“Good old fashioned type of McDonald's. Thank goodness they haven't went to to self-service. I like seeing people in the friendly staff. Kenny is awesome! The best frappes ever and chicken nuggets and fries. There's not too many food service. Both locations in Monterey Park, East LA college and Atlantic and Beverly East LA have no staff members. It's all machines. Do not like it. I miss the old Mickey D's. I will be coming here to you“
“Stopped at this McDonald's on Valley Blvd in Lucky Plaza before my long drive back down to the South Bay. The drive-thru line moved pretty fast and my fries were actually hot and fresh this time. Deducting one star because getting back out onto the busy street is a hassle. Solid stop.“
“One of the best McDonald's service in the area.
It might be inside a Walmart and they might get backed up with orders at times during busy times, but they are always personable and friendly. They do their best to get orders out as quickly as possible. There is rarely any food sitting in the warmer waiting to be bagged.“
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This McDonald’s location really stands out because they are very conscious about their environmental footprint, which I thought was unique and refreshing to see.
Instead of the typical fry box, the fries come in a recyclable fry bag, even for the large size. The cups, lids, straws, and even the chicken nuggets packaging are all designed to be recyclable as well. It’s a small detail, but it shows that this location is making an effort to reduce waste.
The food was fresh, the location itself is clean and well maintained, and overall it was a very pleasant stop.
Just a note for anyone planning their visit: this location does not accept EBT.
This location is near the shops at Montebello.“
