“This local place hidden inside the business buildings of Monterey Park is a great, local find. Simple, yet cute decorations with positive affirmations posted everywhere—even the restroom. A tasty, modest menu, that has some Mexican and Hawaiian flavors. We went for breakfast and ordered the Rice Plates: Spam or Portuguese Sausage, Standard Breakfast Burrito, and Make-Your-Own omelette. Solid and filling food. BUT, the most alluring part is the family-owned business. A true, local find owned by a daughter with her mother working and helping out. A small but hard-working staff from the cook to the back kitchen. So friendly, warm and kind. A place to visit and support for all Monterey Park residents.“
“Cowboy blend kcups are amazing. Very flavorful and delicious. Our dogs love the Salmon Coconut treats. Shipping was fast and packed well.“
“Just discovered this place in Monterey Park.
Really clean and minimalist interior.
They were playing great music at just the right volume, not so loud that you can't have a conversation.
(Jazz, Amy Winehouse, etc.) There were a few people there studying.
A great selection of specialty coffee drinks, also offers oat and almond milk as alternatives. They had a fantastic variety of pastries (some Asian inspired) and breakfast items.
I couldn't resist their Black Sesame/Mochi cookie and Hojicha cheesecake.
The staff is down to earth and approachable.
Can't wait to try them again!“
“People barely talk about this spot. So let’s see if they’re pretty good eh or ew. They’re right by a golf course so it’s super pretty and people are really nice. I got their matcha latte, Korean corn dog, galbi bibimbap, and kimchi beef soup to try.
The strawberry matcha was sweet had bright strawberry flaves with mellow matchay notes and was nice and milky. If you’re not into cafe like drinks they also have a cooler full of other fun drinks to pick from too. The corn dog came with some crisp corny tortilla chips and salsa and was topped with sweet ketchup, gooey cheese, was coated in crispity crunchity panko breadcrumbs and had an a bit sweet fluffy bready batter filled with half mozzarella and half a spongy fish sausage. Course we gotta mix up the bibimbap that had a not spicy chili flavor gochujang sauce, crunchy nutty lettuce, tender grilled veggies, pickled yellow radish, an egg, and perfectly sweet, savory, grilled, galbi short ribs that were just pure deliciousity. The kimchi beef soup came with a side of rice and pickles and HAD A BUTTON of jiggly soft tofu, crunchy kimchi, and tender beef, all in a savory, a bit spicy, tangy, kimchiy broth. More people should be talking about this spot cuz it’s pretty good.
Strawberry matcha $6.50
Korean corndog $5.50
Galbi bibimbap $18.50
Kimchi beef soup $15“

“Love how I can go for a walk before/after the coffee since it’s attached to the walkway. There are plenty of sitting area outdoor.
My personal downsides are that (1) their indoor tables/chairs are so short so I cannot properly get any work done. (2) they dont have a charging station. They have one plug by the entrance but that doesnt work. So inconvenient.“

“We needed a break this morning and this place provided the perfect vibe and atmosphere for us. The quality of the chilaquiles alone compelled me to write a review. They were the best that I have had. I have tried many that are too rich and others are too skimpy in what they offer. These chilaquiles were a perfect balance of ingredients. I tried the red/green salsa (banderas). I usually tend toward green but this red salsa blew me away. The flavor was exquisite.
The mexican mocha is also a nice experience.“

“Great spot! My mom is celiac and it’s rare (like never happens!) that she can find a gf donut. This spot is dedicated gluten free and she was soooo stoked to visit Hello Yr Welcome twice during her recent visit to LA. We got 3 donuts her first time in and 1/2 dozen the second (bc she loved them so much). They were all very flavorful and delicious!
Staff is super friendly and we enjoyed talking with them. Oh and the coffee is great. I got some delicious espresso / good flavor and not bitter - they know how to pull a shot ☕
Also worth noting that all the breakfast sandos and other items look delicious as well! But we were just focused on my moms rare opportunity to enjoy a donut
Worth getting here early as they do tend to sell out of some flavors by afternoon. We found there’s plenty of street parking in the surrounding area, even on the weekends.
Thanks for an awesome dedicated gf bakery, hello yr welcome team 🙏“

