went with a group of 7, takes reservations so as long as the entire party is there on time, you'll be seated promptly. it's a small restaurant but i like that our group had our own large table with two grills. it does get busy though, so you'd have to hail down someone to continue ordering. AYCE time limit begins with the first round/order, and menu has so many options - from appies to desserts. they don't have radish paper but their garlic rice was so good! especially loved topping...read full review
I've had Gyu-Kaku in Japan Mainland China and Hong Kong. First time trying it in the US and I like it very much. The price is reasonable and considerably cheap for LA but the food is fantastic. Would recommend. The only thing is it does not have the nori seaweed bbq sauce rice that the stores in other countries have, but the rice here is also good.
