Apparently This is the SPOT for Thai tea. So let’s see if they’re pretty good eh or ew. Service was amazing and I got their large green Thai tea and added jiggly soft grass jelly to it. New butterfly pea milk tea which comes with basil seeds and added some silky pudding to it. And refreshing Thai tea slush that came with some creamy cheese foam. I went around 8-9pm to get the famous Thai tea cheese foam slushie but they were out :(( But!! Since I was already there, I decided to try the regular size Thai tea with brown sugar boba. It was good quality Thai tea! It was yummy, but the regular size cup does run a bit small for $6 something dollars. I bought 3 drinks and it was basically $20 total. So this place is pricy. ChaTraMue - The Original Thai Tea is the spot for Thai tea. Service is amazing and fast, and the store decor is nice with plenty of seating and light for pictures. The Thai tea and green Thai tea are very good, with perfectly sweet, warmly spiced drinks that taste like classic Thai teas. The large green Thai tea can be added with jiggly soft grass jelly, and the butterfly pea milk tea comes with basil seeds and silky pudding. The Thai tea slush with creamy cheese foam is refreshing, and the Thai sea slushy is like 7-11 but better. The Thai black coffee tastes totally authentic. The hojicha milk tea is tasty, and the Matcha latte tastes authentically bitter before mixing with sweetener. They also have a specific section of the menu for nonlactose milk teas. However, the regular size cup runs a bit small for the price, and drinks are pricy. The Thai tea, even at 30% sweetness, was still way too sweet. The tea is brewed quite strong, so caffeine effects are noticeable, making afternoon drinking better for those sensitive.
