“I recently purchased food from here while attending a conference in the city of Los angeles. It was truly fall off the bone deliciously seasoned chicken. The chicken was tender and juicy. It was a little difficult to separate out some of the smaller Bones from the half chicken but I got through it and enjoyed that I could rend the flesh with my hands because I did not have a knife and fork (I do not mind this it made me feel cool to eat it manually). The bread was spectacular and was baked to a degree of fluffiness that I have not experienced in another bread. I got it with hummus and pickled turnips which were pretty delectable, very toothesome and vibrantly colored. The sauces I chose were the tahini and the red sauce which were both nice accents on the food. I also got a delicious mint lemonade which was the perfect amount of sweet and tart with a nice cool mint flavor.

It is so difficult nowadays to find truly authentic Middle Eastern food, oftentimes it is just a poor imitation co-opted and misappropriated by people from northern Europe who think they have a claim to the land. That's why I am so glad you have gotten food from Jerusalem Chicken where I could tell it was cooked by people truly native to the land.“

I was greeted by the staff when I walked in, and they continued this with other greeted customers. My Spicy Chicken Wrap with hummus was ready in about 10 minutes. “The taste was excellent, and they gave big portions for the price. We got hibachi off the lunch menu and ended up with leftovers.They also threw in some free egg rolls, which were also really good. It seems like they mix all their own sauces, too.The only problem was a language barrier with the cashier, so they must not be used to taking orders verbally. Oh, and the salad is literally just roughly chopped iceberg lettuce with dressing on the side.There is no space to sit down and eat, so this place is take-out only basically.“
