Great tasting beers and an awesome staff!
beer here was good, but the selection was underwhelming this trip. the filtered pilsner was pretty decent. nice neighborhood for foot exploration, though parking was problematic after business hours

Monkish Brewing is a super solid spot for 3x IPA, known for its top-tier beer. The hazy beers are delicious, with the DDH Nectar Necro being a favorite. The brewery has a pleasant ambience with a very strong hoppy smell, as this is where they produce the goods. The place is pretty spartan on decor but has a nice covered outdoor patio surrounded by foliage. Inside, there are lots of places to sit, heaters on the patio for cold weather, and it is dog friendly. The beer-tenders are all super nice and friendly, and they always have some good hip hop on. Parking can be a huge issue on weekends or at normal happy hour times, so be prepared to park across the street or down the street near the Anaheim Packing District. The limited holiday Belgians were strong and delicious. Overall, it is a hidden gem with great beer, though it needs a little more weather-proof space.
