“Came out because of an Eater article, stayed for the mochi pastries. Got an espresso cloud, a black sesame mochi cake bar, and a hojicha mochi muffin. Espresso cloud was tasty, black sesame cake had a great flavor, and the consistency of the hojicha muffin was spot on. Came on a Sunday morning so it was a bit packed and hard to hear orders get called out (hence the 4 star atmosphere), but would absolutely come back again.“

“First time here and ordered their iced chai latte. The barista was very friendly and suggested I add honey vanilla syrup because their chai is more on the spicier side. I took her suggestion and the chai tasted great! I definitely could taste the note of spice but the honey vanilla helped balance out the flavors. They also sold various pastries that I’d like to try next time. The actual cafe is small but there’s some seating outside. Overall. I enjoyed my visit and is a place I recommend trying out!“

“Soooo delicious!! Ordered to-go & took us a little over 20mins to get home & surprisingly my Shaved Iced dessert was still frozen! Very satisfied with how everything tasted. I ordered the Green Tea Snow with Oreos, Strawberries & Popping Boba combination. I loved it. I also ordered the Pistachio & Matcha Green Tea Macarons & the Milk Tea. The Pistachio Macarons & Milk Tea was delicious. Definitely recommend. (Didn’t get to try Jesse’s Breakfast)“

“My BnA experience was amazing! The service was professional and they expressed much courtesy. The atmosphere felt as though I was in a world outside of the everyday city which I worked in. I had their strawberry matcha and the flavor was a sweet and earthy balance. The Chocolate chip cookies with Walnuts were soft, giving a sweet from to chocolate and filled my mouth with a sensation of home baked feeling that made me feel a yearning for a home from my younger years.
The huge display screen really stands out above all other coffee and tea locations. With a quality menu I definitely recommend visiting Before n After for either a quick snack and refreshing beverages or a relaxing cafe setting to relax in while doing school or remote work.

“I love the neighborhood cafe, my sister had mentioned she enjoyed it last time she came with a friend and I came to try it out. I loved the food, their breakfast burrito so yummy and their chilaquiles too. Loved their salsa. Overall great experience and a nice environment to get breakfast and catch up with a friend. Robert and Norma were super nice and would continue checking in on us to make sure we were doing well. Definitely recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“First time here. Shared the breakfast sandwich and the breakfast burrito. Both were good 👍 but the burrito was the favorite 🌯🫶 the green salsa it comes with yum! 🤤 the young ladies who work here are very sweet.

“The ambiance is out of this world, but don't be misled by the storefront. It is quite large with many rooms. Food was fantastic! It took a while to get it, but I think that's because they didn't have enough people working. Coffee was great also!“

“Love it here!! We found it by chance when we were going through the mall for the first time and it has been great every time. The base cheesecake itself tasted like it should (in my opinion): creamy, cheesy, tangy, perfectly sweet. And then the toppings and flavor choices just pulled it all together! Not overpowering at all, and they ALSO tasted exactly the way they should! You can taste every spice that goes into the toppings and flavors. I loved the peach cobbler one, but that banana pudding is a killer too. I'm gonna try cookies and cream or maybe the s'mores one next. I'm excited to see what else they come up with (: the service was excellent, the owner's daughter helped us and she was super kind and helped us pick our first flavors. You can tell a lot of love goes into the craft here <3“

“Porto’s is always a great spot for sweets, especially their birthday cakes, which are some of the best. The food is also very tasty, and I really enjoy their coffee because it’s always well made. The service is very attentive and friendly. The only downside is that it can get quite crowded, especially on weekends when the lines are long.“

We came all the way from Maryland for my birthday weekend, and this has been the best food we’ve had so far on our trip. Everything was amazing—from the coffee to the buttered bread served at the table. You can really see and taste the homemade care put into every dish.

I had the home fries, and you could tell they were hand-cut from thinly sliced potatoes. My friend ordered the veggie omelet—my God, it was so good. I had the pork chops with home fries and eggs, and wow… if only you could taste this plate. Don’t skip the homemade salsa they bring to the table—absolutely incredible. “I attended a private event at Arcane Cafe on Saturday. The maids were super sweet, though definitely busy seeing to everyone. The event went over the allotted time and, though it was very late, they were very understanding and didn't try to rush us out of the cafe. At this event, you paid for a afternoon tea service. I have attended MANY afternoon tea events--at restaurants, afternoon tea cafes, and hotels--and Arcane Cafe's afternoon tea had some of the BEST food I've ever had for tea, but they gave you so much! Everything was absolutely delicious and presented so nicely. It was such a fun event, the maids were gracious hosts, and I would definitely go back again by myself (even though it's a bit of a hike from my home).“

“I love the Bingsoo here, the portion for the price is great. The service is also great! The owner is very attentive.
A regular size is good for two people. There's plenty of tables, although they're shared with the other restaurant in the dining area. It's located inside the grocery store.“

“I ordered the cinnamon oat latte, and I'm usually not a fan of oatmilk but it was balanced so well against the espresso and the cinnamon that it didn't dominate the flavor. It was a very smooth drink, not too sweet, not too bitter, and not too strong.

My wife got the strawberry matcha latte, and while the matcha was of a decent grade and quality, the strawberry isn't a puree, nor is it like a strawberry creme or milk added in, it's an additive in powder form and she doesn't tend to like that.

Their chocolate croissant, which we shared, was heated up as requested, it came with a line of melted chocolate drizzle on top, which I think was similar to Nutella but less thick in terms of consistency. It was also topped with powder sugar, and it had an inserted line of darker chocolate, maybe 65%, so pretty balanced against the sweetness of everything else involved.

The area the cafe is located in is nice, it's a large promenade with several nicer restaurants (it's also sort of attached to it's restaurant counterpart) and there's plenty to walk around and get some shopping done or walk off the drinks and baked sweets. Plenty of parking as well, and the mall itself is only a block or two north from the cafe.“

The staff was very kind and helped me out with my order. They even corrected my order when I accidentally ordered hot and wanted iced. Totally my fault but they went above and beyond to get me what I initially wanted. Left a great impression!

I’ve came here multiple times and the drink tastes the exact same👏 made to perfection! now when i get matcha from other places i wish it were from cafe fever!😩“

“Been passing by this place for a few weeks and finally decided to give there breakfast tortas a try before work. And me and my partner have been going whenever we can. I get the chorizo w/egg he gets the ham w/egg. Everything taste good the bolillo taste good on its own. Plus we recently tried there Guatemalan breakfast everything on that plate was amazing. I think she said they only make it on the weekends. But so worth. Plus there sweet bread and donuts are also very tasty. Owners are very nice people very welcoming and friendly. Can’t wait to try there other items ☺️“
