“The Harvest Dinner was a wonderful experience. Lemon Poppy is a durable, local favorite, a fun & friendly place to get predictably good food. Having the opportunity to attend a more intimate, curated & personal dining experience was such a treat! The relaxed pace, the unique multi-course meal, & the delightful food surprised that just kept coming ... delightful! Everything was so good! “Open Market catered a wedding reception I was coordinating in October, and they were wonderful. Their restaurant is one of the bride's favorites, and they were great. The food is delicious, and I'm working on getting my husband over there soon. They couldn't have been more accommodating and flexible during the planning, and they were straight pros at the reception. As a planner, I love caterers that are easy to work with and easy for my couple's to work with, and it was a great experience for everyone.

“From the time we parked the car to the time we left we were treated with a kindness and respect rarely seen nowadays. My wife had there famous chiliquiles and I had the carnitas omelette. “We walked the Fern Dell trail to the playground and the coffee shop and had a wonderful morning. Easy hike for the whole family mainly inclining but doable. The kids had a great time and the adults enjoyed the iced coffee and treats. Absolutely will do it again“

“Miss the old Portos. They had way more options including my Coconut macarons which they no longer have. Also with how busy it gets it's so crowded and overwhelming inside. Everything was still good but miss the extended baked goods. And parking is still bad... “Went with some friends who were vegetarian and we opted for the hummus wrap with tofu and it was SO good. I’ll always go for local food versus chains and this hit the spot. The owner was also really cool and chill (loved the condiment sides he suggested). Highly recommend this place! The next time I’m in LA I’m definitely gonna come back here.“

“What an absolute gem of a find! I visited for the first time today—and to my absolute delight, just five minutes from my home, I found a real maritozzo con panna that transported me straight back to Rome! You have no idea how happy this made me.
If I could, I’d give it a solid 4.5 out of 5 stars! If I may humbly offer one tiny, respectful suggestion from a passionate Roman heart: try making the cream (la panna) completely unsweetened. In Rome, we keep the whipped cream unsweetened because the light dusting of powdered sugar on top and the soft, sweet brioche bun already provide the perfect amount of sweetness.
At first glance, unsweetened cream might feel like it's missing something, but I promise you, it creates such a delicious balance that people will end up ordering two! Back home, I can easily polish off two in one sitting, whereas here I was full after one just from the extra sugar rush. (And you will save money on the sugar saved !)

“Love how I can go for a walk before/after the coffee since it’s attached to the walkway. There are plenty of sitting area outdoor.

My personal downsides are that (1) their indoor tables/chairs are so short so I cannot properly get any work done. (2) they dont have a charging station. They have one plug by the entrance but that doesnt work. So inconvenient.“

“Came in for the first time and the cafe had such a nice atmosphere surrounding it. The latte I ordered was delicious and had a wonderfully tasting espresso. I also got one of their lunch sandwiches along with some fries which were both crafted beautifully and not what I was expecting from a cafe. I had to end it with a pastry because they all looked so yummy and the one I chose definitely met that standard. Staff was friendly and helpful as well. From someone who also works in a very similar environment and can be picky, it was very much worth it. I do recommend and will 100% be back!“

“This is the best coffee shop for so many reasons. The service and hospitality is top-tier, literally feel like family when I’m here. Their coffee is insane, the flavors of the Mexican beans they use are out of this world. They offer dine-in glasses vs to-go cups, encouraging you to relax and enjoy the ambiance, I love it. Long line, expensive, and not so great service, but they make some amazing coffee. $6.00 for a vegan donut, $4.25 for an iced americano, and $2.50 to add cloud foam.

Parking is difficult around this area.“

“I came at 5:30pm on a Sunday and it wasn't very crowded which allowed me to easily get a seat. The atmosphere is the typical cafe vibe with k-r&b and lofi in the background and natural lighting, and the decor theme is cozy pastel blue + chrome. I tried this place because of the ATEEZ drink collab event and ordered the Mushroom Cream Baguette Sandwich, Spinach and Feta Pocket, and the Sweet Mamacita drink. They were all delicious, especially the Spinach and Feta Pocket which was very crispy! I wish I could buy more of these if the prices weren't as steep, but I understand that these may be typical L.A. prices. They were also filling, considering the decently small portion sizes, as I managed to get through the Spinach and Feta Pocket and my drink before I was full. I would recommend all of these items and dining in besides doing takeout like I did. It's overall a nice study spot with great snacks, and I'd come all the way out here just to try more items or just get the same ones I ordered!“

“A little over 3 years ago, Fleur Cafe opened, and has been a fine success as a small, one-of family restaurant with excellent service and great food at reasonable prices. Now they have expanded their kitchen, and finally introduced an expanded menu with wonderful new dishes added to the popular favorites! I personally enjoy the outdoor dining option, but they have also got a nice little dining room. Prices have gone up a bit, but it is still a very reasonable breakfast, brnch and lunch choice.“

“This was a pretty cool, quaint cafe that's buzzing with energy. I especially like the outdoor patio when it's not too hot outside.

We ordered the Falafel Wrap, that Dahab Breakfast special featured on the counter, Matchanade, and Cortado.

The Falafel Wrap was pretty good, but the side of potatoes with that aioli was the real highlight. There's a nice tang and acidity to it that went well with the roasted potatoes.

The Dahab Breakfast special is a bit more subtle plate, especially with the goat cheese and olive oil playing well with the bread and scrambled egg. It's not a knock-your-socks off type of dish, just clean and easy going.

As for the drinks, the Cortado is as good, but I especially love the matchanade, aka Matcha Lemonade. There is a nice balance of the subtle umami of the matcha and the citrus brightness of the lemonade and a hint of sugar. Overall, that drink is something I would have again here.“
