Having the opportunity to attend a more intimate, curated & personal dining experience was such a treat! “From the time we parked the car to the time we left we were treated with a kindness and respect rarely seen nowadays. My wife had there famous chiliquiles and I had the carnitas omelette. The food was amazing and the service was great. It was my first time here and won't be the last. Try it out not just for the great cause but for the great food.“

“Miss the old Portos. They had way more options including my Coconut macarons which they no longer have. Also with how busy it gets it's so crowded and overwhelming inside. Everything was still good but miss the extended baked goods. And parking is still bad... Waiting for my coffee they kept having us move when it's so crowded with customers and noehere to move to was a joke.“

“What an absolute gem of a find! I visited for the first time today—and to my absolute delight, just five minutes from my home, I found a real maritozzo con panna that transported me straight back to Rome! You have no idea how happy this made me.
If I could, I’d give it a solid 4.5 out of 5 stars! If I may humbly offer one tiny, respectful suggestion from a passionate Roman heart: try making the cream (la panna) completely unsweetened. In Rome, we keep the whipped cream unsweetened because the light dusting of powdered sugar on top and the soft, sweet brioche bun already provide the perfect amount of sweetness.
At first glance, unsweetened cream might feel like it's missing something, but I promise you, it creates such a delicious balance that people will end up ordering two! Back home, I can easily polish off two in one sitting, whereas here I was full after one just from the extra sugar rush. (And you will save money on the sugar saved !)
Thank you for making such a wonderful place and bringing a taste of Italy so close to home. I can't wait to come back!“

I ordered the Green Tea Snow with Oreos, Strawberries & Popping Boba combination. I loved it. I also ordered the Pistachio & Matcha Green Tea Macarons & the Milk Tea. “First time here. Shared the breakfast sandwich and the breakfast burrito. Both were good 👍 but the burrito was the favorite 🌯🫶 the green salsa it comes with yum! 🤤 the young ladies who work here are very sweet.
Clean even the bathroom.

“Went late one evening right before closing and needed a pick me up and got an iced cafe de olla latte. It was delicious. I was there for about 10 minutes talking with the barista and she was so nice and knowledgeable about their business. Let me try some of the cream soda which is A+ made in house child nostalgia. Need to bring my mom back there with me.“

They also have amazing drink items and food items that are literally all on-point. Try their phat cookies too which are so underpriced it’s redic - the plug got nothing on these… the owner is always experimenting too and totally open to feedback, true Whittier community member and spot!“

“Everything nice people good coffee“

“I came here right before closing (annoying, I know) looking for a chocolate bar I saw online called The Conscious Bar. Came for the chocolate, stayed for the story. I asked the owner too many questions about the shop and she patiently answered all of them explaining her vision is more than just to run a successful cafe but also to be a light in this community. I'll be coming back to try all the patries. It was very clean and comfortable inside too. Like an Oasis in the wilderness that is Valley View and Rosecrans.

UPDATE: I got the bottled honey oat latte and that was really good. Being lactose intolerant, it was nice to have something dairy free ready to grab and go instead of having to special-order it.

Also tried the blueberry cream cheese Cruffin. This is refrigerated because of the cream cheese I think. Cold croissants aren't usually that good, but this was light enough to enjoy cold and it has already been devoured, would get it again, but probably better with a hot drink. I bought a few more of the Conscious Bar chocolate bars.“

“Lil' East is the best! Great coffee and matcha! Love the mocha and cereal milk matcha. The syrups/sauces are made in house. Not a monin bottle in sight so you know you're in good hands. They sell products from other small businesses. Lots of plants and simple stools to sit on to enjoy your coffee. Support small businesses! 👏 This is one of the good ones.“

“Beautifully themed cafe. They have a nice selection of coffees, teas, refreshers, and desserts.

I forgot the special names of the drinks that we got, but I had a banana latte and it was so good! I got the biscoff latte for my wife and a strawberry refresher for my son.

Definitely have to stop by here anytime I have to make a trip to home depot.“

“Tropical fruit tea was BomB! Lots of fruit, 75% is perfect, and my stomach didnt feel bloated! The male cashier was very nice and the woman who made my drink hooked it up with more toppings inside (which was a little too much bc i couldn't suck up fruit with the juice bc it was too crowded in the cup), but good service, humble workers and a good first impression so I will def be back for more! 😋. Oh its a plus if you like anime. They have mini gatherings. I taped a few of their future events.“

They have smoothie bowls and treats to grab on the go. Tried the caramel toffee milk tea, I haven't tried it yet, and I must say I do like it. I love a caramel, and there's just enough in here without it being too sweet. It's mixed well.“

The banana pudding cheesecake was absolutely delicious. Once I started eating, I couldn't stop. That thing was gone in about 10 minutes and I enjoyed every bite. “Happened to accidentally come in during a vtuber event so the place was packed. Despite how busy it was, the maid rushed to the front door to greet us as soon as she saw us. She was very friendly and it almost felt like meeting a friend during their work shift.
We got drinks to go because of how busy it was but we will definitely come back during the week to actually try the food!“

“Plenty of places to sit inside. I don’t think I’ve been there and had to wait more than 5 minutes. The ladies are always nice. The French toast and menudo are worth the visit. They have a couple tvs and coffee comes around often enough or you just ask. They have flavored creamer for your coffee which is a plus. This is a regular when I’m in the area.“
