“Starbucks feels like an oasis in the industrial warehouse area of Vernon, conveniently located on Soto Street.
The store is clean, and there is plenty of free outdoor parking available. There are also many EV chargers nearby, making it a convenient stop for electric vehicle charging while enjoying coffee or taking a short break.
Overall, a comfortable and practical Starbucks location in an unexpected area.“

“Under new management but the food quality still seems great. Expect a decent wait as they get slammed with catering orders around lunch time and it can take a bit to make your food. Parking is terrible in this lot but you can usually find a spot.“

“Jurassic Magic is easily one of the coolest finds in LA. the name makes it sound like a theme park gift shop, but it's actually this incredibly chilled-out, artsy sanctuary. I spent the afternoon on their back patio--it's like a secret garden filled with tropical plants and mid-century vibes. I tried the 'magic latte', and the spice blend is genuinely unique; it's warm and comforting without being too sweet. you can tell they really care about the craft, from the live-whisked matcha to the fact that they roast their own beans. it's the perfect 'third place' to just exist for a while, whether you're catching up on work or just hiding from the city noise. Definitely a must-visit if you appreciate good design and creative coffee.“

“Love this place! Everyone who works there is so friendly. The lattes are great and they carry Out of Thin Air pastries. The beautiful flower arrangements available for purchase are a bonus. I don’t know much about ice cube variants, but something about the shape and size of their ice cubes are perfect? Parking in the lot can be tough if you aren’t there early but there is usually something available on the street.“

“One of my favorite coffee spots in LA. They have great tasting espresso that really comes through in their latte. The shop is cute, stocked with knick-knacks and treats, and the baristas are friendly. I hardly ever have an issue finding convenient parking.“

“Excellent baguettes. We tried the full-size omelette sandwich - a generously portioned, perfectly prepared soft French omelette in a crusty baguette. Superb. Almond and chocolate croissants were also very good.
It's counter service, right on the sidewalk of busy Melrose Ave. No seating other than a bench and a couple of stools to use while you wait for your freshly prepared order.
Parking can be a challenge. We snagged a street spot on Harvard. There's a park nearby with benches and shade if you want somewhere to eat your treats.“

“Always a flawless experience here; the service, food and coffee never disappoint. I tried the breakfast burrito with Beyond sausage this time, and it was incredible. Super flavorful, perfectly filling, and left me feeling energized instead of weighed down. I love seeing high-quality plant-based options on the menu!“

“I found out about Awakening when searching for local cafés months ago before finally stepping in person. I had time to spare before a meetup nearby. Awakening has a lot of tempting choices and customizable options at reasonable prices. The staff were courteous and above and beyond.
One barista showed me a more expansive space to work, relax, or hangout in the back of the storefront. Outdoor seating is also available in front at Awakening, and I'll definitely come back.“

“The food is amazing. But what I like the most is the atmosphere. We decided to seat outside. Lovely cute chairs, quiet and breathy. Same deal for the inside. Food was tasty and portions very good in size. We got savory crepe - Crepe heaven special with egg, turkey and cheese. Very good balance of stuffing and crepe. The crepe itself is delicious. Not too dry or chewy. Sweet crepe was loaded with fruits, we’ve opted for condensed milk instead of Nutella. Two crepes to split between two people. We also got coffee and coffee was not bad. I am very picky with coffee but their coffee was surprisingly good! Highly recommend! Pictured strawberry banana crepe with condensed milk.“

“Great tasting cappuccino and friendly service. These are barristers using professional grade machines. No electronic gizmo, button pushing faux espresso machines here. Btw we stopped here after stuffing our faces with delish Thai food just a half block away. So we got the energy we needed to move on.“

“I Love Amara!!! The best Avocado Toast in town!!! Nice atmosphere, friendly people and great service!“
“I tried something different and tried Hukuju and literally love at first sip. I love that they didn’t pre-sweeten the Matcha. Honestly, I think they really tried to serve matcha as authentically and best possible. The nutty, velvety, cocoa notes were spot on. And it was just so lovely yapping for a couple hours while sipping this drink. And surprisingly, I enjoyed it even more the cooler it got. Warm and room temp with a splash of honey is the way to go.
I also tried their Uji Homare and it was a much more familiar flavor profile to what I was used to but without bitter aftertaste. Just really good flavor
The taste and vibes were immaculate. The staff were kind and very knowledgeable. I learned a lot about Matcha talking with the manager especially about their cast iron low boiler.
Unfortunately, the smallest bag of Hukuju was 100mg and I wasn’t ready to drop $70 like that. But luckily they have a similar product in a smaller tin that I was more than happy to take home with me“

