I was so happy to be able to find my favorite meatball marina still on the menu but sad my honey oat bread is no longer an option. I came on a Friday around 5:30pm and there was quite a line with only one person working. Samuel helped my husband and I out and was really great. I asked for extra lettuce and he didn't disappoint! The ingredients were fresh at this location and the inside of the store was super clean. While we were checking out, I heard another employee talking in the back, probably on a break (I hope). Thanks Samuel for the friendly service, building us great sandwiches, and staying calm cool collected during that rush of customers!“
“Honestly, this place is pretty good for when you want to get a nice fresh sandwich. This place has a variety of meats that you can try. The better meats do require it to be more expensive but they are worth the money. You can decide to have your sandwich toasted or untoasted. Afterward, you get to customize it with all the vegetables and sauces you want. It is a pretty simple meal and yet it couldn't be more satisfying and filling. They also have special sandwiches of the day which are much cheaper than most of the sandwiches they have. If you're in a for a snack or maybe even a decent satisfying meal, this is the place you should go.“

Great big menu, lots of great sandwiches, soup, chili and even dessert. Meatless sandwich options too. Ordered the Tomato Bisque Soup, an amazing Turkey Avocado on focaccia and a Pastrami Sandwich, on rye made the traditional way. No pickles. Great little shop, family owned. When he described his father I knew that was the man I used to order from back in the day. Walls show plaques and pictures showing their contributions to the community such as sponsoring many baseball teams and a proud sponsor of dozens of Rose Bowl Parade floats. A grade, clean, plenty of seating but for the most part I think people get it to go. Still can't believe it's been here for this long and I was here 40 yrs ago. . Yelp hours are incorrect, better call and see. Also closed Sunday and Monday now. Prices were very cheap, however the owner stated the menu is changing soon. Seems like this is the last place to raise their prices like everyone else's. Def worth a visit. When back the next day and got a Tuna Melt which was also good. Best around. Nostalgia helps“

The guy working the register was so kind to me and said they can give one free sandwich per a day to those in need or whatever. It was my lucky night. I don't like to owe or receive hand outs. I returned with cash the next day I worked in that area. I offered to pay for the sandwich and he remembered me, but they couldn't accept the money because it would affect the till. I was insisting to give them the money to make it right. So the manager said that I could put it in the tip jar if I'd like and that's what I did. I'm not looking for praise or anything. But I gave it another shot when I moved here and wow, it did not disappoint.The sandwich was very filling and the egg yolk was very, very orange. This is a good thing and speaks to the quality of the egg. The egg was also perfect insofar as the yolk structure was preserved when placed into the sandwich and melted over the sandwich upon biting. The truffled hash browns were also a highlight; it takes the McDonald's hash brown and turns it up to 11.There is an imitator restaurant in Berlin called "44 Brekkie" which, while cheaper and with EU-standard ingredients, is nowhere near as good. 44 Brekkie presents itself as more of a cafe, but the sum of its parts is still not as good as Eggslut. My only issue with Eggslut is that the food is quite expensive and therefore not good for a daily occurrence.Vegetarian options: It's very easy to turn any dish here into a vegetarian one. Vegan is probably much harder considering their usage of butter and heavy slant on eggs.“

“If you're ever in need for a good sub, you can always go to Jersey Mike's this location recently opened and in Monterey Park. I am a very happy and satisfied customer. I truly recommend this location. I am allergic to pork, and as I ordered my sub, I shared my allergy to the staff that was helping me. The young lady that took my order went beyond the call of duty. She made sure that the person preparing my sub was aware of my allergies. Staff brought a clean blade to cut my meat, so that the deli meat was not contaminated with any pork now when someone takes the time to make sure that when you leave their location, you're happy, and you are trusting that they heard and understood your health condition.
