We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! The food? Delicious! The drinks? Deliciously effective! The atmosphere? A total vibe!We’re visiting LA and stopped into Alta at a friend’s recommendation. Fantastic experience! Such friendly and attentive staff from host to servers to chefs. Sat at the chef’s counter and had the best time watching and interacting with the chefs. The food was absolutely delicious as were the cocktails. My only regrets were that I got the most popular items on the menu (fried chicken/collards - despite being delicious) and didn’t venture into some of their more unique dishes, like the wood grilled fish (chosen daily) with yassa sauce or the sweet...read full review

I really Alta! I was greeted very cordially! Another host seated us and was vert attentive! Our waitress referred to us as "friends" and she took care of us as if we were her "friends"! I was only eating plant based foods so she made recommendations. The Vegan California Gumbo, I added tofu as my protein was so delicious.
