, that was good since the sea salt foam goes well with the tea. The house coffee was just okay since my sister who ordered it isn't a super big fan of coffee.

We placed our order around 6:30 p.m., and we saw that many people already had their drinks, while ours was way behind. Then I checked with the guy, and they missed our order. They were busy and needed more Bobaristas. We had to wait a long time, and we finally got our drinks at 7:05 p.m. However, the drinks tasted pretty good as usual.
