I was visiting California for the first time and my son and daughter happen to love this place. The servers are nice, the place is clean and the menu has artisanal sandwiches and salads. We picked up the Not So Fried chicken sandwich and a summer peach salad. Really happy they took me here, the food is amazing! So look forward to a return visit.
Food was really good

Mendocino Farms is a popular restaurant known for serving fresh and delicious sandwiches. The menu offers a variety of options, including the highly recommended chicken pesto caprese and the farm club. The Chimichuri steak and bacon sandwich is another standout, praised for its tender meat and bold flavor. The restaurant's decor is modern and clean, with the Highland Park location being particularly charming.
Recently, Mendocino Farms has found a home in the upcoming gentrified neighborhood of Highland Park, providing a relaxed and modest ambiance. Customers appreciate the clean and easy-to-order interior, although some note that the dining space can get quite cold at times. The staff is friendly and efficient, with specific mentions of helpful team members. Some customers have enjoyed the chicken parm dip, noting it is delicious and generous enough for sharing. The restaurant also offers a yummy beet and goat cheese salad, as well as a vegan bahn mi that features really good bread and balanced flavors and textures. While the summer salad is missed, the overall consensus is that Mendocino Farms provides a great healthy dining option with friendly service in a clean, spacious setting.
