“Our first time visiting Yin Yang Tea and it definitely wont be our last! Not only was the customer service great but the overall vibe of this shop was lively while also having a very relaxed atmosphere, the shop is decorated with photos, stickers, art, and they have a large selection of board games! My girlfriend and I both got a choco mocha and a chocolate chip cookie. We both agreed that our mochas were perfectly sweet and creamy, and the cookie (not pictured because we ate it) wasn't too sweet and has a smooth buttery taste.“

Here’s what I tried:

Osmantheous Oolong Milk Tea with Boba (less sugar, less ice): This was fantastic! The tea-forward flavor was exactly how I like my milk tea, and the boba had just the right texture—not too chewy and not overly sweet. I’d definitely order this again.

Strawberry Oolong Tea (less sugar, less ice): A little on the sweeter side for my taste, but still a great deal at just $2.99.

To my surprise, they were running a buy-two-get-one-free special during Christmas week! The third drink that was part of the promotion was an Iced Strawberry Matcha, which was quite sweet but still a nice addition to the experience.

“Really liked this place overall. Tried their new Chinese‑style milk tea and one of the camellia tea drinks, both pretty solid. Tea flavor is strong but the finish is really clear, not that sugary mess, which I appreciate. The camellia one has this gentle floral thing going on that hangs around a bit after you sip. Staff were friendly in a low‑key way, helped me pick without pushing anything, tbh that matters. Atmosphere felt calm, soft background noise, easy to sit with my phone for a while and just zone out. Prices felt okay for what you get, works for me.“

I also began sampling the rice balls and have two more to go to have tried them all. Delicious!! I got a signature tea (today was roasted oolong tea, toffee is my favorite), a milk tea with boba (today was toasted oolong milk tea) and one of my favorite fruit teas with boba, cactus passion tea. I have tried at least 20 different drinks and enjoyed all of them. The staff is friendly and professional, worth a stop whether you just want a drink or some delicious food. Highly recommend!! “Most boba places all taste the same, but their QUALITY sets them apart. The honey boba was SHOCKINGLY perfect. Not toooo chewy, slightly sweet, not hard. All the different tea flavors have been perfect.

Was in the area and wanted some hot tea. Unfortunately, most in the area close early. They are one of the few that are open late.
There's plenty of free self parking.
The cafe is clean and has a few indoor tables and plenty of seating.

You can customize the tea.

“Delicious ice cream! This was our first time here, my husband, our friend and I had three small ice cream cups and we were pleasantly surprised on the size. We were celebrating my birthday, But a perfect way to end the evening, we are so glad we found this place! If you are in Upland area I highly recommend checking it out!“

This fairly new boba spot is located in West Covina, right on the corner of Glendora Ave and E Service Ave. I believe it opened around two years ago, so it still feels pretty fresh and new to the area.

Parking was pretty convenient. There is street parking available, and there is also a small parking lot in the back for the building’s tenants.

🏠 Interior / Atmosphere
The shop itself looks bright, clean, and inviting. It has big shop signs, sofas, and a few cute spots where you can take pictures. From what I heard, they also host K-pop gatherings from time to time, which gives the place a fun and unique vibe.

🙋 Service
The staff were friendly, interactive, and easy to talk to. They answered my questions with helpful information and made the experience feel welcoming.

🧋 Drinks
I ordered the Guanyin milk tea, which was recommended to me after I mentioned that I prefer a stronger tea flavor. It was a good recommendation, and I enjoyed that the tea taste came through well. Even though I ordered 100% sugar, the drink did not taste overly sweet, which I appreciated.

⭐ Overall
Overall, I had a good experience here. I would personally rate this place around a 4.3 to 4.7, but because the staff were so interactive and welcoming with customers, I would give them a 5. Keep it up!!“

“Good respectful environment here the cashier is very polite and patient with our order. I combined the passion fruit tea with peach and black tea, y mira, 👌 it's made perfectly.They have that good matcha here too. It tastes like matcha not too grassy because they add the perfect amount and mix it correctly. The popcorn chicken is a must a tiny bit spicy but my daughter loved it too much she ate everything. Went home and paired those leftoves with some pancakes and syrup. The gift that keeps on giving. The fried chicken wings with, i believe it was thai sauce, were delicious as well. “Was recommended Goomo Tea Shop by my wife and it didn't disappoint at all. As we entered, the interior was very modern, a lot of cute & colorful wall designs. A huge plus is the self serve kiosk and their very large menu. My wife and I took a bit to choose our drink options due to the large menu & first time, but since the shop wasn't busy, we took our time and the staff were very friendly about it. We ultimately decided on two options. I love the design of the cup, although common nowadays in some boba shops, It should be the default cup for all shops. Easily saleable drinks

1. Barley Mochi Fresh Milk Tea - Easily one of my favorites, the mochi combo with the barley is for sure a match. The barley in my opinion is an acquired taste, some like it, some don't but in my opinion, the barley in this shop is perfect. Very addicting & good size. I believe this drink can complement other drinks really well.

2. Watermelon Tornado - As someone who loves the tornado type drinks, this is the perfect drink for a hot day. Super refreshing, and the best part is that it's not too sweet. Perfect balance of ingredients to taste the watermelon & the drink itself. (+Pts for using fresh fruits) Highly recommend as one of the plentiful tornado type drinks.

Overall, wonderful shop, free and plentiful of parking in the plaza, good quality drinks, clean interior, and friendly staff. Will be back to this shop whenever I'm in the area to try the other menu options.“

It gets busy in the afternoons during the school year with high school students, so come early if you plan to do some work at a cafe, and bring noise canceling headphones. “First time trying the Chinese burger at Miss Sichuan . The rou jia mo was so good, honestly one of the best I’ve had. The bread was thin and crispy on the outside, soft inside, and the pork was super flavorful and juicy without being greasy. “This is an unassuming shop from the outside, but it really surprised me. There's a good ammount of seating, having both an inside and outside that are both pleasant. We ordered the strawberry slush with boba, large shaved ice, and churros. The churros were filled with a delicious custard. All dishes had super cute presentation and attention to detail. “I have been trying various milk tea places in the area to find a place that would cater milk tea for my upcoming wedding. My wife could not have the wedding without having milk tea served to the guests. My wife and I tried the champ milk tea here and decided that this place was the one. Their portions are much larger than other shops, and the tea flavor is pronounced and not covered by sugar/milk. The manager, Ryan, was super helpful in preparing our bulk order for the wedding, and it was a major hit during our wedding. Definitely come here for their various milk tea flavors, and also highly recommend their Kumquat green tea! Thank you Tea Champ!“

“The wait can be a little long but it's really yummy if you like taro. (The actual root, not the purple-colored artifical flavoring.) I prefer this over other cold dessert places near the area.

The taiyaki is also really yummy here too because it's not overly sweet. My favorites are cheese (savory) and custard (sweet).“

“Was a perfectly fine boba place. We had the coconut based drinks, osmanthus and jasmine, with cheese foam. The osmanthus is more fragrant, perfect at 75% sweet. The jasmine probably needed 100% sweetness because it was a bit lighter in taste.
