“Food was pretty good. Daphne's has a policy of being stingy on some items, even when they sell specific meals that should be better curated. For instance, you only get to have a small amount of bread and only one sauce in a group meal for four people. I wont return mainly for that reason.

This location seems to be going for the ambiance of a hole in the wall 90s Greek restaurant. It's probably more authentic, but it's just so funny when the prior location I went to was set up very modern. They don't have a light up sign out front and their menus are on 24 inch monitors like 10 feet off the ground.“

From the food to the atmosphere, I felt like I was in another dimension with the unique take on regional cooking styles to the sound quality of the music. You could taste the freshness in the ingredients — even the cheese in the dessert was clearly homemade and freshly made. This is such a unique and special place. Thank you for a wonderful experience. Other brunch menus were nice too, cinammon roll focaccia was sooooo good-a little too sweet but it's good to have once in a while! Restaurant itself was so cute and clean, loved the vibe. “I had this placed saved on Instagram and decided to give it a try. It did not disappoint! We got the chicken kebab plate with extra pita bread. It was so delicious 😋 EVERY bite produced a happy dance. Customer service was great. The girl at the counter was very patient with us. There’s outside seating where we chose to sit and free parking on the side streets. I would’ve given them five stars but the fries were lukewarm. They were seasoned and crispy but warm. I will definitely be back and I can’t wait to eat my leftovers tomorrow.“

“Santee Falafel in DTLA is a must.

We ordered the falafel, chicken, and hummus and everything was incredible. The falafel was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, the chicken was flavorful and well seasoned, and the hummus was fresh, smooth, and honestly some of the best I’ve had.

You can tell the ingredients are high quality and everything is made with care. Simple food done right.

“They have an awesome multiple day deals you can try. We went on a Tuesday for the gryo wraps and fries combo that could feed up to 5 people.

The gyro was decent and the fries were nice and crispy. The portions were a little bit small, so it felt like it could likely feed 4 instead of 5.

“We enjoyed the food but as most of the fried items are cooked in the same oil, if you have an allergy issue, my wife could not eat many of the cooked items. It’s not cheap. Three people about $200 which includes gratuity. For those with no allergies, we enjoyed the food.“

“Wow. I just put my fork in to pull some chicken meat off and it was so tender the bone popped right out (even though it wasn’t my intent) and came off 100% clean. Unreal.. reminds me of the food back home. Can’t wait to try everything on the menu including the fried eggplant vegan sandwich. We got the lemon chicken, falafel, and fried cauliflower, which is more like a cauliflower steak than florets. Delicious but just an fyi.“