“Casual coffee / tea shop that also has specialty pastries. Highly recommend their Espresso Cloud iced. It's delish. Also recommend trying the Black Sesame Dark Chocolate Cookie, the Milk Cream Bun, and the Yuja Kumquat Tart; all three are very delish and not too sweet.“

“I am visiting from Massachusetts and THIS place is THE BEST for quality, portions, price and friendliness of staff!!! and also the nice location, seating options (inside or balcony outdoors!) sunny!..geat mountain view!..casual and super clean and organized! A+++++++ my 2nd day here in a row for breakfast and the coffee is EXCELLENT & large cups too! ❤️“
“I knew I was in good hands when I entered and heard their baristas singing “Pink Pony Club” at the top of their lungs! The energy was great and exactly what I needed after a killer workout class. I ordered the Two Ladies Avo Toast, which was absolutely delicious! Generous portion of avocado, egg, and pickled red onion on top of a fresh toasted slice of sourdough.
However, I was really disappointed with the amount of chocolate drizzle/syrup on the inside of my mocha. The ice literally stuck to the syrup on the inside, making it all clump together. A proper mocha really doesn’t need all that chocolate (or any drizzle for that matter)— had I known, I would’ve ordered without it. Minus one star for the mocha. Otherwise, it was an enjoyable experience and I’d totally go back!“

“From the first interaction with staff till the very last, loved every part of my visit. They were very busy that day but the guy was so sweet and attentive. He was the only one serving the tables but remained super kind. I ordered the red chilaquiles with carnitas and asked for the spicy salsa to pour on top and wow - amazing flavor. Truly recommend these chilaquiles. I want to go back!“

“The staff was really rude, it was a guy in the back just ignoring the fact I had just got there to order... and didn't even greet or anything just stared and continued to do whatever he was doing.. wait for about 20mins before leaving.. I even had eye contact with him😒😒“

“Oh my goodness! This place was such a beautiful find. I absolutely loved all the options they had for gluten-free and dairy free. I got the lemon cake and two of the sprinkle cookies to bring home to me and my family. The bread options are amazing for gluten-free as well. I ended up getting their chorizo and egg for breakfast. Absolutely amazing food. On the side I got tater tots, they were crunchy and very tasty. Not greasy, which is hard to do when you fry something. We sat in the back where the wine area is because it was really hot that day so the ambience in that little area was very quirky and eclectic. It’s a very comforting delicious place to go visit if you’re hankering for some gluten-free, dairy free pastries. Did I mention the entire place is vegan!“

“Yi’s Cafe is hands down the most competitive for the value you’re getting. The coffee is great, and their sandwiches are honestly the best value for your buck — better quality than anywhere else nearby at a price that’s hard to beat. Every time I order, the owner throws in a free muffin or two, no charge. Small touch, big difference. Highly recommend.
Don’t sleep on their sandwiches!“

“The people at the Kawada Hotel recommended this wonderful diner. I walked in and fell in love with the place. I'm not a fancy person, but I may as well have been eating at a Michellin Stared restaurant. The gentleman behind the counter was friendly. I love ❤️ a good diner for breakfast. If I were to recommend something, it would be to have something other than plastic silverware. Bring the kids...“

“Located at the City National Plaza, about 2 blocks away from the Westin Bonaventure Hotel.
Long line, expensive, and not so great service, but they make some amazing coffee. $6.00 for a vegan donut, $4.25 for an iced americano, and $2.50 to add cloud foam.
Parking is difficult around this area.“

“The atmosphere is very nice, the inside is a bit cramped though. I ordered the matcha latte and it was good, but honestly wasn't anything too special and it was a little overpriced imo, I've had better. Extra point for the vibes tho“
“Delicious drinks with some really creative ones I’ve not seen anywhere else. Staff really friendly and cool. So flavorful. Only thing is I wish it was slightly stronger but that comes with getting a latte. The vibe is nice - hopefully one day there’s sit down areas.“
