Alta Adams is an absolute gem that offers one of the best dining experiences. The food is delicious and top tier. The fried chicken is slamming and comes with great tasting hot sauce. The oxtail and grits combo is a pleasant surprise, and the catfish and grits, shrimp and grits, mac and cheese, greens, yams, black eyed peas fritters, and pancakes with syrup are all delightful. The chicken gumbo with the shrimp add on is also loved, with grilled shrimp and super fresh rice. The service is very nice, extremely warm, and hella friendly. The hostess, servers, bussers, and manager are all exceptionally attentive and great. The atmosphere is cool with very good music. The rear covered area is an inviting space like being outside and inside at the same time. It can get a little loud at points. The only knock is that it is pricy, but if price isn't a deal breaker it's worth it. It is highly recommended for a great night out.
