“If you think every Taco Bell is the same you couldn’t be more incorrect! For instance the Taco Bell in Eagle Rock is total trash; the chips taste like they were fried in part oil, part disinfectant spray—the spot has “low vibrations” in that meta way (like a west side person would say). The HLP Taco Bell is by far my favorite in LA—I will go out my way to get food from here (although I do live down the street…). 99% of the time they crush my wild veggie modifications and everything is consistent and super tasty. Plus the people who work here seem to have a sweet work community and are really nice to customers and each other. Taco Bell has always by far been the best fast food chain for veggies and I’ve got no shame admitting among my foodie friends how much I adore Taco Bell, but particularly THIS store. Thank you HLP Taco Bell for making my weird vegetarian visions come to life! Y’all are artists!

P.S. the Taco Bell at Santa Nella on the 5 is also an all-star location.

“I have been coming to this Subway for several years now and it has been a very solid spot for me. I typically order through the mobile app, the food is always ready on time when I arrive. Special shout to Sarah who makes the best bread of all the Subway locations I have patronized. She greets all her customers with a smile and is very speedy with her service. “There was a woman working this morning around 3:30AM who recommended the creamy avocado ranch sauce which is incredibly tasty and made my meal experience much better. “I finally got to try krispy krunchy chicken. My friends have said so many good things about this place. I see why they love this place. The chicken was definitely crunchy (the batter was good!) and delicious. The fries and biscuits were really good, too. Everything was hot and fresh out of the oven. My family loved it.

“I've been to many burger spots in my life, but I've never had a burger as good as the Chef Burger from Burger Bun. I'm talking perfectly seasoned beef, and delicious (but not overpowering) burger sauce, crisp vegetables, and the brioche bun is spectacular. There's no burger in Glendale that even comes close. The wings are also some of the best I've ever had and the homemade sauces are so, so tasty. The fries are perfect, and they have amazing milkshakes too. To top it all off, the service is ridiculously good, and the prices are fair. This is my go-to spot in town.“

So for my last night with My Dad before headed home we decided to give this place a try. It's a walk up window order and pick up inside if staying or can get to go outside window as well. 50's diner style. Me and my dad got #12 Turkey Grinder combo and a #14 Roast beef dip combo comes with fries and a drink. Service was good and attentive, Very friendly. My Turkey was good I really enjoyed. Bread was really fresh to me. My dad's he enjoyed I tried it and was very tender meat. Fries were fresh and salted just right and being crispy. We both enjoyed very much . I will be back soon to try more stuff when down to visit .

The place has increased in price since I first came here and the menu has changed and what I used to get is no longer on the menu. LION KING ROLL is my goto. It’s delicious. However….. Today as I approached the counter to get my food, a homeless girl walks in barges right next to me as my order is being processed and given to me, and asks “y’all got any miso soup?!?” Stinky and obviously covered in filth, no bath for probably years and a dirty soiled blanket wrapped around her, I was instantaneously disgusted. Miso soup was given to her and I don’t know what else because I got outta there before she could even ask me for money or whatever! You feed a pigeon and what happens??? A dozen or more come. This is a simile; a point I’m trying to make. Homeless are the root of the problems here in Koreatown. You feeding them is the hand the feeds the problem.“

“I've come to this location so many times over the years and it's always been consistently good. I usually just use the drive thru but the service is always fast. Ambiance in this area is ok, due to the PCC being nearby and it helping the area be good. The food itself is always fantastic. The Big Carl is like a Big Mac, but better (and I am a huge Big Mac enthusiast). “The Beef Noodle Soup was delicious. As others said, the proportion of beef to noodle was generous, and the flavor was robust. Although the meat alone was somewhat salty, it paired perfectly with the wide noodles. The broth was also yummy, not too light or salty. The Dry Noodles were also pretty good. However, the Medium spice level was still quite spicy! The Cold Cucumber was so-so, more bland than expected. Refreshing after hot and spicy noodles, though. Besides that, the service was good, and the restauraunt itself was pretty clean.

Overall, the flavors were very authentic! Would come back here again for the Beef Noodle Soup, or to try the Guilin Noodle Soup.“
