Stopped here before flying out for dinner and the food was amazing. We got the beef stew with black lime and a chicken shawarma dish. Both so flavorful and generous portions! Their rice is amazing!! We also got their house drinks, the mint cooler and orange blossom sekanjebin. Very aromatic and refreshing. It was nice to have a good meal on the flight for a snack. Very cute and homey ambiance and cute branding. They have cool totes I dunno if they sell them but the stickers they have on the cups would be great merch!!

“An absolutely wonderful dining experience at Orla by Michael Mina! Everything was exceptional, from the food and presentation to the service and overall atmosphere.

We had the lamb chops and the snapper, and both were outstanding… beautifully prepared and full of flavor. And whatever you do, save room for dessert! The Baklava Sundae was absolutely amazing and the perfect way to cap off the meal.

Orla is definitely worth a visit, and I highly recommend it!“

“The kebab shop has been my long time favorite! I found this place in San Diego and I’m so glad that they have a branch here in Torrance.

I always order the kebab fries and my husband always orders the shawarma wrap.

Their garlic sauce is one of the best I’ve ever tried and it always has me coming back! They have other sauces as well and it pairs so great with anything you order here.

The meat is flavorful, the vegetables are so fresh and their customer service is the best.
You get quick but quality food and nothing beats that especially if you’re short on time.

“Taste of Tehran was my first time eating at a restaurant in Tehrangeles, and it was an awesome choice. This was definitely one of the best Middle Eastern restaurants I've been to in LA. Everything was so great. And yes, I ate a lot of food on the first day here. I started off with some of the stews that included gormeh sabzi, the gheyme, and ash reshteh, which were all very tasty. The surprise hit to me was the Lentil Quinoa Salad. Seriously, one of the best salads I've ever had. It was sweet, refreshing, and savory all at the same time. No words to describe. And then the meats: the koobideh and soltani plate, just fabulous, along with that lentil rice. I can honestly say that Persians make the best rice out of all Middle Eastern countries! Even the barberry rice was amazing. Never had a rice this sweet and fruity before! Overall, an amazing experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Don't be fooled by the looks of this place. It looks like a quick, over the counter order type of restaurant, but the food is top notch. Even Anthony Bourdain has been here! “The market is a very pleasant place to be on a Saturday the fruit corner is very good and I buy my best Fuji apples there and best tangerines and peaches. I enjoy the experience a lot. “Great food! Had the chicken shawarma and really enjoyed it. It came with pita bread, garlic dip, and two sides. There’s a long list of sides to choose from so you can mix and match to your desire. The chicken was tasty, juicy, and has the perfect char from cooking on the spit. The portion was very large and filled me up with some leftovers.

“We’ve been here multiple times and honestly every time has been a great experience. The food is always fresh and delicious, the atmosphere is warm and relaxed, and the staff are genuinely kind and welcoming.

You can really feel that the management cares about the customers and about maintaining the quality of the restaurant. It’s one of those places that feels comfortable whether you go with family or friends.

The kebabs were excellent, the rice was perfect, and everything tasted authentic and homemade. Definitely one of our favorite Persian spots in OC right now. Highly recommended.“