“The best hot chocolate I’ve ever had in my life! It tasted like I was drinking a beautifully rich, comforting chocolate. Sweet enough but not so sweet. Real chocolate. My God I didn’t know this way of drinking hot chocolate existed!“
“This was the first time my wife and I had been to this coffee shop. I loved the atmosphere, very quiet and chill. The iced latte was spot on. My wife and I shared an avocado toast which was fantastic, never thought to put cucumber on the toast with a strawberry but it paired well. The toast did take 30 minutes to get to us. I had to go to the to the register and ask about it. I was told that the cook never received the order due to there being no paper in their machine. It happens so no biggie. My only advice would be maybe to have offered a free coffee or some compensation for waiting so long. Overall though, this place was fantastic and I would return!“

“I've been wanting to visit Pam's Coffy for a long time, and I'm so glad I finally had the chance.
At first glance, the whole place feels very Tarantino. Colorful, vintage, obscure movie posters, CRT TVs playing VHSs, and about 50 empty cereal boxes.
The menu leans into that cereal sugary sweetness. We got the banana pudding latte and the captain crunch latte. They were delicious, but definitely more like desserts. On the way out, though, I grabbed a drip coffee, which they keep ready in old-fashioned diner style Bunn carafes, another fitting touch.
The pastry was pretty good, and you can also get bowls of Captain Crunch which is super fun.
If you're a Tarantino fan, or even if you're not and you like dessert-y coffee, er, Coffy - give this place a shot. You'll have a good time.“

“My son brought me to doto last night for my birthday. We found ourselves in Silver Lake after a hike and he saw the great reviews and selected this for our celebratory dinner. We couldn’t have been happier! It was 5 stars from the special corner table, to the complimentary prosecco, to the incredible service - food - and atmosphere - to the yummy dessert with a birthday candle! We left happy, full, and knowing we’d return. Btw best burger and fries in LA! Thank you doto!“

“Very expensive for what you're getting. At least the food was mostly good and the service was good.
Ordered two 16oz lattes with an extra espresso shot in each, one chocolate concha, and two breakfast bagels. After tip the total was $50 making it $25 per person.
The cinnamon brown sugar and cajeta lattes were very good. The chocolate concha, especially when dipped in a hot latte, was delicious. The breakfast bagel was okay, but a little too salty for my taste.
Probably won't be back again just because of the price. It's a shame because the coffee and concha were good.“

“Food:
Please please please get the beuongo bbang (붕어빵/taiyaki). As a korean american Ive been craving the pastry that my halmoni used to get me back in Korea and this is the most authentic and delicious one that beats the one in Korea! I was so startled by the taste that I urged my parents to try and they agreed that the batter is really well made. The drinks were great too but definitely on the sweeter side (try the zodiac drinks, thought it was a cute way to try introduce new drink combos).
Parking and store:
Parking lot is a decent size for it being in ktown. The store is small inside but the atmosphere is so cozy and cute.
Service:
Im pretty sure the man who was taking my owner was also the owner but he was super friendly. Would go out of his way to make sure customers can find the bathroom and would check in with each of his customers.“

The service was courteous and a peaceful. The atmosphere was bright and what you’d expect at a small coffee shop. It’s definitely a spot to put it on your coffee shop rotation list.“

“Such a cool coffee spot in inglewood. The vibes are great and the baristas were welcoming and gave us some recommendations. We got an iced cafe de olla and hot lavender latte. Both lattes were delicious and had the perfect amount of sweetness. They have a great selection of both new and old records across all genres. Highly recommend ✮“
“Loved the vibe the moment I walked in. They have a ton of drink options to choose from. We tried the blueberry matcha and the strawberry matcha, and both were delicious. Based on those, I’m sure the rest of the menu is just as good. Definitely worth checking out!“

“BEST CATERING. LOVE this Place!
I cannot express how thankful I am to know I can count on Float Hollywood! I was stressed about Easter, and I called Joyce, the owner and asked if she can do last minute catering. She was quick to response, attentive and planned my event and prepared an amazing cheese board, Lemonade in a gorgeous crystal dispenser and the most amazing sandwiches! The catering arrived on time, carefully displayed on white ceramic trays/ wood platters. I have hired Float for all my corporate special events
And my family celebrations. Float is amazing! No leftovers! Everyone loved everything. Thank you Float!“

“First time trying and will say it was delicious. I got the Iced Spiced Mocha 🔥 .. doesn't come sweetened so just an FYI I know some people like sweet drinks I loved it😋. Actually got to speak with the owner for a bit. It's a Salvadorian family owned & operated business and they own their own coffee fields in El Salvador. “The main entrance is closed. You need to use the intercom on the left side of the door to open it. After entering, park your truck. You'll see signs for the receiving and shipping offices. Go inside and sign in - the staff will assign you a dock number. If your dock number is 19-22, drive in according to the directions in the picture. The road around the entire building is one-way. If you have a 53-foot semi-trailer, the space for backing in at docks 19-22 isn't very big. It's easier if there are no other vehicles on either side though. Good luck - unloading should be pretty quick“
