Discover where to enjoy delicious Mexican dishes in Montebello.
“Stopped by La Paloma Grill on my way through Montebello, thoroughly enjoyed the food & the service was very friendly. I was plesently surprised when I found out they serve margaritas. Wonderful Experience!! I definitely recommend stopping here.“
“Usually when restaurants serve several types of cuisines, the food is usually mediocre. Z's is the exception. I have been coming here for years, before they moved to this newer location, and their food is always good. My favorite is the beef kabob plate, much better than any Mediteranean restaurants in the area, hands down. I used to go to others, but they either changed the type of meat or ingredients to lower quality. Z's quality is always been the bestt, juicy and flavorful. Please never change . Also, their staff is consistently friendly; always smiling and doing extra.“
“I always like to have breakfast here. The prices are reasonable and the seasoning is authentic. The service is good but not excellent and there is always everything. The stew and the Menudo are unmissable.Parking: Inside the mall, a little hard to find from the street but there are enough places if you don't mind walking a bit.“
“For 40$ that was worth itOwn taco stations , salsa (red) could've been spicier I immediately opted for the green twang.Anyways bottomless are strong so don't drink if you can't hang my count qass 6 and my home girls 5 so just see if you can sneak in a shot or something on the side for it to be worth it... staff are friendly but I feel like they should have their own space for lunch it's a bit strange not toAnyways good luck will come back soon ? ? ? ?“
“Nice friendly place to bring the family. Service was great, menudo ? was bomb ?Great atmosphere!Parking: They have a parking lot. With plenty of parking for the week day. I went on a Sunday during lunch time and it was, a pretty packed house! I managed to find a spot quickly.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“Rafael's is the best! This is where lots of our family meals happen. Great food. Reasonable price. The best menudo ?We love our waitress! She is always kind, cheerful, and very calm demeanor. Always gets our orders correct and checks up on us.I highly recommend bringing you friends and family here to experience authentic mexican food.“
“My food was chicken fajitas and it was overcooked ( dry) My son got the shrimp combo , the fried shrimp seemed like it was probably frozen ( blah no flavor) the bacon wrapped shrimp was dry seemed frozen too . My Mom loved her shrimp fajitas. My husband liked his soup caldron 7 de mares ? He said it was very tasty. My youngest son liked his combo late ( he eats everything ) The waitress forgot to bring the guacamole so I had to ask the other gal & she brought it . When we were finished the waitress was quick to collect payment , but never asked if we wanted any to go containers. And it was not busy at that time . I must say the cadillac margarita is the best I have ever had.“
“I absolutely love coming here. Early when they open. Everything is fresh, hot and delicious. I recommend it to anyone hungry. The potato tacos are delicious and my Dad loves their fish tacos. Grilled or fried. He can't decide. It's so clean. Including the restrooms. Go go go. Let me know.??????“
“I had the camarones ala diabla!! I would highly recommend this dish if you really like spicy food... If not my wife has the enchiladas de mole, also very delicious. We think any plate you try you will not be disappointed and the service is ? excellent. We will be coming back. That aguas are gigantescas!!!!“
“We ordered the BBQ rib Plates.....YES RIBS !!Only on the weekendsThey are some of the Best ribs west of the 605 freeway , Very tasty tender and meaty ribs comes with fries , salad , mex corn on the cob.You will Not be Disappointed ? They packaged all our plates Up with great service for a great Father's Day.Thank You Juan Great Fiesta“
“Excellent service and very authentic Mexican food flavor. Definitely, I will come back. From the taste of the home made salsa to the really good hand-made tortillas. I tried the chilaqiles Verdes, and they were really good. Also, I ordered a carnitas taco and, for my surprise, was very good and abundant( I couldn't finish).“
“If you want bomb Mexican food this is the place. Back to school shopping got strenuous. We dropped in to replenish. It was a great choice. The Molcajete was perfect for two or three people. It's meaty, juicy, and flavorful. Their aguas are delish too.“
“Found this spot by coincidence, right off the bat, we loved it. Not only are all the dishes we tried delicious but it is authentic mexican food, HOMEMADE!! This was our second time here. The first time we ordered chilaquiles verdes con carne asada, posole blanco, taco de birria con queso y la quesadilla de cecina. Everything was a 10? the second time we ordered 2 platos de posole blanco, burrito mojado en salsa verde, and another one in salsa roja y un plato de desayuno para niños and birria nachos. Once again, everything was exceptional. They also have refreshing aguas frescas, jamaica and lemon with chia are by far my favorite. My husband enjoyed the cafe de olla. I would highly recommend this establishment. The service is excellent as well as the food. The only hiccup is that the parking lot is small and shared with other businesses. Also, the wait time is really long, especially in the breakfast and lunch time. But if you wait, you won't regret it.“
“I recently visited Xecora in Downey, enticed by its reputation as a local favorite. Having previously experienced their Downey location, I decided to stop by this one, hopeful for a similar culinary adventure.Upon entering, I found the atmosphere at Xecora to be pleasant, but not extraordinary. The ambiance could use a bit more character and warmth to elevate the dining experience. However, the overall vibe didn't detract significantly from the positives of the visit. The service, on the other hand, was a standout aspect. The staff was friendly but also efficient and attentive. Their willingness to accommodate and make recommendations enhanced the overall dining experience. The chip and salsa at Xecora maintain their reputation for excellence. The flavors are vibrant, and the freshness of the ingredients is evident. It's a delightful way to kick off the meal and sets the stage for what's to come. One of the highlights of Xecora is their special drink, which lived up to its reputation. The unique flavors and creative presentation added a refreshing touch to the dining experience. I highly recommend trying their special drink for a flavorful twist on traditional options.Xecora is renowned for its ceviche, and rightfully so. The freshness of the seafood combined with well-balanced seasoning makes it a must-try dish. Unfortunately, during my visit, the absence of oysters was a letdown. It's worth noting that availability may vary, so it could be worthwhile to inquire ahead if you have a specific dish in mind.Overall, Xecora has the potential to elevate its status with a few enhancements to the ambiance, but it certainly delivers on taste and service.“
