“If you think every Taco Bell is the same you couldn’t be more incorrect! For instance the Taco Bell in Eagle Rock is total trash; the chips taste like they were fried in part oil, part disinfectant spray—the spot has “low vibrations” in that meta way (like a west side person would say). The HLP Taco Bell is by far my favorite in LA—I will go out my way to get food from here (although I do live down the street…). 99% of the time they crush my wild veggie modifications and everything is consistent and super tasty. Plus the people who work here seem to have a sweet work community and are really nice to customers and each other. Taco Bell has always by far been the best fast food chain for veggies and I’ve got no shame admitting among my foodie friends how much I adore Taco Bell, but particularly THIS store. Thank you HLP Taco Bell for making my weird vegetarian visions come to life! Y’all are artists!

P.S. the Taco Bell at Santa Nella on the 5 is also an all-star location.

“I have been coming to this Subway for several years now and it has been a very solid spot for me. I typically order through the mobile app, the food is always ready on time when I arrive. Special shout to Sarah who makes the best bread of all the Subway locations I have patronized. She greets all her customers with a smile and is very speedy with her service. This location is highly recommended!“

“I never knew that this place existed. A few months ago, I saw a video short online about Krispy Krunchy Chicken. I looked on Google Map and saw that this place was a few miles from my house.
I ordered the 12 piece chicken only. The gentleman told me that it would take 20 minutes. I watched him make the chicken. The gentleman was very nice.
My husband and I had a late lunch of Krispy Krunchy chicken. The chicken was delicious. The batter was crunchy and seasoned perfectly. Chicken was moist and not dry. If I'm in the area, I will definitely come back for the chicken.“

“There was a woman working this morning around 3:30AM who recommended the creamy avocado ranch sauce which is incredibly tasty and made my meal experience much better. Unfortunately it looks like they need more staff, there are very few employees working there. I believe the issue is a corporate issue and not local management issue. “We loved their Shawarma wraps! We ordered 1 chicken shawarma wrap and 1 mixed shawarma wrap. They tasted excellent and the portion was big. The prices of the wraps are very reasonable. Owner and his son were very friendly. We will be back for sure and this place is definitely highly recommended!“

“I've been to many burger spots in my life, but I've never had a burger as good as the Chef Burger from Burger Bun. I'm talking perfectly seasoned beef, and delicious (but not overpowering) burger sauce, crisp vegetables, and the brioche bun is spectacular. There's no burger in Glendale that even comes close. The wings are also some of the best I've ever had and the homemade sauces are so, so tasty. The fries are perfect, and they have amazing milkshakes too. To top it all off, the service is ridiculously good, and the prices are fair. This is my go-to spot in town.“

“We ordered Rose Teokbokki in first visit. I really loved it . Then we visited again to try the OG chicken Katsu and I really loved it. I would definitely go back for it. Portion size was very good for the price. Teokbokki size was huge. The service is very good .Very kind staff and customer friendly. I loved the ambience and the local Korean vedios running in the television which made me feel like I was in South Korea. The staff gave us miso soup as complimentary which I really appreciate. I would order it in my next visit as it was tasty. Overall I would definitely recommend for my friends and family.“

“Menudo was on point. You can tell that they used the whole tripe, you also get a knee bone. This menudo didn't come out of a can that they sell at a Costco Business center. Most menudos come out of a can that they sell at Costco Business centers.

Getting there was easy on public transit. About 0.8 miles from the A line station on Cypress.

“I’ve been coming here for years because I literally live a block away. The place has increased in price since I first came here and the menu has changed and what I used to get is no longer on the menu. LION KING ROLL is my goto. It’s delicious. However….. Today as I approached the counter to get my food, a homeless girl walks in barges right next to me as my order is being processed and given to me, and asks “y’all got any miso soup?!?” Stinky and obviously covered in filth, no bath for probably years and a dirty soiled blanket wrapped around her, I was instantaneously disgusted. Miso soup was given to her and I don’t know what else because I got outta there before she could even ask me for money or whatever! You feed a pigeon and what happens??? A dozen or more come. This is a simile; a point I’m trying to make. Homeless are the root of the problems here in Koreatown. You feeding them is the hand the feeds the problem.“

“I've come to this location so many times over the years and it's always been consistently good. I usually just use the drive thru but the service is always fast. Ambiance in this area is ok, due to the PCC being nearby and it helping the area be good. The food itself is always fantastic. The Big Carl is like a Big Mac, but better (and I am a huge Big Mac enthusiast). The limited-edition churro milkshake is fantastic btw, please give it a try if it's still available by the time you read this.“
