“Now this place can get busy during lunch, yet the team members welcome everyone when you walk in to the store. Whether you are a regular or not. Isabella and Bri are always ready to help and build your sandwich to your liking. Martha is fast and efficient. All the other employees seem to always have a very good attitude. Now when it comes to to food, I prefer this SUBWAY store than any other with even one being down the block from this one, the quality of their produce are always to a standard in which I would expect if I where to be making my sandwich at home. Avocados are always just right. Other places have given me too ripe or not ripe enough. Lettuce is good , I have gone to other stores and have to remove the lettuce due to old and black lettuce from being in the container for too long. My FAVORITE thing here are the cookies. Other stores are either stale or bland. I’m sure it’s the same recipe but maybe the quality of work that is put into making them is what makes these cookies the best.“

“Bathroom was clean and smelled good despite the frequent traffic. I have never had anything but pastramis and fries from the hat but the turkey burger was recommended by my aunt.

I am not a fan of turkey or turkey burgers but I tried it anyway. It was delicious and juicy. Probably the best burger I’ve had all year.“

“I stopped by Mike’s Deli in DTLA on my way to Union Station, and I’m glad I did! While the store itself isn’t flashy at all, they do produce some extremely good sandwiches.

The girl working at the counter was very friendly and welcoming. I ordered a Mike’s Deli #1, which is essentially a spicy version of a turkey avocado sandwich. The sandwich was super fresh and bursting with flavor.

Really, every aspect of this sandwich was memorable, and the meat-to-vegetable-to-bread ratio was on point. The bread was very fluffy and nice, too.

It’s an d-school, simple deli that doesn’t stand out cosmetically, but it’s clean, welcoming, and they pump out some top-tier deli sandwiches at reasonable prices.“

“I always get the Market Chicken sandwitch and for $10 you really cannot beat it; the bacon is so flavorful and the chicken is well seasoned, the arugula and sauce add the perfect amount of freshness. The line can get crazy at lunchtime but they are pretty quick with orders and stuff.“

I ordered a slice of the “Green” pizza and the Caesar salad, which is hands down the best Caesar I’ve ever had. The pizza crust is incredibly flavorful with the perfect consistency, and the edge of the crust had just the right thickness with beautiful airy pockets. Absolute perfection.

The Caesar deserves its own shoutout: homemade croutons that were so good they could be a menu item on their own.

“I am a fan favorite of Lee’s especially the banh mi and iced coffee. When I moved back to Cali I was excited to see how many Lee’s there are through expansion. However I have been disappointed with ALL of them except for the one in Pasadena. Always great service, the bread is always soft with great texture (not stale), plenty of meat. Other Lee’s give and embarrassing amount of meat. Lee’ Pasadena I will always drive extra to come see you.“

It’s a little on the pricier side, but the quality definitely makes up for it. I ordered takeout and was impressed that everything still tasted fresh and delicious by the time I got home. The menu has lots of lighter, healthier options, which I really appreciate. I tried the Peruvian steak sandwich and it was so flavorful and satisfying easily a new favorite. “My new go to place for banh mi! They're open until pretty late for a banh mi place, which I appreciated when I needed to grab some sandwiches at 8:30 pm for a late dinner.

They offer a buy 2 get 1 free deal for the round bread banh mi. One is $6.25 so when you order two and get one free, it comes out to be about $4 each. The sandwiches I've gotten so far (grilled pork and grilled beef) are the most stuffed I've seen in a round banh mi!

I couldn't leave without trying their egg rolls and pate chaud. They're $1.30 each or 3 pieces for $3.75. Solid egg rolls and pate chaud.