“P&J deli market has some of the best food in Montebello, you have to try!Just destroyed a breakfast burrito, the owner made the eggs "Mexicana style" with onions, tomatoes and jalapenos and it was amazing. He grated the hash browns as well, and this burrito was amazing. It was not greasy or salty, but full of fresh flavor!I've had a lot of breakfast burritos in my life, and this has to be one of the best I've ever had. The owner put a lot of hard work and attention to make such a masterpiece, you have to get one yourself!Check them out, you won't be disappointed!Dietary restrictions: Owner will customize your orders, they aim to pleaseWheelchair accessibility: Easy to get in from the parking lot“
“The employees there are so nice and i go there almost every day after school because they have really good raspados and im friends with some if the lady's and the only thing that makes me mad is that the raspados are 5$ and they should be like 3$ or 4$ at least but besides that i love that place ❤“
“Crabby's was definitely a great experience and a good seafood option! One of the few places in the area that offers a wide array of seafood and ways to enjoy it.Started off with some guacamole, you can tell it was just made! Their house salsa was delicious as well, I combined the two and winner winner!I tried their garlic buttered shrimp with rice and beans, and will have to get that again next time! They had some spicy options which also look good, if you're into that kind of thing ?.Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and will happily be back soon. I love that this is a family business and everyone is so friendly and kind. Thanks again and see you soon!“
“It's hard to be disappointed at little Mexico. Their strength is seafood but everything else I've had there has also been good. Their tostada's are massive they're practically an entire meal by themselves. The fajitas are sizzling hot and a good mix of meats and veggies. The only thing I would not order again is the seafood soup, had it once and it just lacked flavor, so I'll just have anything else on the menu. Minus half a star. There's occasionally a live music group that makes their rounds but it can be a little annoying when you're trying to have a meal and they're asking you for money.“
“Little hole in the wall. With excellent dishes at reasonable prices. Come here for lunch and try their tasty fish or shrimp tacos with beans and rice on the side. Bring a friend and snatch the bill because its only gonna be a little over $20 for the both of you. Nice choice!“
“Riquisimas pupusas. Without compare queso con Loroco our all-time favorite ordered yuca con chicharrón but got camarón instead hence the four stars (through grub hub) Will def order again. That is how good they're are. Keep up the GOOD WORK El Zipote“
“My 3rd visit there . Tuesdays are usually hum drum , but now when I'm in the area ... I'll be heading to this place ... the street taco's are great small , but packed with big flavor ... luv this food ... this visit I got one of each of the street tacos .. all great ...“
“Place is great. Staff is friendly. I believe it's Korean owned due to some items you won't see at other Tom's. Cheeseburger combo was so good. Fries well seasoned and fresh off the fryer.Tried their bulgogi kimbap. It was good.Parking is decent. They do phone orders.Definitely will come back again“
“Got the shrimp burrito with no rice, and was overall satisfied but was left wanting more salsa (they give 2, and the guacamole salsa is superior to the roja salsa). Food was fresh and chips were decent - they came with my order. My total came out to about 11-12 bucks after tax / tip.Next time I’ll dine in and try all of their salsas!“
“Burrito was tasty. A good size for a quick eat. Not so large that it ends up being two meals. And well balanced ingredients.Parking: There is a good size lot but the north side is the entrances while the south side is exit only remember that when coming from the south side“
“After a decade, I'm not coming here for a wonderful wholesome Latin menu. I finally got here and it was amazing that the flavor continues to be the stamp of this wonderful place. I would highly recommand step on hand and have yourself some authentic. Mexican “
“Now, this place has the authentic Barbacoa. We order exactly what they have outside in their picture with the consome. And let me tell you hand-made tortillas, and the flavor was not intense of the goat. Delicious overall, and they can also make you a hole ? up on request ?.“
“Couple years ago we often come to Tam's Burger for their burgers and other items on their menu. We enjoy their burgers combos they were very good at the time last time we were there. We decided to try their burger and we did order cheese burger combo. It's been a long time we have to Tam's Burgers it looks the same way from the outside but the inside different they add more table and wide menu selections. The cheeseburger were very good and their fries were very crispy we need to come back again to Tam's Burgers“
“First timer. Ordered a carnitas burrito and a carne asada taco. The taco came with two tortillas and enough meat to make two tacos. Asada was tender and juice. NiceThe burrito Beas carnitas. Whole beans rice and diced meat. GoodTheir green salsa was bomb. Kick at the endWill gray again“
“I had a gordita that my hairstylist Elvia bought me and I had the papas and chorizo with rice and....OMG it was so good really delicious I do recommend The Gorditas. The service it's really friendly and nice, everything it's delicious.“
“Beautiful place to eat, the owner was very kind and helpful all the time, I definitely recommend the food, I tried the chilaquiles rojos and the verdes, but I like the rojos more, they have a little chipotle taste that was delicious, and the horchata was also tasty, natural, excellent, they charge a little bit more if you order breakfast after 12 o'clock and also charge 4% of the bill if you pay with card, I prefer to pay cash and give them that extra and a little bit more on tip they deserve it, I forgot to take pictures because I was enjoying the food, next time I will do it.“
